They were able to beat the price of my regular dentist, which was amazing for being a root canal specialist. I recently received a root canal from Dr.Johnson. It was one of the best experiences I had at a dentist office. The procedure was painless and very helpful. I can’t say enough about Dr Johnson. He is the consummate professional and a caring and very patient Dr. We went through diagnostics, symptoms, options and weeks of observation before deciding on root canal to satisfy my hesitancy and a bit of fear. I’ve had the absolute best dental experience here. Everyone in the office is very courteous, kind, patient and welcoming. The atmosphere is very calm and private. Dr. Johnson is very pleasant, patient and professional and is excellent at what he does! I was skeptical because I’ve had a few traumatic experiences from less professional places in previous years from people assuring me things would be fine, to end up the opposite but I did get the root canal here and felt very minimal, if any pain. I don’t know how many people love their endodontist, but if not, they haven’t met Dr. Johnson! Part of his uniqueness is his bedside manner; from the moment I got in the chair, he made me feel comfortable and calm. You can even watch Netflix! He explained everything he was going to do, and when he did the actual root canal, he was methodical, precise, and walked me through what he was doing. His concept of “profoundly numb” made everything painless! He clearly is at the forefront of endodontics, based on his work and teaching etc. But he’s also genuinely a nice human being, with great energy. Perfect for root canals! Can’t say I’m hoping to need anymore soon, but I know I’ll be safe in his and his practice’s hands!!

Dr. Johnson - Calm, competent, careful.caring.The only way I can judge Dr Johnson’s competencies as an endodotist is that my root canal and my post for a cap that he had to build came out perfectly. No pain, not even when injecting a tubful of novocaine, relaxed enough that I fell asleep while he was drilling, and for 2 hours consistently gentle, calming and informing me of “next steps”.His office staff reflects his personality and kindness .If one needs to have this kind of rarified dental work, Dr. Johnson would be my only choice.Dr. Sandra R. Dr Johnson is amazing! If you are having an endodontic problem or a tough scenario that other regular dentists are having a hard time figuring out, he will be able tell you and explain to you in detail, exactly what is going on with your tooth.I found him to be a very caring young gentleman. He first listened to me attentively where I described him my whole history with my tooth. He then tried a number of different methods to examine the tooth. By doing so, he was able to arrive at an accurate prognosis for my tooth that many other dentists that I saw before him could not.I am so grateful for his consultation that set me up on the right path towards selecting the best dental treatment for my situation. Dr. Michael Y. Chen is amazing! It was my first visit at City endodontics yesterday and Im so glad . This is my second root canal that I’ve had performed by the truly fantastic and talented Dr. Weldon. I didn’t feel pain at any moment. Dr. Weldon made me feel comfortable and heard, it actually was kind of nice being there. After having the root canal done my regular dentist told me the doctor who had done the work had done a great job and had preserved more tooth than expected.I don’t wish anyone to need a root canal done, but if you have to go through it, go to City Endodontics and ask for Dr. Weldon! Kim at the front desk is also incredibly helpful with insurance matters.

I hope i never need to get another root canal again but if i do ill be coming back here. excellent and virtually painless care. great staff and front desk with a very clean and safe environment. i can’t recommend them enough.

This has to be the best dental office I’ve ever been to. The receptionist Kim was more than helpful & very flexible regarding payment for my surgery. She’s very professional & kind. I went to Dr Johnson because my regular dentist had issues with my root canal and I was recommended to see him. When I met with Dr Johnson he was extremely pleasant and professional explain the process along the way and was very though also he has a cool demeanor not stiff and rigid like sone doctors I have encountered. After all of the dental work I did not have any pain after all the numbness went away which was great for me. He office staff was so nice and accommodating they made you feel comfortable helping to ease the anxiety of the dental work to come. In all I would definitely recommend his services and while I hope I do not have any serious issues that caused me to go there, I would definitely go back to get treatment from Dr Johnson.

After rescheduling my appointment three times, I made it into the office today for my root canal. I read about root canals and have had more dental care and repair over the years, so I DID not want the root canal. But I got the nerve up and told myself it was necessary to move forward with my dental care plan. Playing relaxation music on my Ipod, Dr. Weldon performed the procedure which was a bit longer than I expected. (Of course, not having had a root canal previously what did I know!) Nonetheless, I knew Dr. Weldon was being very meticulous about the procedure and I truly appreciated her time and professionalism. She provided clear aftercare instructions along with analgesics to mitigate the pain when the anesthesia wore off. Dr.Weldon was the best! Thank you!

Everyone in the office is super nice and courteous. They remember you no matter how much time has passed between visits. Im a very nervous person when it comes to dentistry. I was referred by a dentist I went to get a root canal from a someone else. I went to see Dr. Marcus Johnson on a referral from a dentist friend. He was extremely patient. Everyone in the office had a calm attitude and immediately I felt at ease. He explained everything he was doing step my step.He said he didnt think a root canal was necessary at this time and he would speak with any dentist I wanted to recommend 2 fillings instead, if I wasnt feeling worse after 2 weeks. Its obvious that he loves his job and making patients comfortable is a number 1 priority. 11/10 in bedside manner. If I end up needing a root canal I have full faith that he will make sure I have no pain and I have much less anxiety about it.Also they let you watch Netflix during the procedure to calm your nerves. Dr. Dawn Weldon is an outstanding Dentist. I was referred to her for a root canal consultation after fracturing a tooth on a kettle chip. She was able to see me almost immediately on a Saturday at that. Excellent Dentist!I got my first root canal by Dr. Johnson and he was by far the most caring, knowledgeable, and personable dentist Ive met :) Not only is he precise and excellent at what he does, but he took time to answer my questions and explain to me about my case and how he would approach it from a specialist perspective. He would clarify anything I didnt understand about the procedure so that we are on the same page. Thank you for making what couldve been a painful situation and making it a wonderful, painless, treatment! The staff and ambience of the office is very welcoming and friendly. The entire experience was pleasant. The receptionist was kind and professional. So much atenttion was given to my symptoms in combination with many other aspects. Additional images were taken for a clearer image. Every step was well explained. A proper diagnosis was not rushed. I highly recommend this office.

I had to see Dr. Johnson yesterday for a root canal. It is not a procedure I was prepared for and I was very nervous. Im so thankful I went to his office! Dr. Johnson and his staff are very friendly and helpful, which really put me at ease from the moment I walked in the door and was warmly greeted by Kim at the front desk. Dr. Johnson is very knowledgeable, thorough, personable, and takes great care of his patients - he took the time to explain the procedure to me in a way I could understand. Throughout the procedure, Dr. Johnson and Carolyn, the assistant, made sure the entire experience went smoothly, checking with me several times to make sure I was not in pain or discomfort. As someone who was dreading having to get a root canal, I was pleasantly surprised at how seamlessly and relatively painlessly the whole procedure went. I very highly recommend Dr. Johnson, he clearly cares about his patients- you wont be disappointed.

Dr. Marcus Johnson is seriously the best dental specialist I have ever encountered -- believe me I have had a lot of work done over the years because my teeth are so messed up. My root canal was complex and I witnessed the amount of skill, patience, and thoroughness he gave to the challenge at hand. His passion for endodontics is present in his podcast too: Endo Voices, which yes I listened to as a patient because I was intrigued. The staff there is amazing from the assistants to the front desk --- Lily and Kim. Highly recommended.

Dr. Johnson was very professional and thorough. He gave detailed explanations throughout the process and I was never blind sided. His staff was just as professional. His office assistant was exceptional in scheduling appointments and always made sure you were comfortable. This is an exceptional team and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for an excellent endodontist.

This was my first visit for a root canal. The staff was very nice. The procedure was done by Dr. Johnson. The root canal was quick and painless I was out in an hour. I will recommend this office to my family. Five stars.

Dr Johnson and his team are amazing. I was referred by my dentist with emergency root canal right before the July 4th weekend. Understandably I had to wait but I was thrilled that the pain would be resolved before the holiday weekend.It is three weeks later and everything is wonderful. Dr. Stieglitz and the staff at City Endo were so friendly and made the root canal experience smooth, great, and (most importantly) worry free! Im 12 weeks pregnant so was very concerned about the whole process but Dr. Stieglitz and his assistant were extremely careful throughout the entire procedure-- especially when taking x-rays. And because of my pregnancy, I wasnt able to take most pain medications-- but the office assistant made it a point to call me the day following the procedure to make sure everything was fine.If you are in the unfortunate position of having to have a root canal, I highly recommend going to City Endo-- they were a pleasure to work with!

I had a great experience at CityEndodontics! I was so concerned about my front tooth and I was scared that the only outcome would be to get a root canal. When Dr. Johnson checked out my tooth he made me feel calm. Turns out after viewing my X-ray he recommended that I get a scan. Which made me feel at ease. I was happy to know he didn’t wanna rush into treatment right away like some dentist do! It gave me time to think about my decision and the staff is very pleasant!

During the Covid19 crisis I had a molar flare up with terrible pain and I had to have a root canal. Dr Marcus Johnson treated me immediately. He gave me the best novacaine shot I ever had!!! I never felt it going in!! He’s the Man!!!!

Dr Johnson is the most caring, sweetest doctor Ive met. I was nervous about getting root canals and have delayed them for so long, but thanks to Dr Johnson, it was the most painless, comfortable procedure Ive ever had! His office even has netflix that you can watch during the procedure (with a headset). I was so relaxed that I was getting a little sleepy! During the procedure, he explained every step to me along the way, made sure that I understood what was going on. I trust him with my life! 👍🏻
