Great service, Dr. Rodriguez-Jaquez makes you feel comfortable enough to speak about anything. He doesnt judge you and from past experience some doctors usually older would make you feel uncomfortable. Dr. Rodriguez-Jaquez is young and makes you feel comfortable to share anything. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Almost died 1-2 days after the surgery in this care center. Just after the surgery Manhattan Specialty Care, I was told I might bleed and that would be OK. So one day after the surgery I was bleeding a little bit continuously for hours before I finally passed out on the street, with a puddle of blood under me.I lost lot of blood and I was taken to the closest hospital. After that I passed out 3 times in the ER and had a life saving surgery in the hospital.I contacted Manhattan Specialty Care from the ER, before the surgery so they can explain to the hospital doctor what they have done. They didnt bother responding me. But years later they are still sending me new bills.Their procedures didnt help me at all, as I was told it would, and originally in a nice way they asked me to write 5 star review here, just after the first consultation!To be fair, they all seem very kind and nice people, the personnel and the doctor, and I did like them a lot. So, for a very, very long time I hesitated to write this review. But I am realizing now how useless were the surgeries I had, instructions, and bad practices with misleading reviews they led me select them for my surgeries, the reviews they indirectly force upon you to write, as your will be on their operating bed in a few days after your review.I repeat they were very kind to me, but they have to change the following:1. You have to care for your patients even after they leave your premises. Return calls, especially in emergencies.2. You dont promise that your procedure will solve the problem, if the truth is that it might help just a bit or not at all. Check the statistics or contact your past patients that had surgeries after 6 months or a year, and find out if it did help.I saw in my medical bills that each procedure brings you $50K - $100K. You are getting rich from false promises.3. Dont ask your patients to write 5 star reviews. I know that your high ratings brings you patients like they brought me, but after you are exposed it will turn really bad for you. It might be even against the law.For the lady in comments saying Im not their patient, Im enclosing the excerpt of their recent bill.

I have been with Dr. Fathollahi for over five years. She is absolutely amazing. Attentive, caring and just an all around great physician. I love our talks during my exams. She’s such a lovely person. The new office location/staff is also wonderful.

Barely any wait time, followed by an extremely attentive doctor visit. Dr. Lee was patient, listened to everything I had to say, and presented options for next steps. She even helped me to schedule a follow-up appointment in 2 days.

I usually dont post reviews but the receptionist and Dr. Chowdary allowed me to be seen even though I was 30min late, was very much appreciated! The overall experience was very smooth as I was in and out within less than an hr!

Dr. Seibert and all of the staff at Manhattan Specialty Care were incredibly attentive, organized, and thorough. Dr. Seibert took ample time with me to collect a historical account, answer all my questions/concerns, and explain the various tests that would be done (as well as what various results would mean). Also, they can easily set up visits with specialists within their practice, which is incredibly helpful!I couldn’t be more pleased with my visit.

She apologized for my experience and said the doctor and the receptionist were new to the practice and unfamiliar with the rules and that she would work on training them. She understood that a patient should be during their appointment time and shouldnt be made to wait an hour just because another patient was late or showed up early. I appreciated Karens concern and I hope that receptionist and doctor (Dr. Roya Fathollahi) will be able to provide better service to other patients.Original review:I’m not sure how they got 5 stars. Im writing this based on my overall experience at Manhattan Specialty Care. Unhelpful, unsympathetic receptionists. A doctor who made excuses. I will never be coming back, and will tell everyone to avoid this place. They made me wait over an hour for my scheduled appointment, then the receptionist asked me to come back during my lunch hour and the doctor told me that “Next time, you should make sure you’re my first patient of the day so that you don’t have to wait.” No, that is not how you should treat your patients: You should apologize and honor your appointment... Or tell them earlier that their appointment has to be canceled so you don’t waste their time. Train your staff better. Some of us have jobs to go to and can’t spend our whole day indefinitely waiting for a doctor they scheduled an appointment to see. More details below.I arrived at my appointment a few minutes early, filled out the forms, and was told to wait. I waited 15 minutes, asked the receptionist when the doctor would be ready, and was told the doctor was seeing another patient. I waited another 10 minutes, then asked if the other patient had more than an hour with the doctor. The receptionist said No, of course not. Then how could they be 30 minutes late? Silence. I waited another 10 minutes then asked them if I could get started on blood work since the doctor still wasnt available. They said no, the technician was busy. The doctor was seeing two patients, an old couple, very important. I suggested that next time they block off two hours so the next patient doesnt have to suffer and wait. I received blank stares, no Thanks, well consider that or Sorry for the inconvenience. Amazing customer service. After 45 minutes of waiting, they asked if I could come back during my lunch break. I decided to wait it out until my appointment with the doctor - the total wait time ended up being an hour. Upon seeing the doctor, she told me that Next time, you should make sure you are my first patient of the day so you dont have to wait.” No, how about: Next time, you should honor your appointments instead of making excuses. Train your receptionists on how to handle a scheduled appointment or how to handle patients with respect.

He is super knowledgable and helpful. His assistant Kim is also really nice and helped me thoroughly through the first primary care experience.

Disappointing experience. I selected the 25th street location because of its proximity to my workplace and its hours of operation. I waited for a month for an appointment and called to confirm a week in advance. Two days prior to my appointment I received a robot text reminding me of the date and location of my upcomming appointment except that the address listed was for the Uptown location. I called and was assured that appoint my was for the 25th street location. So, you can imagin the frustration I felt whe I arrived at 25th street and was told that the Doc I was scheduled to see was at the uptown location, this after providing my insurance card and drivers license and waiting 20 minutes at which point the office manager casually approached me, apologized profusely and told me that the Doc I came to see was at the other location and offered to provide an Uber to drive me to the other location. The idea of sitting in rush hour traffic was not an option so I gave up hope that these guys had there stuff together.I wouldnt want to lump all the incompetence into one basket however, if they cant get the appointment right and they are supposed to be the support staff, a reflection of the practice as they forward face the public how can I trust that the diagnostic team will do any better? And I though why risk it?
