I came here in May for a root canal, and 4 months later I am still in pain with my tooth. I went back and he did a 3D X-ray, and said nothing was wrong. I really think he missed a canal. He was expensive, and would not care if I was free of pain. I would not recommend him at all.

If you think it is impossible to sleep through a root canal, think again. After more than five years of pain I had the good fortune of being referred to Dr. Iofin. Dr. Iofin is the most effective, gentle and kind Endodontist you will find. He quickly diagnosed the problem and explained the solution in a manner that obliterated the fear factor in root canals. The root canal was totally painless and I was so comfortable that I slept through most of it. Dr. Iofin is very down to earth and has a calming demeanor. The cost of the root canal was very reasonable, especially considering that Dr. Iofin is a Harvard trained doctor with very impressive credentials. Additionally, there was a very thorough follow up appointment six months later. It has been a year since my root canal and I am thrilled that years of pain have been put to rest. If you ever need an Endodontist, do not hesitate to see Dr. Iofin. You will be happy that you did.

I had a widespread infection in my left upper gum and cheek. I had this infection for 4-5 months and a previous root canal did not clear it.Dr. Iofin has all the right X-ray equipment and state of art technology for gum operations, and he knew what to do for me rights away. I had many bad experiences with dentists in the past. When I came to Dr. Poiman I was terrified of dentists. I also have a chronic nasal drip that chokes me when I lie down.
