Wow..I cant believe most of these reviews. I have been going to this clinic for 4 years now and the only complaint that Ive ever had was about the elevator. Other than that, everything has been great. I hardly ever wait. Doctors and staff were always very nice.

Just to make aware how the phone which is vital for information, and to assist people in locating different departments is a good thing. However the phone systems in this hospital is design to discourage the person to call: because they take forever to pick up the phone,, and then the person on the other side of the phone is nasty..I think your over worked and i would like to feel sorry for you, however since you cant help being a slave for money please do your job, and dont take it out on people who are getting care..

After reading these reviews, I have to chime in. While not perfect (the elevator is super slow & at times so are hold times on the phone), Ive had nothing but positive experiences here. Theyve been friendly, consistent, my doctor, Dr. Urbina is open, communicative -- and the front desk staff has been helpful in addressing concerns as it relates to my insurance. The pharmacy is located in the same building making it very convenient to fill prescriptions. Im certainly not making light of the issues others have had but I felt it necessary to balance out the negative with some positive. This clinic has been serving our community for years -- and for many its been their only resource as it relates to healthcare...and while I agree that the staff may be overwhelmed at the time, its only because they are working to address the needs of an incredibly diverse group of patients.

Absolutely 100% worst place for medical care. Not only did my doctor take away all my meds, but the one med she agreed to let me have is no longer needed. I feel worse now than before I started going here. if you want to get well, stay away from here.

The Dr. assigned to me named Dr. Stephen Rodgers likes to raise his voice when you dont agree with him and he just thought it was the right thing to just go ahead and change the amount of pills in 3 different prescriptions without consulting me 1st...I know my rights and he thinks he can intimidate me and take my rights away...NOT!!!! You WILL have problems with his attitude and he is NOT professional. Even the psychiatrist wanted to change 2 of my meds...NOT!!! I have issues with my HRA center and thought I would get help from the social worker there....NOT!!! So I would NOT recommend this place to anyone !!!!!!!!!!!

I was very surprised when Dr. Lloyd Bailey thought unnecessary to discuss the colors of the warfarin he had prescribed. I was taking 12.5 mg daily at the time. Although I had been using 5 mg and 2.5 mg pills to get to the total, Dr. Bailey decided to prescribe 10 mg pills without telling me. When CVS did not have 5 mg pills in stock for the same prescription, it provided half the number of 10 mgs, but without cutting them in half. All the pills, therefore, were white 10 mg pills, a strength I had never before been prescribed in the more than 20 years of taking this medication. (The many different dosages available had always differed from each other both in color and shape to help prevent over- and under-dosing, which can be fatal with this medication.)I assumed that the colors had been eliminated to reduce costs for the pill maker. Without thinking I took one 10 mg and the other which I assumed was the amount required to reach the correct daily dosage. In the blood test I had a few days later, before my upcoming appointment, Dr. Bailey warned me of my high INR but offered no solution. At the appointment, Dr, Bailey was rightly alarmed. He, however, refused to discuss why my pills now were only white, which may have resolved the problem he had created. He instead mocked me saying, you want to discuss pill color when you are gravely ill! In asking the question, I had not even understood what the problem was, much less that I had been cerated by overdosing myself. Amazingly, Dr. Bailey could find no other problems in the blood test results, yet he allowed me to leave his office with this very serious problem unresolved. Had I not sat down late that evening with my pills and the instructions I may not have discovered the dosage problem for many days, when I likely would have suffered an internal bleed which likely would have killed me. I appreciated that a CVS regional manager contacted me to apologize for error a day after reporting it to that pharmacys head pharmacist. I am surprised that heard nothing from the Cox Center or this arrogant physician who had little experience in prescribing warfarin or patients with blood conditions. I requested and was assigned a much better physician Dr. Orin Douglas. I have never again send Dr. Bailey, who I understand was transferred to another site within Mt. Sinai Medical System. Patients under his care should watch his decision making in treating conditions which fall outside his direct area of training and expertise.

After nearly 20 years with this team of providers I had to make the painful choice to leave. The doctors are mediocre and the desk staff are morons. They gave me an appointment with my primary care Dr. but neglected to tell me they where gone from the clinic. I call this an ass hole!
