The staff was very rude and not welcoming. This area is located in Chinatown and the staff made me feel like it was just for Chinese residents exclusively. I will not be coming to this Quest Diagnostics again and I recommend all other POC not to either.

Quick and speedy, no fuss at all. Minus one star for the lack of communication, lady with tattooed arm literally used her hands to communicate with me 👆👇👉👈✋and she actually guided me through the whole sampling process; kinda rude, but very impressive 👍

I don’t know why this place is rated so low. My experience was great. I often faint whilst having blood taken and quite often that can be dismissed but the nurse who took my blood was kind, professional and took it seriously. It was completely painless. The booking system is streamlined and as I checked in on my phone coming out from the elevator my nurse was waiting for me.

Maggie was kind and the blood draw was quick and painless. She put me at ease during the procedure by chatting with me and distracting me. Excellent services from her. There was another Asian lady in the back room and she was a bit harsh with her patients. I can hear her being frustrated with her patients and Im glad I didnt get her. She was in room #4 I believe. I will ask for Maggie next time I go there.

This is the ONLY Quest office that asks me to verify my name on the blood tubes after the technician put the labels on them. I used to go to west 14th street and those workers were rude and unemotional. But the technicians here are so different. I cant remember her name, I think it was Margaret, she was very knowledgeable, answered all my questions. Understandably, there were some questions she cant or not allowed to answer and referred me back to my doctor. Professionals.

Went there for my COVID pcr test twice. Instructions were clear on how to self collect. She let me check my name etc before giving me instructions. 👍🏻 Professionals.

Extremely rude, NEVER let me double check my name on the tubes, lack of professionalism, NEVER ask my questions regarding the procedure. Maybe it is just the staff working room4, but idk, highly NOT recommended

Overall, good experience with the service. However, the person drawing blood had bruised my vein, causing my arm to be in pain whenever I bend my arm.

Staff is rude and unhelpful. I don’t want to name any names but let’s say her name started with an M. She was very rude, unhelpful, and lacked empathy. Obviously this place lacks professionalism and Quest should train their staff better. Will not be coming back! Would be a negative score if possible.

Yin is AMAZING! I can not say enough good things about her. She got my vein right away with no poking, no bruising and NO PAIN. My veins have always been hard to find and I often leave with bruises up and down both arms after numerous failed attempts. I will never get blood drawn anywhere else. I was in and out in no time. Office was extremely clean. I would leave 100 stars if possible.

Excellent office! Took my son there to do his allergy bloodworks. They treated him with professionalism. His blood draw was quick and painless. It is best if you make appointment. And just remember bring your doctors order with you. I read a negative review about this issue and I find it very unfair to those fine people working there. Look, it is your responsibility as a patient to bring your own information. Quest Diagnostics is a testing lab, they are not a Fedex/UPS kiosk. They do not have the obligation to print anything out for you. Be an adult, do your part. And stop blaming other people. Even thought we had appointment that day, we still had to wait 5-10 mins because they are busy. I doubt they have time to do your printing job for you. So please print it in advance.

I was at this location a couple of days ago. I have to say this is the best Quest Diagnostics location I have ever been. All you have to do is make appointment, go in, sign in and take a seat. The technician will come out to get you. The facility is bright and clean. The technician who helped me was very friendly and knowledgeable. She answered all of my questions with confident. The process itself was quick and painless. She even called my doctors office to verify a test that was not clear on the paper I brought it. The room was very relaxing and not at all intimidating. Her dog pictures was funny and actually distracted me during the process! I will return to this location next time I need any bloodwork. Good job Quest for the excellent services you provided.

I have visited several other locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn and Ill have to say this location is the best. It is busy at times yes but at least you can see the nurses are hard at work and not chatting on the phone! This office is very clean, bright and organized. I have never visited on the weekend so I cant comment but the few times I was here the services I received was excellent. Employees are very knowledgeable and professional. Excellent location!

I would just like to mention that my father has a special bond with a specific tech there ever since two years ago, after his heart transplant. He would not let anyone else help him except Maggie. Whenever I have the time I would accompany him to the lab, I can see that she is a very compassionate person. Whenever its not too busy, she would always take time to encourage my father to get better, to explore life. She would joke with my father, who is a very stern person in general and hug him before he left. I am very grateful that every time my father left, he felt a little happier. That is why I dont understand the poster Mr. Eddie Eng, and his comments. Calling a person POS, no less a woman, shows what kind of person you are. Therefore, I sincerely doubt you were polite and courteous to her during your visit. I however, do believer you have some serious anger issues that you should work on. Do not use them as your punching bags. They did not make you go for the urine drug test. I wouldnt be spending my time writing this comment if I hadnt know Maggie. And I know she is not the type of person you described. Get out of your head and work on your issues kind Sir.

Walk-in patients can easily sign in with a kiosk. You can make appointments but you don’t need to have one.They process people fast.

Excellent location! Everyone was quick and efficient. My nurse Maggie was very knowledgeable. Her dog memes really did relaxed me and the procedure was rather painless. I will definitely go back again!

I normally dont write reviews but I have to say the lab technicians here in this facility are amazing! In particular, I want to write about a person named Maggie. I had to get lab tests done and drew about 10-12 tubes of blood. I nearly fainted from the anxiety and shock of all the tubes drawn. I almost threw up on her but she took care of me. She guided me to the bathroom, stayed with me, and checked on me until I wasnt dizzy or pale anymore. Even after I left the office, she followed after me and made sure I was ready and able to get home safe. I am thankful for her assistance, her kindness and her funny small talk. It was much needed on a rainy day like today.

I made walk-in appointment, waited 10 min, and they took me in pretty fast. The lab technician was very helpful and friendly. Everything took like 10 min to get it done. Clean nice place.

Staff extremely unhelpful and unprofessional. My doctor emailed a requisition form and they would not accept it, even though it is standard practice to receive electronically. They insisted I get the file printed but would not allow me to print it onsite, even though they have a printer and computer there. I wasted an hour of my workday and wasn’t even able to get my bloodwork done

Brought my two young sons to this location for their blood draws, Maggie was very nice and patience with them. She constantly talked to my kids to distract and reassure them. The blood draws were painless and my kids left happy. This is everything to a mother. She was very professional. I am very pleased.

My technician Maggie was extremely efficient and professional. The dog pictures in her room was funny and relaxing. Will definitely return to this location next time.

It was a busy office but everyone was very professional and efficient. Just remember to make appointment or you will be waiting for a long time! I have already seen a few people got angry because they werent called in, mostly Asian patients maybe because they dont know how to work the appointment system??? It was a little rushed but it is understandable as they were a lot of patients in the waiting room. I know they are doing a good job because my tech double checked and updated some information with me before drawing my blood, and then have me check it again before I sign the documents. Make sure you bring your doctors order and your insurance card with you. I will definitely recommend this location to my friends and family!! - recommended.

Remember to book an appointment and bring the paperwork your doc gave you (even if they tell you you dont need it). Maggie was great at checking me in, figuring out my insurance info, and most importantly drawing blood! I have small and hard to find veins and my doctors office tried three times and failed. Maggie had to avoid my battle scars but got it on the first go. What a professional. Im definitely coming back here for my future bloodwork. I came on a weekday morning.

This location is currently closed. I arrived in front of closed doors last week. Very disappointed.

This was an unhappy moment with a very unskillful and impatient nurse , who put her niddle one or two times , but haven’t get in the vessel successfully .one or two times later, an unwillingness to change the other arm of my mom . she looks very arrogant to us. Wishing do not came back here again .

The staff on the weekend shift is unprofessional and lack of efficiency. An appointment was scheduled for 10:15a. It’s been over an hour. The check in screen has shown the process was completed yet he claimed to see no record and accused us of not doing the right steps! The staff could’ve just said “Sorry, I couldn’t retrieve your record. Can you fill in you information again?” It’s just a urine sample test. It takes this staff more than an hour to handle 3 people with similar requests. You basically just give the patient the container to pee, collect copay and label the container. After 2 hours, they finally admitted there’s an internet issue affecting the system. But no apology has been offered.

Brought my son there for blood draw. Quick and efficient. Very good experience.

This location is ridiculous, received confirmation of online appointment for 8:30AM, but the office still close at least from 8:00 to 8:40AM. About eight people still waiting outside the office from 7:30AM.

I didnt have the best expectations after visiting the creepy basement location on West 16th St. a couple of times, but I was very mistaken. It is clean, well kept, and appears to be newly renovated. There were a fair few people in the waiting room on a Saturday morning but I was seen quickly. The phlebotamist, who was very kind and thorough, had no problem getting into one of my very thin and difficult veins on the first try - no bruising at all!I was impressed - highly recommended.
