I had a very good experience? Idk what’s the problem. The staff was beyond kind . They went above and beyond . They were great . Bc of Covid you can’t go up to the rooms , hopefully that changes soon , but they brought down my mother and she was very well taken care of . They brushed her hair , her nails were clipped and she was well dressed . My mother was relaxed and had nothing bad to say ! …. at the end of our interaction , she said she wants to go back to her room . I felt very comfortable with her there . I don’t understand the bad reviews . My only complaint is that the location is terrible . Take a tram , a red bus , the q102 , the f train . My lord 🙄

Rude staff members with bad attitudes and terrible communication. The facilities are drab & outdated and that just adds to the unpleasantness. There is very little accountability with all NYC health & hospitals but this one takes the cake.

This place is a fk nightmare, nothing but a joke & not a funny 1! U cant get what u need & theres only 2 nice staff here. The other day a male patient had a seizure & 2 nurses just stood there & laughed! Also on the island theres only about 5 stores with not much variety & very expensive because no competition so u cant get what u need & also theres nothing to do, nowhere to go = extremely boring.

The heat is unbearable and extreme dust. Why is it not closed. Why does anyone especially patients have to live under those conditions. Where do we stand. Has osha and the joint commission examine and acknowledged its health safety.

Many people live in the hallways here. They may have unsettling appearances and a dark demeanor, asking for a light or offering lights, but remember that they are people too please, and your value is based on how you treat the brain damaged victims of circumstance.
