My aunt is on the 4th floor and i must say its horrible attention. Patients property missing and nurses have a bad attitude.

My visit was good entering and leaving. The reception looked beauty was very help and informative. She is very professional and clear about procedure and guided to how to sign in. The escort was great, and fun. My mother look very nice and was in good spirits she had no complaint. When it was time to leave the Escorts was professional and supportive. Although the visit was only 30 minutes the space out doors was clean and set up nicely very pretty with the garden. We took pictures had lunch and exercise her gifts she enjoyed. It’s been a year and two months, I’m grateful for a supportive Team at Harlem Rehabilitation Center. We are definitely in this together to win, it’s a new day and system I’m happy to know This Nursing home is doing everything for the residence comfort and family who visit, prayers for all you 1st responders here and all around.Thank God for Harlem Rehabilitation Center Staff and Team that works.Thank you🙏🏾

My experience was great. The staff was friendly. I just wish I had more than half an hour to be with my family member.

I visited my Mother for the first time since the start of the pandemic. She is doing well. The staff are all very kind to her. I appreciate their compassion and commitment. The sign in procedure is a bit lengthy but that’s understandable! Keep up the good work!

Everyone was real professional, The Health Facilities was very clean. my aunt who I were visiting was very satisfied...

Meeting with my mother was the high point of my visit but for me too short, I understand the time limitation and Im grateful that I was able to visit. In addition to visiting with my mother I was able to meet with some of the staff and get answers to some questions I had. Facility was Spic and Span clean. Thanks for the opportunity for the visit.

Spoke with Sherise the Director of Recreation today in regards to a pkg that was sent to my friend and she assured me that he would get his pkg after her staff came from lunch she is an asset to this facility. We need more professional people in places like this!🙂💖

Im a patient doing rehab here and its one of the worst experiences I ever had. The nurses ignore me, Im allergic to seafood do I know what they do serve me a fish patty

If I could give 0 stars I would. My mom was here from Thursday - Sunday and every day I had to call and speak to someone because the nurses were not taking care of her. More than 1 hour wait when there is a emergency. Told nothing can be done when she had to use the bathroom or being told her nurse is on break and she has to wait even tho shes bleeding. Cold food or food that stinks. Plus being told she was scared of a nurse cause of how rough the nurse is being is a major issue. This review is only step one on action being taken against this place.

Everyone was friendly nice accommodating and welcoming.

Update: i just found out my mother was being abused and treated her horribly. Shes very traumatized. DO NOT BRING YOUR LOVED ONE HERE AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. I WILL BE REPORTING THIS FACILITY FOR NEGLECT AND ABUSE!!!.Please do not go to this location. My mom has been there for a few days and she calls me crying everyday saying that they are not treating her well. She says they treat her like an animal. She also mentioned when she asked a nurse for help the other day because she had issues using the restroom and the nurse tokd her what do you want me to do.i had to calk the hospital myself to get help and when they say they will handle it nothing is being done.

This facility is warm and loving and the staff is beyond what you would imagine. They saved my husband’s life literally. I am thankful to God for blessing our family and for all their professionalism and care. I could not have asked for a better rehabilitation facility. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

The workers of Allure Rehab are helpful and kind. They have rehab walking and able to take care of myself when I return home. I would recommend rehab to anyone who want to be able to walk, talk and be able to do thing they did before.

I think therapy is a great thing. It’s teaching me how to walk and how to increase my steps. Through my progress I am 100% satisfied. I have a very good instructors who have a lot of patience.

I find speech therapy very helpful. It helps me to know what’s sore or not to do. OT helps me strengthen my arms and makes me more confident to do things more in my own. PT helps me to get strength in my knees and walk better. I feel the strength in my arms and my legs.

I came a long ways. I’ll admit I was in bad shape when I got here. And I made fantastic recovery since then. My team worked with me every day and I wouldn’t be where I’m at now without them. They helped me walk, use the eights safety and the machines. I can also write think and remember. I can also put thoughts together. I appreciate you all so much.

I like therapy. I enjoy coming out of my room and going downstairs. I feel like it’s helping me reach my gals and confidence. I like both my therapists and both are very nice.

While talking with my family they said they could understand me better now. Speech therapy has helped me articulate to other people. My words are not as slurred as they were before.

This place is a dump! Very unprofessional. Administration staff, questionable! Staff seems do whatever, as no one monitors them. Then also question about there rates and reviews about this nursing home. Should definitely be audited. For questionable practices at this facility. Please think twice before bringing a love one here!!!!

Therapy helps me good. You all do good to me. My physical therapy makes me exercise and walk and it’s good for me. I love you all so much!

I enjoy the therapy class. It helps me very much, speech therapy help me to cordon age my memory writing speech and physical therapy helps me a lot to walk and lose weight. It’s a good program.

My experience here with allure has been very good. I find the staff to be very patient and informative. I enjoy coming to therapy and look forward to it daily. I enjoy using the equipment. My first time in a rehab facility.

In therapy it’s like family, they work together as a team. They make my body mine, muscles feel great. My greatest moment in therapy was me walking without any help.

I read some of the reviews, and the reviews are accurate! This place should be reported to Dept of Health and shut down. There isn’t adequate running water, and if it is running it’s cold. Your family member will be washed in cold water unless someone heats it up in the microwave. The residents are totally neglected. They are falling, seriously getting hurt, and management is covering these incidents up. They are not being monitored for follow up treatment, there are simply put in bed and left there to suffer physical pain, and mental anguish. The building is literally falling apart especially on the 5th and 6th floor because of some crazy leak, so your family member will not be safe staying there. The living conditions in the facility are by far some of the poorest living conditions I have ever seen in any Nursing Facility that I have ever come across. If you must seek care do NOT send your family member the Greater Harlem! They will surely be neglected, and experience a horrible encounter at this facility! I’m so disgusted with this place that I took the time to leave a review and warn others! This facility is a disgrace! Should be investigated by the NYSDOH and shut down!!!!

They are the best PT and OT. When I think I am unable to do something they will stop me to say no you are resilient. They let me know when I’m good or bad. I am respected and I respect them. I wish I could take them home. Because I’ll be dancing by the summer.

The condition he was in when he was admitted, was horrific. We thought he wasnt going to make it. As time went by my dad improved. His social worker was Mrs Olefea Ranger. I had posted something on Social media about how long it took to process his paper work, out of anger. Im so sorry Mrs Olefea Ranger. His care at the facility was great! 😊

This place is a joke. Horrible! Someone stoled $20 from my dad. The Place is falling apart. I have photos. I tried to download, don’t know if it worked or if they have it blocked. The photos are of walls falling apart, dirty floors, missing door knobs and missing bottom borders and a horrible leaking faucet in room 311. They do not return phone calls and ignore all request when it comes to medical matters. They ignore repair issues. Takes days/weeks for repairs.

The rehab taught me valuable techniques to apply to my life going forward. I gained knowledge of different things to exercises that I would continue to do after I leave here.

When I came to Harlem center I was very sick. They helped me to get better. Now I can walk and do things by myself because of their hard work. I thank all of them for helping me out.

They do the best they can helping me get stronger they are great therapists and very caring. They listen to my needs. Therapy is the best part of being in this facility.

Therapy has been good for me because it helps my body and helps me think better. I can express myself better. Therapy is going to help me go home and be okay.

I enjoy my time in therapy. I made an enourmous improvement. Anthony made as good as the best I am.

My grandfather had to come here after surgery and was not provided with the best care. For one what he was told in reference to how the facility looked was the complete opposite. They said everything was state of the art and technically that was only the main entrance. The 5th floor and many others are old and need plastering and revamping. They are doing construction on the floor which patients are on which can not be good for patients health. The rooms are not advanced as stated by the rep who spoke to my grandfather. He went there in order to get therapy after surgery and within the 2 weeks he was there had to go back to the hospital because the infection came back in his foot. They are not about putting patients first and I do not recommend anyone to bring their family member here.

I would be in a bad situation if Harlem center did help me. My foot is better because of everyone at Harlem center. I enjoy being in therapy. Nurses and doctors also helped me a lot.

I like coming down to rehab most of all. I like to appreciate angelic for all the work she did. If it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t be walking.

Experienced very good help with all necessary work need to accomplish this goal I had. Physical therapists were very very good.

I wanted to walk again and feel my legs and get my strength back. It is excellent and beyond.

I have no more pain in my hip and am able to walk a lot. I love doing the bike that’s my favorite.

Im thankful for what yall doing for my grandmother.. I live in California now so I can only really get to see videos of her progress & Im noticing & hearing from my family all the things shes now able to do again.. so yea 5 stars from me!!!!

This facility is constantly under staff and basic patient needs such as bath towels,chucks and razors are very scarce. It amaze how this facility is able to pass state inspection. I stop by the facility to visit a friend weekly for about 9 months and every other week the old outdated elevator is out of service. With regards to the meals it is not to par.

This place is horrible . The staff is horrible . They dont give medicine on time. They dont care for your love ones if u not around. This place be shut down . The CNA are horrible

I wouldnt believe the 5 star reviews. The company has patients write success stories while theyre here, and then they post them here with a 5 star review if the patient signs a press release to it.

I like being in speech therapy because it helps me recall proper word usage, through word association and memory aids. I learned to remember words and that helps me to express myself.

They followed my needs learning how to use my exercise equipment, learning how to safetly use my rollator and turning safe.

The therapy was very helpful with my walking and my balance it helped with my confidence as well.

First, let me start by saying. This facility is the worst!!! Please people, I encourage you to not let any of your family members stay in this place. The good part of this place is the first floor renovations. Its a dreary dungeon on the second floor. They have a undercover special THIEF stealing from elderly people. My mom was ripped off for 53.00, when they sent her over to the hospital for blood. The staff, is rude and extremely unprofessional, I WILL ADD THE NURSING SUPERVISOR MISS PERSAUD is a rude unhappy female. She has the worst attitude towards human beings. IM DONE, My mother will never enter into this facility EVER IN THIS LIFETIME AGAIN. Giving this review one STAR is too much for me. Having the patients write a review about this horrible facility is fraudulent...The social worker Miss Debra Headley is the worst person Ive ever met. She is a habitual LIAR!!! THIEVES!!!Let me start by saying, this matter has been resolved as of today April 20, 2018. A very special thanks to Mrs Winsome McClean Davis The ADMINISTATOR she is an amazing professional person. I really appreciate her helping me through this difficult situation that occurred at the rehab facility back in February. If you need any assistant for a family member. I like the food that is provided and all the staff treats me well. I enjoy the various activities that is presented it makes me feel so good, I feel like I’m home.

The therapy team help she by taking time with me , show how to help with the pain when walking. I am able to move around and am thankful for them.

While in this facility and under the care of Dr. Raji Ayinla and Dr.Teresa Thomas my grandmother got gangrene in a bedsore that she acquired there. This facility needs to be shut down by the state!!!They are constantly under staffed. It is dangerous.. The RN and Drs seen my grandmothers wound and did NOTHING. I HAD TO CALL 911

A lot of days I didn’t feel like coming to the gym but everyone especially ekta and Alina and everyone else too! I had a good experience here and I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else but here.

Very disorganized and discriminating bullies in the administration against the workers who are not black .Very poor training made available during orientation due the disorganization and lack of communication between the assistant director and staff.Combination of the unsecurity of staff and hateful administration make for a very toxic atmosphere to work in ! Not a place I would trust with your loved ones!
