My experience at Satori Laser was great from start to finish. I love that even before you go into the room where you are lasered the technician (in my case I saw Meaghan who was fabulous), gives you an extensive explanation about the laser process, including which type of laser is used for your personal skin type, how the laser works and any after care and side effects. Having Meaghan explain all of that in the manner that she did really made feel comfortable. The entire spa was immaculate and clean and the whole staff was wearing masks. Overall incredible experience and prices. Cant wait to go back and have Meaghan laser more spots for me!

For years chin hair has been an insecurity, yesterday I decided to do something about it. After researching many companys and reading many reviews I decided to go with Satori Laser. The phone experience booking the appointment was very simple and informative. I was asked if I specifically wanted Arielle (or Meagan), I said no but I now realize I should have said yes.I arrived to my appointment 20 minutes early and did my check-in. There were 2 staff members there, they were both pretty friendly initially. About 5 minutes in I received a phone call from work, the call lasted about 10 minutes as I waited for my appointment to start. I looked up and the 2 staff members were looking at me, they said they were waiting for me to start. I thought it was pretty weird that instead of telling me they were ready they just stared at me as if I was out of line for taking the call. The receptionist was pretty cool about it, the tech seemed very annoyed and didnt bother to hide it. I told her I didnt know she was waiting on me and she couldve just said something. In an annoyed manner she said she didnt want to be rude. She continued her microaggressive behavior as we sat and spoke and she asked me all the questions Id just answered on the kiosk at the check in. She then said wed go over pricing though Id already done that over the phone. It was very apparent that she was annoyed. We started the process and she continued the same behavior, at this point I just stayed quiet knowing itd be over soon. She mentioned that the area I was getting done was called the upper chin, not the chin and that the pricing was different. I told her that was fine and we could proceed. The process was virtually painless but uncomfortable tension between myself and the tech. I had already known Id simply ask for a new tech when I made my next appointment. When I got to the counter she had already spoken to the receptionist. The receptionist told me a price that was a couple hundred dollars more than was discussed. I assumed it was the price change the tech had mentioned. I took out my credit card and while handing it to the receptionist said this is for upper chin, correct? She said no, full chin. I asked if that were the same as upper and she said no and that it was more expensive. The tech looked at me as if I should have known this. I reminded her that she had told me upper chin, not full chin. She said I was correct but as she was shaving she noticed more hair going down my chin, she never once mentioned that to me.Because I dont honestly believe her behavior to me was a reflection of this companies customer service I continued to make my next appointment and specified to the receptionist that Id like a different tech. The receptionist told me that she doesnt regularly work at that location, she was just filling in. Im glad I likely wont have to deal with her again. Now Im heading to work putting it all past me. I touch my chin in excitement to surprisingly find stubbles of hair still there. I pull out my camera and see the dark hair! Amazing. Bad attitude and bad service, just my luck.Though Im super annoyed with my entire first experience Im hopeful that this was one bad experience and the others will be what I expected based on the reviews Ive read. My only issue with the establishment as a whole is that I was not informed that I should not have contact with the sun for 2 weeks BEFORE or 2 weeks after until I was at the appointment. Luckily I typically get very little sun exposure but that should have definitely been a conversation when I was making the appointment only one day before. Hoping things only get better moving forward***** UPDATE*****RECEIVED A CALL FROM MICHELLE WITH MANAGEMENT, SHE WAS SO PROFESSIONAL AND UNDERSTANDING. SHE MADE ME FEEL VALUED AND VALIDATED. Ive been hesitant about writing a review since this place feels like a hidden gem. Whoever does their scheduling is super organized, I nevercross paths with another person which is nice. The space is always really clean and Ariel is sooo nice and efficient. Definitely would recommend if your new to laser or want a new place that gives great results.

I have been to satori to have laser hair removal to my legs. I was very happy with the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. The space was clean and aesthetically pleasing. My technician Meaghan took the time to explain everything she was doing before she did it. She made the experience as painless as possible, her technique of applying pressure really helped. I have had laser hair removal at another facility and it definitely was not as pleasant. I would recommend Satori and Meaghan to anyone looking to have laser hair removal.

Best place to do laser hair removal hands down. The place is spacious and very clean. Their stair way is decorated with pictures of models, whove been to and recommended Satori. As I was walking up, it got me thinking. Yup! This is it! Once Im inside, I was greeted by a courteous and friendly receptionist. After I signed in, I got myself a cup of coffee and went to relax in clean and elegant waiting area. After my coffee, a very professional technician promptly came over and lead me to the consultation room. She was very thorough about what I want to do, which was just to do underarms, and recommended a 6 session promotional deal for new clients currently going on in Yelp. I also got a few test pulses on the arm, which contrary to what I read on how painful it is on some article, it doesnt hurt much. I guess its no joke when they say they use the top of line laser machine from Candela. Anyway, I was so satisfied, that I got the 6 sessions underarms deal on Yelp and a couple of other areas.

Highly recommend this place for laser hair removal! They have handled COVID precautions very well its always extremely clean. Ive gone to other places in the past that have not worked, however have seen great results with my treatments here. Ariel is extremely attentive, friendly and detail oriented and every session is super quick!

Awful, just awful! I was not even 7 minutes late because I was getting off work and they couldn’t take my appointment! The entire office was completely empty and nobody was in there and the front desk receptionist was terribly rude! This just happened, I repeat, do not come here. The receptionist will make you grow a mustache…EW!

I have been going to Satori for the last year and even in a pandemic they made all my hair go away! Meaghan is GREAT and very efficient but also great at her job. She’s very patient when explaining the process and gives a rundown of what to expect. There are things to squeeze if you’re bad with pain too! Everyone is helpful. It is super sanitized. I feel safer being at Satori than my own job.

Highly effective treatment and great location. Ive gotten laser at other places in the past and it either didnt work or it felt too intense and I was worried about burning. Super clean location and theyve managed the covid situation very well. Very friendly, attentive and professional staff. Ariel has been doing my treatments and shes excellent - very detail oriented and careful in her approach. She ensures I am comfortable and is happy to modify intensity based on my preference. Shes honest and doesnt oversell, and clearly cares about skin health overall - shell decline treating you if your skin has been exposed to sun or if youve used retinol, which is a good thing.

I started at their 14th Street branch and followed my technician, Ariel, to FiDi (she really is that great to work with!). I love Satori Laser and have gone to their FiDi location for 4 visits so far for legs and lower face. The results have been amazing despite the pause I took for 6 months due to Covid. I have less hair overall and shave less frequently. Their staff is patient, friendly and precise. They also have extra precautions for covid. All staff and patients wear masks, they provide gloves and conduct Covid surveys etc.I loved technicians Megan and Ariel.

My go to for hair removal by laser. The results last longer compared to waxing. The esthetician’s are also friendly and know what they’re doing. I had a great experience here getting my armpits lasered, I barely felt any pain. The laser one they use is one of the best.

I liked that there were many branches around the city, and one in walking distance to my apartment in the Financial District.The location I go to in the Financial District is very clean, and the receptionist is always welcoming. The technicians were very professional and made sure I was comfortable with every session. With every appointment, the technicians talked through the proper care of the treated area, and made sure I scheduled follow up appointments for best results.After the first appointment, I really noticed a hair reduction in the treated area. My skin was noticeably smoother! I have not worried about hair removal since starting the sessions this year. I would highly recommend Satori Laser!

I was asked to sign in, fill out a questionnaire, and sign a form which took no time at all.In no time at all I met with my technician, Ariel. She went over what I was there to have done (lower leg service), explained the process thoroughly, and answered all my questions. She offered me a stress ball to squeeze because I mentioned being super nervous. She was very calming and professional. She examined the area and used a white pencil to make marks. The lasering was fast and efficient. Afterwards she rubbed some cooling lotion on the area and I was done. It was not painless but it wasnt awful. It felt like the snap of a rubberband if it were hot. There are definite and noticeable results fast! I used to have to shave every day but not anymore!The payment process and scheduling my next appointment was super easy plus I was able to get a deal by prepaying for a package of 6 treatments. I absolutely recommend this location for great and effective service!

I started my treatments on my face in March 2019. My initial thoughts were at ease because of the reviews I read about SATORI LASER . When I went in for my consultation, I was informed thoroughly about the procedure and reassured that this step was the start of a more glowing and radiant appearance. This was indeed TRUE!!! After my 1st treatment, I noticed the hairs starting to fall off and my face had started becoming more smooth. I was worried about the discoloration still being there, but lets be honest, it didnt happen overnight so I couldnt expect the harsh scarring to disappear as so. I went on to complete my 2nd, then my 3rd, then recently completed my 4th treatment. Although it has been a short period of time, I have the best confidence Ive had in years. I am currently 24 years old, and have been struggling with facial hair and severe discoloration from ingrown hairs (which I learned during my consultation) since I was about 12 years old. Over time, the hairs became more coarse and the discoloration worsened. I felt ashamed walking around without any makeup, so I made it my duty to wear it even when I didnt feel like it. On days where I just didnt have it in me to do my makeup, I felt insecure. I would always feel like people would look at the troubled areas instead of focusing on what was being said. Sometimes even when I did my makeup, I would have people come up to me and suggest their laser technician because they were able to still notice the troubled areas. I spent an abundance of money throughout the years on waxing and threading, which only added to the problem. But after doing much research and finally being confident with my choice, I set up an appointment with Satori Laser and I absolutely love it!!! I havent shaved my face since February, which was the first time I did it after my 1st treatment and right before my 2nd treatment. The staff are amazing and very considerate. The prices are affordable. The service does wonders!!!!! I am no longer ashamed to skip a day(s) without wearing makeup. I dont flinch whenever family members or friends try to touch my face. I have this new sense of confidence that I lacked before I started the treatments. Although I am still on the road to looking and feeling the best as I can be, getting these treatments just helps the process. So thank you Satori Laser. Its only the beginning!!

This place is excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The technicians are very kind and sensitive to your pain tolerance level, especially in sensitive areas. The results really speak for themselves! I had regularly been waxing and eventually got sick of the pain and cost. I am so happy I switched to laser. Their prices are very reasonable and you can often snag sessions on sale (I did for Black Friday but they have other sales somewhat frequently). Highly recommended, wouldnt go anywhere else.

I was really nervous about laser hair removal but when I went to Satori Laser they made my concerns go away. The facility is so clean and convenient for me to get to from work. Once I was there I was greeted by the staff who were very friendly and knowledgeable. When the technician called me she took me to the room and actually looked like she wanted to be there! She was so accommodating and answered all my questions. My original concern was that it would be painful or that the machine wouldn’t be compatible with my brown skin. The treatment was a breeze no way near as painful as waxing! As far as the machine and my results I am extremely impressed. I have been there a few times and already I see great results and haven’t had to shave much if not at all in between sessions! Warning...this place is addictive! I would recommend to anyone!!!!

Ive been coming to Satori for over a year now to treat various parts of my body and have only positive things to say. The treatment is effective - sometimes even more so than expected. The technicians are professional and always make me feel comfortable. The lasering does hurt (beauty is pain!) but the technicians do their best to adjust the machines accordingly and provide aloe and wet wipes to soothe skin after treatment. No other hair removal system is as long-lasting and requires less frequent application. Satori has actually changed my life - well worth the cost!

I went to satori fidi to take advantage of their $15 underarm deal this summer and I had the best experience. Irene was great and explained the procedure and the entire appointment took about 20 minutes including check-in. The candela laser made the process seem so easy and it just felt like someone was pinching my skin gently. Would definitely recommend this place for a smooth, no nonsense hair removal experience.
