I’m really surprised about the ratings here… Maybe people are not really accessing this website to give a good rating; but I find my visits at this location to be very informative, comprehensive, professional, and customer attentive… Both front desk staff and back office personnel are very competent and friendly… My doctors have been extremely professional and accessible for many of my questions and if not available I simply find out on the website (NYU chart). I get this rating five stars because I’ve been coming here for years and I’ve never had an experience that was in anyway below par or negative… I feel sorry for the people who have given this place a little rating because they have experience something different.

The staff is very friendly, the waiting rooms are nice and clean, waiting for my appointment was quick, and the wait time for the doctor wasnt too bad, especially because the staff kept me in the loop.Bonus! They have their own lab for blood tests so when my doctor requested my blood work after my appointment all I had to do was walk down the hall and have my blood taken in 5 minutes! It was so quick and convenient! I didnt have to go to another facility or anything. I also got my COVID vaccine here and the during both shots the experience was super quick! All of my experiences here have beem great!

A spacious clinic but with poor service quality. Online checkin before the visit seemed to be useless, both nurse and doctor asked for the same questions Id answered online. Cold doctor and robotic nurse did not seem to care much, and only the reception desk and the lab staff were warm and pleasant. The navigation within the clinic is difficult without clear signs.

Reached late for my appointment by 10 mins due to train delay. Called before and they said its fine. But after I was there, they said they cant take me. They usually make me wait for average 45 mins. Wouldnt have traveled if call center would have told me no. They said upto 15 mins delay is acceptable, while receptionist said the call center is mistaken. Disappointed by poor communication.

They are not responsible to the words they say to the patients. and there is a mess when it comes to billing. Before my visit, I called the hospital, checked do I need to pay for a follow up video visit. The lady on the line checked my insurance and told me it’s 100% covered and I don’t need to pay anything. Then I scheduled the appointment- obviously I would not do if I need to pay anything, because its just a follow up after annual check. But after the video visit I received a bill for over $100. I believe it’s wrong and raised it to the hospital. However, after a few email and calls no one is able to solve this issue. They have a record for every phone call but they just don’t want to admit the fault of their operator, and insist that I am responsible for the bill. The follow up visit was just a 5 minutes chat and the doctor said everything was fine, and it’s over $100. Ridiculous.

The incompetence of this place is staggering. Good luck if you ever need to speak to someone you get bounced around to places that will only “send them a message” and they don’t respond to messages. And if they do do their jobs they do it only by half. I have a medication I have to take everyday. They not only didn’t send the follow up prescription but when they finally sent the prescription in they sent it to the wrong pharmacy. That doesn’t sound major. But it’s a 6000 dollar medication that can only be filled at one specialty pharmacy. They know this because they set up the original proscription. Not only did they send it to the wrong pharmacy they sent it with incomplete information so it can’t be transferred. I give up. I’ve made a good 30+ calls. Left emails. Called every single extension they allow you to call and no one will help me. “We will send them a message”

Had to call about 5 times to finally get an appointment, with people re directing to me different doctors and saying I would get a call back and then I never would. When I finally went in the doctor was nothing but rude and NOT understanding of the pain and discomfort I was going through (the nurse was great). Also tried to get an appointment for discomfort - they were booked for a week solid. If you are a female you know you cannot go a FULL WEEK in discomfort. Asked if the doctor could send me a prescription which they have done before a few months ago. It is was for very standard medication you can even order line - they told me I NEED to go in for a test or go the urgent care, so they basically just wanted to bill me hundreds of dollars for the test fees. Disgusting. I ended up calling tele-health through my insurance and they send the prescription right away. Switching my doctor. DO NOT GO HERE.

I have read some of the negative reviews posted by upset patients. I think that there might be a difference of opinion in owning your medical health. I have always owned my health and been an active participant in understanding my body and when something is wrong. Might have an advantage coming from a family that was in the medical industry. I will say that when you are a new patient with a new doctor at NYU, there can be a bit of a wait depending on the doctor (I have had to wait 5 weeks as a new patient), but once you are in the system and a regular patient there is little wait in getting an appointment. I have a number of doctors at NYU Langone and have had a number of surgeries performed at a few of their locations. I appreciate the re-confirming of your personal data - its called following procedure (would pass any audit). If you want to see complete chaos try being a patient at NY Presbyterian/Brooklyn Methodist. They dont have solid procedures and it feels like the fly by the seat of their pants - they couldnt find pre-op supplies in the Outpatient Surgery the morning of my surgery. I was asked to wait in a room that was full of chairs, essentially a storage room. Would NEVER happen at NYU Langone.I was very ill and was on the fence with a number of infections and there isnt anywhere in the US I would have felt more assured that I wasnt going to die than at NYU Langone Medical Center. No one likes going to the doctor but I have the best in their field so I do enjoy my visits - even if they are painful visits. If you need a personal reference for the best of the best: if you need an MD - Dr. Sonenblick, back specialist - Dr. Portugal, cardiologist (no one better) - Dr. Schulman. I realize that not all doctors are good/great; there was one at NYU Langone that had terrible bedside manor (maybe only with me) and I did provide my feedback, which was graciously accepted. As for the billing department - I have owed NYU Langone thousands of dollars over the years and they have always been willing to work out a payment plan that worked for me. I couldnt be happier with my experience at the Trinity location and the main Medical Center on 1st Ave as well as their office on 1st and 38th Street. We are all human, we all have bad days; I always try to verbally acknowledge that when I am dealing with others and having a bad day. All I know if you get what you give. Please be extra kind to all medical professionals for these past 13 months and going forward. They are working their bums off to keep you (collectively) alive at complete and unselfish risk to themselves.

I’ve been here a few times and normally have a good experience until yesterday. I arrived, my temperature was taken in the lobby and I proceeded upstairs to my appointment. Upon taking my vitals the nurse tells me I have a fever (even though my temperature was literally taken shortly before that and I was fine). I was then told I could not have my visit and had to have a video visit. I arrived home and decided to take my temperature with both an in ear and under the tongue thermometer and surprise surprise, 97.6. So, no, I did not have a fever and ended up traveling an hour there and back without having the appointment I waited weeks for. Not to mention the fact that the doctor tells me she only has 10 minutes for me during the video visit and doesn’t have any availability for weeks. You’re telling me in the span of time from me leaving the office to getting home my “101 fever” already had went down to 97.6? I’m extremely frustrated with this experience.

I dont know how anyone can give this place a bad review. This medical facility is fantastic. Their staff is so caring. I went there today. I went to see a lung specialist. I am having issues since I had COVID. And when I arrived I had a really bad migraine. I get chronic migraines. I was feeling nauseated, dizzy, hot and in pain. So they sat me down by a window, opened the window so I could get some fresh air and even gave me one of their paper masks to wear instead of the cloth mask I was wearing cause they thought it would be more comfortable for me because I felt like I was suffocating. The lady there came and checked on me in the waiting room to make sure I was ok.I really appreciated it. And the doctors there have such good bedside manner. They are patient kind and understanding. They listen to what you have to say, take your concerns seriously and explain everything to you in detail. Also its one stop for everything you need-doctors, blood tests, x-rays, sonograms. Most tests you can get done there. Really great place.

Horrible service with an irrationally expensive bill!I visited Dr. Kristoffer Padjen for the epidural injection for my severe lower back pain, referred by another doctor in the same clinic. He looked up the report of what the other doctor diagnosed, and told me to schedule an appointment for epidural injection at a different clinic since this clinic does not have a facility for the injection.  This was only a 10 minute conversation, and totally a waste of my time as his earliest available date for the epidural injection was 1-month ahead. I ended up going to see a different pain management doctor. However, I still received a $950 medical bill for just 10 minute talk, which is more than the bill received for the diagnosis done by another doctor in the same clinic(2 office visits + x ray).  I gave many calls to the medical bill department and offices for dispute and medical reports,  but they kept sending around to different departments, and never being able to reach the actual doctors office. They said they will leave a note to Dr. Padjens office, but Dr.Padjen or his assistant never calls back to me ( this is not only one time call, at least 4 times they said they will leave a note). Without any proper explanations, they keep sending a bill, and turn over to the collection agency, which forces me to pay or ruin my credit score.

I have been seeing Dr Elisa Rose for five or so years for annual physicals and never experienced any medical conditions outside of that where her expertise could be helpful. So about a month ago i started having this cramping pain and bloating that was getting progressively worse. I reached out to her office to schedule a visit. I assumed that since i am a patient of hers it is her responsibility to try and accommodate me in this situation. Straight off the bet they tell me she is booked for a few months. I was like, well i am having this pain i do not have 2 months can she squeeze me in even for a few minutes. They were so unaccommodating it was crazy. The pain got progressively worse and worse, i kept calling the office and getting the same middle finger. all they ever said, if it is an emergency go to ER! Well, it was not en emergency straight away and all could have been avoided easily if she just bothered to at least get me to do some tests. So i decided to wright to the doctor. she never even got back to me at all! So one day, i call the front desk and pretty much have a break down on the phone. And what do you know, she calls me! But not because she cares at all, because there is a protocol to follow and i assume she could not get out of it. She just goes through the motions, asks whats up and says just go to ER. I tell her, i just went to urgent care can i at least send you the results that you can look at? Her response - IF YOU FEEL LIKE IT!!! are you kidding! i am in pain for over 2 weeks and thats all you got? i was crushed honestly by her complete lack of care. She obviously did not offer to see me or even make an effort. There was no follow up nothing! I did end up in ER with a ruptured appendix with some complications because it was leaking for so long. I am shocked and angry and want to let anyone considering this failure of a human being as a doctor to STAY THE F AWAY and find a doctor who will be there for you not just for an annual physician because they can milk your insurance and its easy but when you really need them.

Seemed to lock on to a diagnosis in the first minute and then tried to shoe-horn my symptoms into it... thus the repeated questions: answers incongruent to his first diagnosis were not heard. This is the third time NYU has dropped the ball and wasted my time and money. They have a nice computer system but that doesnt replace the hard work required to be a competent physician.

They have cut down some of the front staff and put in more computers for check in. Service is not at the same level as before. The doctor ordered abdomen sonogram, and I tried to call the office 2 times to make appointments, all calls for procedures/testing went to voicemail and no one ever return calls. I finally went into the office and the front desk told me to go somewhere else to do the test. The reason is something like they no longer have the staff there. But how hard is it to return a call/voicemail? I chose Langone Trinity for efficient service integration and it is just not as good as before.

I was surprised to see the rating for NYU Langone at Trinity. First, the space is beautiful, calming and well kept. There are signs EVERYWHERE for EVERYTHING. And if you do happen to get lost, there is always a friendly staff member ready to help.Second, Dr. Quraishi is warm, friendly and concerned. I had truly never had a physician actually shake my hand warmly and LISTEN to everything I had to say. Because of this he was able to send me for testing and we were able to catch my condition early. Now the specialist I was sent to is a surgeon and her bedside manner was a little more cold and curt but she was knowledgeable and answered all of my questions without hesitation. There has not been at time when I contacted one of them and did not receive a response within 24 hours. In fact, Dr. Quraishi was so attentive, he called me very late in the evening from his personal phone to provide test results and explain why I needed further testing.Lastly, I have never ever had a problem getting an appointment. You can make an appointment from the APP for petes sake! The staff does encourage patients to use the kiosk and I love it. It takes five minutes and you pay the copay and boom you can wait for the doctor. I have never waited for more than 10 minutes to be seen at this location or any of the other locations including the radiology / ct scan centers. The only thing I wish they could improve on is providing better mental health services. That is the one area that I feel they strongly lack. And it is an important area of focus.

If you have any opportunity NOT to use NYU Langone (for any service), it is probably in your best interest. As a patient, I was referred to as the wrist is ready when advising the radiologist that I was prepped for an aspiration of a ganglion cyst.More infuriating is NYU Langones billing practice. They do not bill by invoice rather by statements which is NOT a bill. You are considered an open, rotating account and the computer applies your intended payment for a particular service to any outstanding hole. The problem with this system is they cross pollinate between physician services and hospital so you are in danger of being doubled billed and overpaying. There is no accountability but they sure are sorry for your inconvenience. In short, I have spent the better part of 2017 sorting out via long waits on the phone my Statements as my payments were not correctly applied. (I will be submitting my bill for my services of sorting out their billing.) My advice -- DO NOT PAY upfront any copayment, do not pay before receiving your EOB from your insurance company and when you do want to pay, pay by credit card via phone and insist on the date of service your payment is to be applied. You will then receive a confirmation number. THIS DOES NOT guarantee that your next statement will be correct BUT you have a better chance. As far as NYU is concerned, you are a billable body part -- thats all. Nothing amazing other than creative billing is happening here.

I used to praise NYU for being the best. For the past two years, they have gone to the dumps. esp. this recent handing out Doctors their name like candy. I used to go because they were very specific about who they would allow under their umbrella, and rightfully so.I have gone to 2 PCPs for a pain I have had for 4 months that I ignored because I was going to medical school myself. Not once was I offered antibiotics, which, is already questionable. So far, I found an amazing old school OB/GYN on ZocDoc who checked my ovaries and egg count without even asking! I asked an OB/GYN at NYU to check since I am 35 and around the age where risk gets higher to have kids -- her arrogant attitude + refusal to do so = ciao babyThere is one good OB/GYN at NYU that I started to go to years ago (before this mess happened at NYU) but he barely has availability.I am unclear if there is too much fear of lawsuits at NYU facilities that I cannot get anything as simple as an antibiotic. So, I will stick with old-fashioned doctors to avoid some scenarios, where, as I learned in medical school - that an individual could die or undergo severe injury if antibiotics are not administered based on symptoms before the lab results come in. I have Bells Palsy and had a few recurrences so I am not taking that risk. Lab results are a handicap to this facility, do doctors at this facility know how to diagnose an individual by mere symptoms at NYU Langone? I already knew all I needed were antibiotics so Im not sure what is going on with this organization (or disorganization for that matter) but Im not going to have a severe problem based on whatever the heck is going on lately. I am leaving NYU and searching for more independent, perhaps a bit run down facility but full of heart, something NYU has lost.

Horrible service, wait on the phone for hours, difficult to get in to see the doctor. I took my sons to the pediatricians there and it was horrible. Horrible.

The Gastroenterology Department at Trinity is extremely difficult to contact. The call number is continuously on voice mail suggesting to leave a message, which is never called back. Pls be aware that in order to make an appointment and speak with somebody you need at least half of the day of continuos calls and if you are lucky to catch somebody. It is even worth if you have a question to the nurse and need to speak to her. I was in the center three years ago. There are no paper cups on the coffee machine the same as three years ago. Either you have a melting plastic cup in you hands or enjoy machine as decoration.

Horrible, horrible, horrible! So first I made and appointment and twice in a row they called me back asking to reschedule because doctor could not see me, he was always in a rush to leave the office according to them. And this is considering I wanted my appointment at 3 p.m.!Then I finally came on my third appointment 15 min late because of traffic, which I apologized for and they said the doctor will not see me because I was late. Then they kept rescheduling me 4! times because the doctor always happened to be extremely busy on a day of my appointment , and their explanation was like: he has a wedding rehearsal party to be at, he left the office already. ( and this would be their call like an hour prior to my appointment)Then when I finally came there which I HIghLy regret, the doctor seemed in a rush and did not care to talk to me or take time listening to my problem. Then after that they sent me a bill for 380$ because they decided not to accept my hospitals covered referral and they took no time in waiting and just without giving me a chance to take care of that bill with my insurance, they simply referred it to collections department. And this was Dr. Busillo! 4th floor I believe.Worst experience I could think of and we are talking about highly competent clinic!

Terrible place my girlfriend was less then 10 mins late due to traffic and got turned away despite trying to appeal due to the many reasons we came there to see a doctor they still turned us away, terrible place to go wouldn’t recommend this place for anyone and I wish there was a way to make a complaint so that they would change the way the act and treat people because being nice and caring is not going to hurt there paycheck so showing a little compassion for their patients shouldn’t be hard to do, no one wants to go to a medical center and be treated with a nasty attitude especially when they don’t even honor their own 15 minute grace period like they are supposed to, terrible place!!!!

The wait time to see a doctor was more than an hour when you have an appointment. The service wasnt great for an NYU facility. Avoid going here if you can.

I’ve been to this office 3+ times and my experiences were all very good. My overall experience with NYU Langone is much better than Weill Cornell - easy to book appointments, very professional doctors, easy access to medical records

I went to that place to train myself for a co-worker and those people did not teach me anything, I didnt learn anything, I just lost my time only as a volunteer doing things that had nothing to do with the cosine, thanks for nothing, they just took advantage of me that is, I dont believe in anyone, because instead of helping you fuck someone, I will never return to a place like that
