I absolutely cannot praise this practice enough. They are responsive, communicative, and really care about their patients. Unfortunately, I had to transfer my care to Austin. I will miss being a patient here. They are just wonderful

MFM is amazing. Went for my first baby and am currently going for my second. Love every member of the team including all the nurses and front desk. If youre looking to laugh, stay calm, and positive throughout your pregnancy look no further then Dr Melka. Ive rotated through at least half of the Drs by now and never met someone I didnt love. This place is supportive, knowledgeable, and compassionate. They never make you wait and if you do theyre very apologetic (unlike other places that dont even acknowledge when you wait). Post delivery care at the hospital is also great and theyre constantly checking up on you (and to swoon over your new Baby!)10/10 would recommend!

The office was nice and has a waiting area arranged for COVID social distancing.We were happily surprised when we were called in to the doctor room after only 5-10 min wait, Doctor Fox was on time, went through our chart and was friendly and kind.

I saw Dr. Friedman for my annual exam and pap. She was great— took the time to chat w me in her office and answer any and all questions I had. I feel confident establishing a relationship with this group, especially since me and my husbands plan to start a family is not too far off.

I had a virtual visit with Dr. Steven Inglis to discuss pre-conception and some concerns I had about a prescribed medication I had been taking. Dr Inglis was incredibly thorough. He spent a great deal of time collecting information from me about my history, health, and concerns. He then gave me direct and helpful answers to my questions and helped me set a plan. He even requested to talk to my husband to give him some tasks to help support me. I was absolutely pleased with my experience. The scheduling was easy, and everyone I dealt with was kind and efficient.

I’m not sure how this place has nearly 5 stars. I had a terrible experience here. They told me at 20 weeks pregnant to find another doctor because I wanted to give birth to my child naturally and they refused to continue care if I didn’t agree to a planned c-section. Thankfully I left their practice and was able to successfully give birth to my baby naturally at 41 weeks.

I was hesitant to go to a practice with multiple doctors, but it truly turned out to be an amazing experience. The doctors here are caring and attentive, and went above and beyond managing my care. Dr. Gelber, Dr. Aksel and Dr. Stephanie Lam were all incredible - they were super attentive, truly invested in my well-being and just fantastic to work with. Highly recommend this practice, especially for high-risk pregnancy.

This review is about my experience with Dr Friedman. On my initial appointment at MFM, Dr Friedman nonchalantly told me IVF babies sometimes stop growing and die, thats why you will be treated as a high risk patient. This comment became my biggest fear and gave me so much anxiety during the rest of my pregnancy. Looking back, I still cannot believe how such a tactless remark could be made, especially to a person with a history of having gone through many struggles to get to this point.I also met great physicians at the MFM such as Dr Aksel, Dr Shlansky or Dr Gelber but I ended up changing practices because I didnt want to interact with Dr Friedman again before or during delivery.

Angels on earth. Truly wonderful providers. Seamless care. The best of the best.

Most incredible practice with the absolute best doctors there are. Not only are they absolutely brilliant, but they care about each patient and make you feel like family. I had a wonderful first pregnancy with MFM and plan to have my second with them despite now living over an hour and a half away. It’s worth the travel to know that you and your baby are in the best hands possible. Cannot say enough good things about these doctors, nurses, technicians, and staff.

I had an awesome experience with the staff, sonogram tech, and the high risk doctor. (Dr.Foxx)However, the billing department called me the day before to tell me about my co-payment which I already knew about. I wanted an EOB before paying anything as I have that right-the billing department was so disgusting and said that’s not their policy. Transferred me to the appointment department to cancel my appointment. I was so turned off by the billing department I called my primary to try and change this 12 week scan to another doctor’s office. However-glad that I came in because the people were AWESOME! However, the billing department can use some customer experience training.

It was my first time meeting Dr. Kostant and the entire visit was hands down the best Doctor’s visit I’ve ever experienced. I spent the entire time with the doctor, I’ve never had that type of one on one care before. She was very thorough. I like many, get anxious going to doctor, but as soon as I arrived, the kind receptionist and doctor put me at ease. She and her staff are truly good at what they do and really went above and beyond to make it a positive experience.

Greatest experience since i started at this practice.i have seen alot of the providers but only Dr Aksel ever since he delivered our baby!He explained everything so clearly from beginning to end.We are so thankful!

This is an amazing OB practice. Everyone - from front desk staff to delivering doctors - are warm, thoughtful and at the top of their game. The doctors are really incredible. They spend time with you to answer all your questions and walk you through possible issues so that you have time to process and make decisions. We had a great delivery with them and can’t recommend them highly enough.

It was the best experience. All the doctors were very sweet during my pregnancy. I had stillborn one year prior and they made sure to make me feel safe the whole pregnancy. They did extra ultrasounds, doctors visits everything to make me feel better. My delivery was with Dr. Konstant and she was amazing and I’m forever grateful for my rainbow baby thanks to all in this amazing practice ❤️

The level of care at MFM should be the standard for doctors everywhere. First, I never have to wait long in the waiting room, a sign that they respect your time. The doctors Ive seen at MFM, Dr. Kostant and Dr. Shlanskey, have both been excellent, really taking their time to speak with me and make me comfortable. The nurses take their time too, whether Im calling in with questions or before the doctor sees me. I highly recommend this practice!

I highly recommend this remarkable practice! From the beginning of my pregnancy through delivery, it was smooth sailing. The doctors and staff were all incredibly organized, prepared and efficient, especially while navigating the challenges of coronavirus. Dr. Sarp Aksel, in particular, really took the time to answer all of my questions during my visits and reassured me every step of the way with his knowledge and sense of humor. Dr. Aksel and Dr. Kostant were the ones to deliver my baby and they were the perfect team – very capable, warm, professional and did a stellar job of keeping me calm. I met with Dr. Nathan Fox virtually for MTHFR pre-conception genetic counseling and to address mental health concerns, and he couldnt have been better! He was prepared with the information provided before the visit, he was incredibly knowledgable and experienced and he had a great sense of humor that calmed my nerves. We had an actual conversation! I was not made to feel guilty about things I cant control, which was a huge relief. I left with a plan, recommendations, and peace of mind. Dr. Stephanie Lam referred me to him and she herself is an absolute dream! Ive seen her over the past year and shes gentle, professional, and literally the perfect first person to deliver my future baby. The staff is excellent as well, scheduling is a breeze and theyre efficient and polite. I trust this practice like none other and would highly recommend them to my closest friends and family.

Visited the Carnegie Imaging location on Madison Ave today. All our worries were lifted. The moment we walked through the door, our sign-in was seamless. The Staff were smiling and welcoming. The Office itself was clean and well maintained. The Technician didnt rush through the process and was engaging. Sometimes, this is much needed when youre worried. I have only good things to say about this practice.All the doctors and ultrasound ladies are amazing, they listen and walk you through all of the process. I have 2 kids and if I ever decide to have a third one there is no doubt in my mind that I would come back. I have recommended this practice to all of my friends and friends of friends.Keep on coming in for my regular gyno check up.

All of the doctors affiliated with this practice are outstanding. They don’t skimp on spending time with patients to answer any questions along the pregnancy journey. They answer questions as if you are a peer vs talking down to you. I gave birth during the peak of Covid in April, with Dr Kostant, and still felt completely taken care of. I can’t say enough good things, and I’ve had some not so great ObGyns in the past before discovering MFM.

I’ve been going to Maternity Fetal Medicine since May of 2017 when they classified my pregnancy as high risk and was referred by my GYN to them. I have never had not one single bad experience from their Ultrasound offices downstairs at Carnegie Imaging to the all the doctors upstairs. Their doctors are very warm and welcoming and takes time to explain everything to you. They are also very accommodating with scheduling as well. I kept them as my doctors even after having my daughter as I went for my normal check up just the other day and I really wish I remembered the doctor I seen but she’s new to the practice and she’s just as amazing and welcoming as everybody else, front desk and nurses included.

I had a great experience at MFM. Every doctor I saw was professional and kind. The wait time was always short and the front desk staff is friendly and helpful.

So warm and nice .made me feel like a person not like a number like so many other places. Dr shelinsky spent so much time with me explaining and re explaining. She didnt sit in from of a computer typing like other doctors do. She listened to me and let me say what I needed to. The nurse was also so sweet and understood my needs. It was a whole day event for me as I live far, I got a ride and arrived 2 hours before my appointment and then missed the ride and had to walk 45 blocks to the bus but it was all worth it to have such a great experience with s Dr. Who has great bedside manner.

I had a 32 week growth scan on the day of my appointment. The ultrasound tech was amazing and we enjoyed the experience during the scan very much. That day there happened to be a procedure the doctor couldnt leave, so they ran a little late and I opted for the doctor to call me later rather than wait it out, but as a medical professional myself, none of this bothered me nor did it actually delay anything else I had to do. The doctor was polite and clear on the phone, I understood everything he said and never felt rushed. All in all, a great experience and Im happy to have been referred here!

Ive been seeing Dr Michael Silverstein for over 18 years. He is wonderful. Knowledgeable, kind, funny, professional, caring. He has a great memory, too. He is either the best actor in the world (and therefore in the wrong profession all these years) or he truly cares about his patients! Maternal Fetal Medicine is a first rate office. Everyone there is helpful, professional, kind. I actually look forward to my annual visits!

I would live to see one of this doctors, but every time I call to make an appointment I get a different info all the time. My insurance company says the doctors I want to see are in network , at the front desk say they are not , that they only take my insurance in some areas , then another person that I need a referral, hoping someone can see this and help me

MFM Associates has been a saving grace. The Doctors are super professional and dilligent with awesome bedside manner. The support staff are always so pleasant and organized. I switched over to this clinic at 14 weeks as recommended by a close friend. I must say that Ive had the best care thus far. I recommend this practice to all my friends that are having babies! Every doctor I have met is wonderful but Im particularly biased towards Dr.Melka. because she delivered my baby last year and I could not have imagined a better experience. I am currently pregnant with number two and a high risk pregnancy again. Having had two misscarriges in the past I love the security I get from this practice, I can call for any reason and someone weather a nurse or doctor will be there to hear me out and advise me. I get seen frequently and having those scans really puts my anxieties at rest. I can go on on because they are wonderful and I hope every expectant mother can have the same care I have had while being seen at MFM.

I highly recommend Dr. Santoyo for any expecting mother. She is calm, friendly, highly knowledgable and provides a level of care and compassion unmatched. She delivered both of my sons and made my minor complications easy to deal with and safe for all involved. I just had my first baby with MFM and I couldnt say enough good things about the practice. The doctors are all fantastic - and you feel valued and listened to in every interaction. Despite how busy they are, I never felt rushed in any appointment and you always met with a Doctor. The office is well-run and well organized - I never had an issue scheduling appointments and always wanted to coveted early morning spot.

Great visit with Dr. Santoyo! The office was clean and I was greeted pleasantly by the receptionist. No real wait time so I was in and out!

My experience thus far with MFM has been fabulous. I am currently 32 weeks pregnant, and have been going there since about 8 weeks. They provide excellent care--the doctors are knowledgeable and patient, the nurses are friendly and incredibly competent, and the receptionists are helpful and on top of everything. Their patient service is by far the best I have experienced at any doctors office in the past. They even handle insurance payments flawlessly (their out of pocket estimates are spot on every time). While I have not delivered yet (thank goodness!), I feel confident and reassured knowing that one of the doctors from MFM will be attending. Also, they play HGTV in the waiting room which is amazing.

I went in for a wellness exam, which I had made with Dr. Gottlieb. I liked her immediately: she is warm, smart, and engaged in patient care that considers both mind and body. Ive had a devoted relationship for years with another obgyn, and changed because of my insurance. To my happy delight, I feel that I have fond the perfect doctor for my needs. The overall office experience was stellar--humane and helpful.

I am 7 weeks postpartum and extremely grateful for Maternal Fetal Medicine Associates for caring for me throughout my pregnancy and delivering a beautiful, healthy baby boy. From my initial visit with Dr. Bender I knew I had found the right practice. The doctors were nurturing, caring, kept me informed, and motivated me to push through. Dr. Romero was with me through most of my labor. Dr. Lam-Rachlin and Dr. Bender delivered my baby. Dr. Fox and Dr. Silverstein visited me in the hospital. All of the staff and doctors at the practice were incredible.

I had a great first appointment experience at MFM, starting from the moment I got in. Not only was my wait time to see Dr Melka very short, but upon meeting her I felt comfortable talking to her about any questions I may have had. I will definitely be going back to see Dr Melka for my future appointments.

Terrible. 14 doctors in the practice. You must see all of them and will get passed around. You cannot choose a primary doctor. You must see male doctors. You have no choice in who your delivery doctor is. Phone system is shoddy, constant cut offs. Office staff is rude. They charged me $22 to fax records to my new office. Would not recommend to anybody.

I had a great experience with maternal fetal medicine. Each and every doctor was wonderful. The staff is great and never a wait time. I highly reccomend them.

I would’ve given them 5 stars if it wasn’t for their rude nurses and front desk staff. They both need a lot of training when it relates to attending to paying pregnant Patient’s needs and answering questions in a respectful manner. They dont greet you at all and the nurses hang up on you after holding for 20mins. If it wasnt for Dr. Silverstein and his MFM physicians I would not come here at all!! The first impression these staff member give you really deters a patient from even considering this practices to manage your pregnancy. If you dont mind following up with them regarding initial consultations etc then I recommend coming again only because of the physicians because the office staff is unprofessional.

Unprofessional and beyond frustrating !I had a consultation with Dr. Rebarber some time ago and I thought that he was pretty amazing . At the time he convinced me that if I was lucky to get pregnant again he would see my high risk pregnancy through.Now 8 weeks pregnant I had called twice trying to schedule an appointment with Dr. Rebarber and was told that he is rarely available and I would have to schedule an appointment with Carnegie Imaging and then schedule a consultation with any doctor at the practice in order to become a patient and establish care. I didnt think it was a big deal and agreed.Fast forward -24 hours before the appointment I get a text message that I need to bring a payment of $2850 in order to keep my appointment.Knowing that Carnegie Imaging and Dr. Rebarber participates with my insurance, I call back and ask why would they assume that none of it covered? Spoke to the supervisor who tells me that I need to schedule Meet an great instead of consultation.I agree and it seems to be resolved and my copay is down to $350 but CASH ONLY? I question it but agree and hang up although surprised that it is CASH ONLY. 5 minutes later my phone rings and they change their story saying I will be allowed to pay by credit card or a check. I thank for clarification and hang up. 5 minutes later the phone rings again and I am informed that my imaging cannot be done together with the Meet and Great because I need a referral. I tell them my insurance is PPO and I do not need a referral for my insurance.Then I am told that it has nothing to do with my insurance but it is their system that wont let them schedule ultrasound for a new patient without a referral. I explain that am not a totally new patient and maybe there is a way to override it? The girl says that the system wont let her and at that point I realized that if all this is in any way an indication of the quality of my future prenatal care , maybe I am better off some place else?I rarely write reviews and being a medical professional myself, prefer not to ever say anything bad about my colleagues.However this series of interaction with Maternal Fetal Medicine left me beyond frustrated and I hope since that they seem to care about their online presence, it will give them something to think about.Off to Cornell I go for my next appointment - it took Cornell 5 minutes to schedule my visit and verify my information and insurance.
