Totally professional office -- from Dr. Brett, to her admin staff, to the thoroughness of their confirming of your appointment. I think I am more disappointed that I traveled 2 hours to see Dr. Brett and it was a completely use-less visit. 0 bed side manner - when she came into the room to meet me as a first time patient I felt 0 passion to want to help. I felt as if everything I was telling her I am going through it was being neglected. She basically told me to do the same thing and take the same thing that I told her the doctors were telling me. 0 new input - even phone the call with my results 0 passion in evening sounding like she cared one bit. To be honest I just felt like she was completely rude and tried to rush my visit. I will not be going back. This is basically what I get though for just googling an endocrinologist myself.

I got a high-level of certainty and expertise from Dr. Brett.I did have a great deal of difficulty completing the electronic registration process!

Dr. Brett has been my endocrinologist for the past year--Ive seen her at least half a dozen times and each time, she has been thorough and professional. I appreciate how responsive she is to web-based communication, answering my questions with clarity and concision. She also follows up on lab tests in a prompt manner, usually the next day by phone. Dr. Brett is the only physician Ive seen who personally draws her patients blood for lab tests and she makes it quick and fairly painless. With regards to office etiquette, Ive never had to wait more than 3 mins for my appointment. If I were to stay in NYC, Id continue to see her. I believe actions speak louder than words and Dr. Brett is truly one of the most dedicated and skilled physicians Ive had during my time in NYC.

The other two doctors failed a couple of times to collect enough sample from the cyst but Dr. Brett got it at the first shot. She called to discuss the results just after she received results. I was in a crisis about my health and after researching possible doctors I found Elise Brett. I was excited to see all the positive reviews and have her look into my hormone issues. BIG MISTAKE. Not only could she literally not have cared less about me and my issues, her uninterested and apparent disdain for treating me was all over her face. After her initial consultation, which was literally 5 minutes, she wanted me to get over $8000 worth of extra tests and exams. Cant afford shelling out that kind of money. But luckily she charged me over $500 just to sit in her presence while she lacklusterly hurried me through a quick consultation. By her request I had a regular blood test done which cost me just under $2000.... I wonder how much money she makes on all this?And the icing on the cake is her billing agent. Wow does she have an attitude. It actually makes sense that she works with Elise Brett as she is literally the most unpleasant and apathetic woman I ever spoken to in NY. All in all I would HIGHLY recommend that literally everyone GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Find a doctor who actually cares. Someone who actually wants to help you and guide you.... not a doctor who is looking to make as much money of you as possible and leave you with no answers, just anger and confusion.However, I was able to find a REAL doctor who actually did a full panel blood test, took time and invested in me and my health, gave me proper medication and treatment for $100....Know your options - Dr. Brett shouldnt be one of them.

The follow up Telehealth call with Dr. Brett was very rushed and I was told she needs to get off the phone to see other patients. I left the call with many unanswered questions which could of easily been resolved with a scheduled office visit.

After seeing numerous doctors and being told that my thyroid condition was now normal with the medication they gave me years ago... Dr. Brett was the only one to truly dig in and find out what was causing me to feel many constant symptoms. She was persistent and made sure to change my medication routine until we got it right. Once Dr. Brett was able to figure out all the different levels that were wrong and properly diagnosed me I felt like a new person. She truly gave me energy back that I never thought I would have. I can’t thank her enough for taking the time to properly diagnose me instead of just saying that my levels were in range so I was fine like the other doctors did. They were not the proper range for me! She is incredible!!! I only stopped going to her bc I moved to Florida but continue with her same treatments. Dr Brett was not helpful in evaluating my complex endocrinological problems. She was not able to diagnose or help relieve my symptoms. The other endocrinologists I have seen have definitely spent significantly more time with me evaluating my complicated medical record, asking questions about my history snd symptoms, and trying to help me. Dr Brett did not seem interested in my complicated issues, which is as very different reaction than I have experienced from all other doctors I have seen. On a comparative basis,. Brett seems to lack the intellectual curiosity I have encountered with other seasoned medical professionals. I was disappointed with my appointment and unfortunately felt that Dr Brett was a total waste of my time.
