Very nice staff, but they overcharged me for a service I didn’t feel happy with. I clearly asked for a double color (bleach, then dye) when I made the appointment, and the salon quoted me $90-$120. Upon paying, they charged $156 and a $30 tip. The color was also way off from what I asked for despite showing a picture. Would recommend another salon for coloring.

I got an absolutely fabulous haircut from Joselyn D. She helped me prepare a ponytail for donation to locks-of-love, and then gave me a super cute cut that angles down in front. Ive gotten many complements on the cut since I got it! I highly recommend Joselyn!

I have not had my hair in a salon for years. And I am so elated I came to LeVali Salon! I came to the salon on a busy Thursday. I was welcomed by the receptionist who took my temperature. She made sure mask is worn by everyone. I was early for my appointment but still seated me in my stylist chair. My stylist Alex is the best! He was able to create a whole new hair. He walked me thru the process. He made me a while new women! Thanks Alex!

Was on our way to cut our kid’s hair at a barber when we saw this place. Loved it. They made room for three kids and my wife. Prices were reasonable and the service was courteous. And, the have cappuccinos while you wait! The kids came out fabulous. I will definitely recommend this place.

It’s been almost a year now of coming to Laveli Salon, where the wonderful Tanzina has been cutting my hair every 4-5 weeks or so. On my first visit she happily spoke with my former stylist (who moved out of town) to learn about my haircut and has been performing magic ever since. The salon is welcoming, friendly and in a fantastic location. It is a pleasure to visit knowing you will be treated as a special guest. That goes for everyone.

I have naturally curly, thick hair, and Angela gave me the best moisturizing treatment I have ever had in my life--for only 45.00! Plus, she gave me the best scalp massage I think I have ever had also. Great salon and atmosphere. Ask for Angela for a moisturizing treatment, and you will not be sorry. I will be back!

Of all hair salons I’ve been to, ever, Laveli Salon is hands down THE best. All the stylists there, especially Oded, are incredibly talented. I will never let anyone else touch my hair. I’m lucky to live in the neighborhood but recommend this place to anyone in the city!

This place receives a 1 star from me because of its receptionist, the rest of the staff is lovely. I usually dont write negative reviews but I need to share this so it doesnt happen to other people also. In short, the receptionist charged me double the price of what we had agreed to for the service and was very rude about it when I obviously was not OK with it. She wouldnt accept the agreed amount despite her admitting a communication error. If you look at the other reviews here and at Yelp you will see that this has not just happened to me. Stay away!The long story:I have a little baby boy who needed a little haircut. I went to the Lovella West salon and asked what they would charge for a baby haircut. The receptionist and hairstylist were nice about it and said they usually charge the price of bang trim as its only a baby haircut. We were happy with the service and paid the agreed to amount. A few months later my babies had grown long again and was annoying his eyes so I asked my husband if we could stop by the Lovella salon for a few mins. We went in and the receptionist was there again. I asked if they had availability by any chance and if we could have the same service, charged as a bang trim like last time. She asked a stylist and they both said it is fine. After the service I went up to pay and suddenly the receptionist wanted to charge me double the price. Obviously I was surprised and asked why. She said the service was longer than she expected so she is charging a full haircut now (it was not even 5mins!). I told her that she cant just charge double the price without any communication. The stylist was perfectly aware of the service and agreement and had no issues with it either. Then she said the stylist used different scissors so it is more now and started showing me price lists etc. I insisted on paying for the agreed service and price but she got so angry with me and I upset in the process that I asked to speak with the owner. I couldnt come back on the day the owner was in the salon next and she didnt have a card of the owner, only of the store so I asked her to let him call the number they had on file for me. Weeks past and no one called me, I went by the salon a few times but the lady was always there and I was scared of the confrontation with her and when I called she was always on the phone. Today I took all my courage together and went in again as I just wanted to close this and pay for the agreed service before I am moving abroad. Unfortunately she showed the same behavior but admitted that it was a communication error after some discussion. It would have been totally fine for her to say that the agreement of the first visit was a one off and XY is the price but she and the hairstylist agreed to the same service and price. I told her I just want to pay for the agreed service and settle this matter. She agreed that it was a communication error but told me the owner of the place is now aware so now she cant charge the agreed price anymore. I said that I would do her a favor and pay for the full amount plus tip even though it is not right but then we can settle this matter here and right now since I am moving away. Then she suddenly said that she cant accept payment because her credit card machine is down and said she wants to leave it this way whatever that means. I told her I have cash. She still tried to find reasons to not accept payment but I paid her anyway (image attached) and left.I dont understand why any business would want to treat a customer this way especially if it is a communication error on their side. Needless to say I wont come back and neither my 2 girlfriends that used to come here.

Got a blow dry here with Alex and have I never been more self-conscious of my hair. My roots were flat and greasy, with hairs flying up around like grass or antenna at the top. My hair was untamable and would bunch up together in strands that made it look unflattering. My parting extending in straight line until back of my head added to the greasy and flat look. Despite that I invested money to look more nice for an important event, it ended up being far worse than if I were to do it myself. Its my first time when I wanted to wash my hair so badly after a blowdry

Management is HORRIBLE and haircut is not worth the experience. Started out great. The woman who washed my hair did a good job and was friendly. Ronen cut my hair. It was an average at best haircut. He wanted me to sit and let it dry so he could see if it needed more cutting when it curled. He never came back and checked. I got up and went to pay only to find that a haircut without blow dry despite being on their website and printed at the desk where you pay the woman said it isnt a service and haircuts are charged with the dry even if they dont blow your hair despite there being a LISTED price range for a cut without a blow dry. Management tried to tell me I was wrong but their website and PRINTED PRICE LIST has a cut without a dry. Needless to say I wont be back and unless you like over paying I would advise you stay away.

Great service! Laveli Salon is a neighborhood gem.I found out about them through google and yelp and have recommended a lot of people to them. Prices are very reasonable for the quality work they put out. Theres great talent here and everyone is friendly and welcoming. Oded has been cutting my hair for over a year, and my friends and family now go to him for blowouts and color as well. He does a fabulous job as with the rest of the staff when he isnt available. Dont forget the delicious cappucinos espressos - on the house!
