Just had my first visit. I was impressed by Dr. Karps warmth, and willingness to listen attentively to my concerns. She was also very professional, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend her!

I have been going here for years and I love them. Thorough and informative. They actually answer my questions and make me feel listened to. Because they are so good I dont avoid my yearly check ups.

All staff were attentive and friendly. Although there was a longer wait than usual (hence the four stars) they were apologetic and efficient when it was my turn. As always I was impressed with the caring attitude and expertise of the professional staff during my exam.

I was at the Bay Ridge office location for an appointment and then a follow-up and saw the Physician Assistant. While she was pleasant and thorough, taking time for questions (2 stars are only for her time and service), I found the office to have extremely poor social distancing measures and Covid safety protocols in place. The waiting room was PACKED and several waiting patients were not wearing masks properly, coughing, no hand sanitizer in view, no ventilation. Nobody on staff asked people to adjust their masks, etc. Additionally, on my first appointment, I was kept waiting over an hour and found the reception staff to be quite unhelpful. When I was finally shown to a room, it appeared to be a storage room, with a huge pile of boxes and random things strewn behind the patient chair.On my second appointment, again seeing a full waiting room, I opted to wait outside (in 40 degree weather, which felt safer) and again waited nearly an hour (50 minutes past my scheduled appointment time). Unfortunately, I will plan to seek a different provider for future needs.

Dr Brancaccio is an incompetent practitioner. My girlfriend came to treat vitiligo and he assigned phototherapy treatment for a whole minute(where usually patients are started off with 10secons total). She got severely burned over her whole body and was in pain for 3 days and her skin was peeling for the whole week. She never burned so much in her life and with an underlying skin condition it is very dangerous for her. It is unbelievable how a trained dermatologist could cause so much damage, Im incredibly disappointed in Dr Brancaccio.

1st time going and Im switching my dermatologist lol. I found the service to be quick but not rushed i got a lot of helpful tips and every step was explained thoroughly in accordance to my skin type. It was the pleasant interpersonal experience for me🙌🏾

I’d give more stars if I could! The office is nestled on Perry street in the heart of the West Village and is truly a hidden gem. Dr. Karp and her whole team are great. I went in for an unusual new mole on my leg, being fair skinned and covered in moles freckles and birthmarks, Todd recommended a full body scan since it had been almost 20 years since my last dermatologist visit. Dr. Karp agreed and thorough checked me from head to toe recommending biopsy on the one I’d identified as well as one on my shoulder that was a bit of a nuisance and gets irritated every time I train heavy squats and the bar causes abrasions across my upper back & shoulders.I got a call early the following week that the results of the leg biopsy were abnormal and recommended to remove a larger section of the surrounding tissue. I was able to get an appointment just a few days later and the procedure was a breeze.I particularly liked that Dr Karp was very communicative with both me and her medical assistant, explaining why she was suturing in a particular way and reason for certain techniques. I think it shows a lot about a doctor when they’re actively working to educate their team rather than just barking orders at their staff. It helped to create a very positive environment and put me at ease during the procedure.10/10 recommend!! And I’m looking forward to trying her skin care line when it becomes available. I have confidence that the same quality of care Dr Karp exercises in treating patients will be dedicated to developing high quality products.

I have tried another dermatologist office and came back to SINY.My only complaint is I sometimes have a difficult time finding an appointment time that works with my schedule.

I was looking for a dermatologist who would take care of my skin condition. I went to SINY and I was disappointed. First it was hard to find. The office was not clean. I was seen by a PA, not a doctor and he told me all was fine that I was doing and to come back in 1 year. I kept suffering with my skin condition and finally went to a different dermatologist, Dr. Tracey Liebman, who did all the right things and found the correct treatment for me. I am no longer suffering, which is great and Dr. Liebman really helped. I would definitely not go to SINY again and will not recommend any of my friends to go there.

I have been at the Bay Ridge location a few years ago and was seen by Dr. Gruson who is very good but unfortunately no doctor at this location takes Fideliscare Gold but I was told Dr. Karp has hours at the West Village location and she takes my insurance. I saw her twice and I have to say she is great. Took all her time with me and also followed up with me with a call on Saturday to see how I was doing since I left a message on the website.which I did yesterday. My parents have seen Dr. Brancaccio on and off for years and he is also excellent. I recommend SINY.

I went to dr Anna karp for some acne problems I had been having and I just went for a consultation which didnt even last for 5 minutes and she looked at me and just told me you need accutane. My acne wasnt even that bad that I would need that extreme treatment I didnt do it and I went to another doctor and I was able to get rid of my acne with less drastic treatment

The staff is helpful, professional and pleasant.

Wait time to be seen was minimal. All of my questions and concerns were addressed during my visit.
