I been under Dr Furman’s care since 2005. Every review is spot on. He is a brilliant doctor, very informative, and a great bedside manner to go along with all that knowledge. I travel from South Jersey til this day. I’ll actually be seeing him in a few weeks. I trust no other man when it comes to my health. Dr Furman is the best of the best: deeply and broadly knowledgeable, caring and compassionate, patient. Hes the first doc that I trust 100%.

My wife was treated for several years by Dr Furman.She had CLL and made regular visits for monitoring that condition. He and his staff were thorough and upbeat, letting her know that there would be ways to treat her condition if and when it should recur.What recurred was a more aggressive form of the disease which would not respond to simple infusions. She knew she would need chemotherapy, but Dr Furman postponed her treatment because the pandemic was in an acute phase and he wanted to avoid risk to her. Was that a wise decision? I don’t know, but I do know that the delay allowed for progression of the disease to her bone marrow; that ultimately killed her. During a significant period of that time, Dr Furman was away, though we were assured he was in contact with the hospital staff. Could her life have been saved by earlier treatment? I don’t know, but the question remains with me . My wife trusted him, but I feel he betrayed that trust.

Unfortunately Dr. Furman was not available. I was able to have a nice visit with his physician assistant, Leslie Rudolph, who is quite knowledgeable about the blood condition which I have. Also had blood taken and had an IVIG which Dr. Furman has prescribed for me.

Dr furman has been treating me for cll/SLL leukemia for the past five years dr furman exhibits all the characteristics you would want from any doctor especially one treating you for cancer he is professional in every sense of the word he instills in me an incredible sense of confidence when it comes to treating my cancer he. Listens to your concerns with compassion and is excellent at reliving certain fears you have about your cancer he is truly concerned about you and any additional problems that always crop up with cancer patients eg anxiety fear of secondary cancers family concerns thank god for dr furman and others like him who have devoted their life to helping people like me deal with cancer with the attitude that hey I can beat the dreaded disease cancer at present there is no cure for my cancer but with dr furman and his dedicated staff at least I have a fighting chance through his treatment options which have kept going for five years and his continuing research to one day and hopefully soon discover a cure
