Dr. Jamal Rahaman is an exceptional physician and surgeon. He always takes the time and with truth and gentleness, explains the situation in a manner that is both understandable and reassuring. There are many “great” physicians, but there are few physicians who are both phenomenal at what they do and remarkably kind and compassionate as well. I am writing this review as the spouse of a patient of Dr. Rahaman. I firmly believe that I would be remiss in not doing so. My wife was diagnosed in July of 2015 and I consider us to be truly blessed that she has been under his care from day 1 of this journey. Dr. Rahaman is, without a doubt, a brilliantly phenomenal surgeon. The best of the best. More importantly, though, he is an extraordinary human being. I cannot begin to convey the amount of respect and gratitude that my wife and myself share for Dr. Rahaman. From the moment that we stepped in his office over 3 years ago, he has been extremely hands on, involved in every aspect of her care. Dr. Rahaman has gone above and beyond for her and for our family and he has done so with extreme diligence, gentleness and most importantly, kindness. He consistently makes himself available each and every time my wife reaches out to him. Whether to discuss test results, treatment or just for some encouragement and reassurance. He spends a great deal of time during each office visit and with incredible confidence, truth and gentleness, he always manages to answer her questions, address her concerns, calm her fear and always make her smile.
