As a new patient, and I’m extremely pleased to have chosen Dr. Rodriguez. The staff was extremely helpful. I needed a blood test, which is usually daunting for me because of bad experiences in the past; Christina made me feel comfortable, and the draw went extremely fast and without pain.

This was my first time at Manhattan Specialty Care, and it was amazing! I was a bit nervous at first but Kat and Dr. Schwartz were very informative and welcoming throughout the whole process, I would definitely recommend them to prospecting patients!

Dr. Yakubov is very delightful patient and kind. He makes sure to answer any questions or concerns you may have and does so in a non judgmental & informative manner. Everyone is super accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable!!! The location is very modern and stylish(which makes waiting less stressful/ more enjoyable). This will always be my first choice for medical care. They’re also very good at returning calls which can help if you ever need to reschedule any appointments/ or ask questions. Dr. Rodriquez and his staff are the best— accommodating, attentive and extremely welcoming.

She is very informative and helps you understand your results, as well as, how tests and procedures work so you have the knowledge behind what to expect and the functions and purpose of the test.

If you are looking for a gastro, look no further. Dr. Lauren Schwartz is the best, very thorough, patient, and responsive. The practice is very friendly and eager to assist - especially Kat. The offices are very clean and modern. I highly recommend this doctor and office.

Came in for a standard test/check in for a very common issue, was asked to wait for blood work. Staff had me wait 2 hours to do simple blood work, in which the medical assistant tried one arm, failed to draw blood, then left and disappeared for an hour and a half, only to come back and try the other arm and still couldnt do it. Proceeded to tell me I should go to the lab next door which may be an additional cost to see if they can try drawing my blood. This same assistant ignored me and proceeded to draw blood for other patients after me in the room next door. Staff made no attempt to accommodate for the incompetency and refused to let me speak with the doctor or raise this issue to a more senior staff.

Commodity healthcare. Overall care was professional and efficient. Appointment started right on time and I was in and out in 15 minutes. This is defintitely the traditional, US-healthcare model where the doctor is clearly trying to check the box and see as many people as possible. You wont find any deeper conversation or concern about issues, but this is totally fine if thats what you are looking for! I would not go here for anything other than a very specific issue.By the way, they ask patients to review on the spot as you are checking out, which I would guess accounts for the number of reviews and the high rating level (I would feel much more pressure to give a favorable review under the watch of the receptionist).

I recently went into see Dr. Mikhail Yakubov. It was a very pleasant experience. He was very kind and informative, making sure to not miss any details that I needed and very generous with his time. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating, I was the first patient this morning at 7am. Everyone had a smile and great attitude, if I didn’t know any better I would have never guessed it was so early in morning. The space was clean and modern, a very posh doctor’s office in my opinion. I’ll definitely be going back for any other care that I need.

Smoothest appointment I have ever experienced. The receptionist was warm and friendly, the doctor I saw was straightforward (although not very thorough), and my nurse was fantastic - she kept things light during bloodwork with her humor and personality. (Shout out to Cathy!) The facilities were very clean and well-kept. Would definitely return and recommend to others.

I had a great experience with the doctor, the appointment was seamless, and I quickly got the information I needed to begin a diet to treat chronic stomach problems. In the doctors office a nurse had me fill out an automated “5-Star” review for Google, and I was happy to oblige.Fast-forward to two months later, when I received a bill for nearly $30,000 for an “out of network” test that the doctor ordered without my informed consent. At first I had no idea what this bill was related to, and thought someone fraudulently misuser my health insurance. I frantically began doing research about what had happened, and by searching the doctors name on the bill I turned up a news story from NPR that showed that Manhattan Specialty Care has a repeated practice of ordering an extensive and unnecessary battery of DNA analysis from an out of network lab, where simple and much less expensive tests provided in-network would diagnose the issues for which patients had appointments.I am gravely disappointed at what I feel is an incredible abuse of my trust by the doctor, and I would caution anyone using this center’s services to ask for a lot of information about which labs will process tests, if any additional tests will be run, etc. I hope this review helps another person avoid the shock and trouble of trying to fight such an incredible bill.

It’s frustrating that Dr. Nabeel Chaudhary is my primary care physician, and I constantly have to wait days for an appointment or to ask him a question because they’re always double booking him.I’m finding a new doctors office.

It was a pleasant experience seeing Dr K Lee this morning. It was my first visit but she was very nice and had good bedside manner. The staff is also very professional. I would go back to Dr Lee if necessary.

Similar to another poster, I had a great experience with the doctor, the appointment was seamless, the offices were clean and sparkly. Over the course of several visits I was treated for foot pain with a soft cast and got multiple xrays and an MRI, on the doctors orders. I spoke to a billing specialist who assured me I wouldnt get a huge bill for these services. She tried to have me fill out an automated “5-Star” review for Google on the spot.The doctor ended up recommending surgery. I got a second opinion and resolved my issue with PT. Months later I have been billed thousands of dollars for these visits with the doctor, on top of the cost of imaging. Perhaps this is a bigger criticism of the healthcare system than one medical practice -- but I dont feel that MSC informed me up front about the costs or even cared what the costs would be for all of these visits and tests. Beware.

He and his staff take the time to explain everything and make sure that I do not feel rushed, giving me ample opportunity to ask questions. He is very thorough and is committed to finding answers. I was able to book an appointment on Thursday for an afternoon appointment on Friday with ease using Zocdoc. The office is easily accessible and updated. The staff was courteous and I was seen on time. Dr. Yakubov was very personable and took the time to answer all of my questions. It was a pleasant first experience.

Dr. Lee was amazing! Listened to everything I had to say, which was a lot. She’s so proactive and I was seen within five minutes of checking in!

Nurse Catherine, was just amazing. She made me feel so comfortable. Great job guys, she’s a wonderful asset.

They just forget about my appointment at 6:30 am, about an hour nobody can say anything about what’s going on, it’s the worst medical care I’ve ever seen.

I barely write reviews after any medical visit. But I have to say this was the most up top medical visit I have ever had. First, the office itself is beautiful very clean and the staff really friendly. I personally saw Dr. Mikhail Yakubov, he is very professional and knowledgeable he put my mind at peace and I would definetly be coming back to his office and I would recommend everyone I know to him. Secondly, his nurses are amazing they were really gentle and really nice overall. They both made me feel better about needles and it was awesome. His staff is amazing!!!!!!

Medical care was fine, billing and scheduling has been a nightmare.I found their office by going onto my insurance carriers website (Anthem) and finding in-network specialists. On the day of my procedure I show up and theres an anesthesiologist, but no one tells me he works for an out-of-network practice! So I get a personal bill for $6,500! After months of haggling with my insurance company they agreed to cover the anesthesiologist (a miracle!) and sent me a personal check. Now I cant get Manhattan Specialty Cares billing department to give me info about how to pay them! These guys have been a nightmare and I will never visit them again.They also scheduled me for a follow-up visit without telling me what or why I was supposed to come in. Especially if youre going to trick me into paying out-of-network doctors, no way am I coming in for additional unnecessary appointments.

I was very pleased with my visit to MSC. I saw Dr. Chaudhary, who was very professional and thorough in addressing my medical concerns. The office is not only very clean, but it actually has a very lovely interior design. My appointment was for 1:10pm. I did not have to wait to be seen by the doctor, and I was out in less than 40 minutes. In short, I highly recommend this practice.

She is gentle, very intelligent and has professional bedside manner. She always calls to follow up on blood tests in a timely manner. Highly recommended!
