Dr. Briley has been my dermo for a very long time. I left NYC near 4 years ago, moved 100 miles north. There are plenty of docs nearby but I feel strongly that Dr. Briley is well with the trip twice yearly. Competent, careful and caring. I highly recommend Dr. Briley. And his staff? I see some negative reviews that completely surprise me. The staff is consistently, friendly, accommodating and professional. Theyre the greatest.

Staff is amazing and dr. Briley outstanding. I had a thorough skin examination, wait time was minimal. Then I had to transfer my patient data because they no longer took my insurance, and the lady at the front desk went out of her way to make sure the transfer happens. I was very impressed by the level of care. Highly recommended.

I have been a patient of Dr. Briley since I was 22 years old and Im now 31. This man is great at what he does. Hes skillful, smart and has so much knowledge with cosmetic dermatology. I would NEVER trust another person to touch my face. I have suggested him to numerous family and friends who continue to use him and will never go elsewhere. I can not say enough amazing things about Dr. B. I consider him more of a friend than a doctor. Hes truly one of a kind!

I have been going to Dr. Briley for several years, and have always found him to be knowledgeable and friendly. Not sure where the 1-star people are coming from, but Ive always found his office staff to be very courteous both on the phone and in person and helpful even when Im trying to get a last minute appointment. Clean and modern practice. Hes a good guy who knows his stuff, has helped me with a variety of things from general checkups (sun exposure) and skin irritations.

The staff is lovely. Both doctors are kind, patient, and dedicated to helping you find the treatment that works best for you. They are also very charismatic! The two people at the front desk are lovely as well, so kind and helpful!

The doctors here are experienced and knowledgeable! No long waits and prescribes the correct medicine. I had a toenail that wouldnt grow correctly without fungus for 3 years. I thought the nailbed had been destroyed after that long period of time. He provided me with the medicine that resolve the issue within seven months or so. I will post pictures before and after.

I FOUND DR. JAMES BRILEY TO BE MOST KNOWLEDGEABLE. AND COMPETENT. HE TREATED MY SECOND DEGREE BURNS AFTER CANCER AND RADIATION. HE ALSO SAVED ME FROM AN UNNECESSARY SURGERY FOR A CYST.

Dr. Briley is the best! I’ve been seeing him for about a year now and my skin has never been better (I’ve tried just about every skin medication and treatment in the books). He prescribed me spironolactone which has cured the acne I’ve had since basically the day I hit puberty, as well as some topicals for my scarring. I never have to wait long to see him, and I don’t feel that our appts are rushed. The front desk is extremely kind, it’s easy to get ahold of them over the phone, and their office is a beautiful modern design.

I got my cheeks and nose burned to the raw flesh. It will take months to heal, all because I was incorrectly prescribed a cream for skin cancer for my minor sun spots !!!!!!!! I applied for the first time at night and in the morning I had red patches and massive blisters caused by burns from the cream!!!!! Another dermatologist has confirmed that I was prescribed the wrong treatment. Avoid this practice at all costs.

I was refered to this doctor by the primary physician. And i couldn’t have been more upset about a doctor’s appointment. I have been experiencing hair loss which was my reason for going. I first sat with his assistant which asked me a couple general questions about myself and very vague questions about my hair loss. When doctor Briley entered and examined me.(If you want to call quickly looking at the top of my head and pulling a couple strands of hair an examination) then told me i have female pattern hair baldness which is Genetic.(keep in mind i have no one in my family that is balding so I question that) Then he showed me a picture of the different stages of female pattern baldness of which he did not distinguish what stage I am in. Just said that There is nothing that can’t help it just use Rogaine and shampoo that he was going to prescribe me.(The shampoo that was prescribed is meant for dandruff of which I found out by doing my own research not by him telling me what it was for and i dont have dandruff )From the moment he came into the examination room and out took less than around seven minutes. I do not feel like he was thorough nor did he want to comfort me or give me a broader exclamation on exactly what was his diagnosis. I tried to ask him questions and give him a little more back ground about my hair and i kept getting my questions turn away. I do not Recommend him. I am going to a second opinion else where.

This place is the worst office I have ever been to. First of all, the staff at the front desk cannot be more cold and rude. They do not care about making the office seem friendly and nice. Having them answer a question feels like they are in pain. Terrible costumer service. Then the doctor that I saw me kept asking me about MIAMI and why I moved from there to NY. He didnt even took a look at my face then disappearing he sent his assitants of nurses and they could not even take a pimple out... it was really frustrating that i went to check up on my strong acne and just received an annoying doctor that just wanted to talk about Miami and parties instead of my actual medical acne.Wont be going back there ever and Im hoping no one is. They really dont care about the patients.

Been going here for months and nothing was making my problem any better in fact he recommended some shampoo for the head to put on my face and chest it was the worst allergic reaction I ever had that my whole face was cover in nasty small irration bumps and it made my problem way more worst now . Im currently still looking for a new place to go . Anything is better then this place
