Definitely the best salon I have found in NYC in over a decade. Zoe is amazing, I have always had trouble getting a haircut I love, and she listens and really gives a client what they want. I have long hair and its hard to find a stylist who isnt scissor happy. The location is beautiful and Cesar at the front desk is so kind and lovely. They have great hair products that they offer and use, but dont push on you. I have had my hair colored there as well and its gorgeous. I would highly recommend to anyone immediately. 💜

Finally a place where they understand curly hair. Ive spent way too much money on a disappointing blow out that got frizzy by the time I got home. This place made it look so nice. Also I had ruined the color at home and Caitlin fixed it so well. Cost a lot but definitely worth it.

I had not had color for about 4 months. I chose this salon and hairstylist based on a photo on their Yelp site. When I called to make the appointment I told the receptionist, I wanted the stylist that did that color. I assumed the photo was of a salon customer. Never assume. The worst color I have ever received. A woman from Staten Island, I believe her name was Christina, told me she could recreate the photo I chose on my hair because it was her client. Literally 6 hours of staring at a moldy leaky ceiling, foils, processes, she insisted on, listening to her anti vaccination politics. The experience left my hair very green and dry. Not to mention $500.00 price tag of ruining my day and hair.

I had a great experience getting my hair cut here. Caitlin was really nice and helpful. She gave me good advice about what I should do with my hair and listened to my suggestions. It came out great! The salon is very clean and I felt comfortable almost immediately. I would highly recommend Bloom Beauty Lounge.

One hundred percent coming back ! the salon itself is beautiful and does a great job maintaining COVID safety procedures. my stylist Gigi was kind, thoughtful, talented, and lovely. Gigi did a wonderful job working with me to figure out a hairstyle that not only looks good now but will grow out well and evenly. This salon advertises itself as a place that knows how to cut curly hair and MEANS IT.

Great Salon, great service and follows COVID protocols. I love that they have stylists that know how to work with many different hair types. My hair is really curly, and Shasta was amazing! My sis had an appointment too for a cut, and her hair is short and curly, GiGi listened to her and did exactly what she wanted. Definitely coming here again!

The staff is nice and the space has been welcoming and clean before and during the pandemic. They have proper safety measures in place that make me feel very comfortable during my appointments and the atmosphere is very calm/relaxing. If you’ve had hesitations about going into a salon during the pandemic, I would definitely suggest you consider this salon.I also recommend booking with Ronquet to anyone who needs a proper trim on natural curly hair. I won’t let anyone else cut my hair again!

Lena @hairbylenaz is amazing. I get partial balayage and a cut. She does a fantastic job and her blowouts are smooth, voluminous, and last for days. The salon is friendly and welcoming.I have been coming for a few years now, never disappointed. I get compliments right up until I have my next appointment which is usually every 6-7months.

Jordyn is an amazing colorist! it’s so hard to get a good natural dark brown (my hair tends to go brassy) and she nailed it! Great experience.

Amazing experience! linda did a fabulous job on my balayage and cut. i couldn’t be happier with the results! linda truly is an expert on curly hair and color. she took the time to understand what i wanted and gave me suggestions on the color and cut that worked for me. she walked me thru the entire process and would check to make sure i agreed with her decisions. linda’s level of attention, detail and knowledge is incredible. she even gave me tips on how to style at home and recommended products to use. the salon has an easy going vibe and is clean. the staff is very friendly too! i highly recommend bloom, especially linda!

Claire was amazing and helping me set my appointment and work with me on a style that I wanted. She set me up with Justin and my cut is phenomenal! He was very thoughtful and sincere through the process and gave me the exact cut that looks perfect for my face.Carlos shampooed me and did a wonderful job! So relaxing and thorough. It was such a nice experience.The highlights he did on me are so good I cannot even explain. It says that he is a specialist in brunette and red, however I had him match my silver natural growth to some old honey toned highlights and the result is so incredible! I have never looked so natural and had the perfect balance in my hair that makes the tone incredible for what I was looking for.I highly recommend Bloom beauty bar!

Been a customer for hair services for 2 years. I have gotten haircuts balyage and partial highlights. Each of those services by various stylists have been great. No complaints! The hospitality is top-notch from the receptionist down to beverages offered such as tea. I feel welcomed in this pretty salon and plan to continue to attend. Ive been getting my hair cut and colored off and on at Bloom for years. But today, blew me away. I saw Jordyn Bombard for a cut and wow...she took so much time with me and explained everything that she was going to do and why. I told her I wanted to grow my hair out a bit so she cut it in a way that looked good but also had the ability to grow out. Im so impressed with her professionalism I can wait to go back and get my hair colored. I have a very specific type of blonde and based on our conversation, I know she will do an excellent job. If you are looking for an amazing stylist and colorist, ask for Jordyn. You will not be disappointed.

Highly recommend her for guys that want a current/modern look. This salon is big on hair education. The overall experience was great. Definitely will go back.

Ive been going to Teddy since she and I both lived in Austin. I moved up here about a year before she did and when I went in for the first time she noticed a change in the texture of my hair. Until she mentioned it I hadnt even thought about it, let alone notice it. Needless to say, I was impressed she could remember something like that.Shes really skilled at what she does and keeps my very thick hair well groomed and feeling light. Shes also a lovely person to chat with and really easy to talk to while youre in her chair.I highly recommend Teddy and Bloom Beauty Lounge!

Christina gave me an amazing single process color and balayage highlights and Prestons cut is one of the best Ive ever gotten--ask for both of them! Theyre both so easy-going and professional, and will put you at ease from the minute you meet them! As a born and bred New Yorker, I can tell you: its not easy to find an amazing salon in NYC. Love Bloom! This lounge is wonderful. Everyone seems to be on point. I met with Sal last week and although I could not get the treatment I wanted due to the damage currently on my ends, I appreciate the fact that I was told that. So instead I got a haircut with Gigi, who is an absolutely awesome! She took her time with my biracial hair and I got a really great cut on my head right now. Gigi, is very informative and wont steer you wrong. Talk about travel and your time will fly by. Clarissa & Claire are great as well. And Ceasar, well hes just adorable. The aura at bloom is comfortable, friendly and warm. Thank guys for making me so comfortable with such an antsy issue, my hair, LOL. I will be back! :)

Ive had balayage done by Paula and Preston and they were both amazing. They also give the BEST shampoos that will put you to sleep because its so relaxing.

I have curly hair, which not everyone cuts and styles well, but Justin was terrific! The salon is cute and the staff is very accommodating. This was one of the best curly hair styles Ive had. Def on par w Devachan or Ouidad, at least as far as Stylist Justin is concerned.

So I had just got married oct 8th and we went to NY for our honeymoon and wanted a NY Haircut experience so I went in there planning on something new and I got what I was asking for! PAYTON!! I moved to NYC five years ago and had just been getting trims. It was time for a real haircut and after much research, I ended up booking an appointment for a drastic change with Teddy. She was great. Since it was my first time working with her, she was very conservative with the cut…making sure not to cut too much off, and then gradually working with me to get it exactly the way I wanted. She also got my style and made sure it had a cool edge that was easy to wash-&-wear. I made an appointment a week later for balayage and took my skintone and reference photos into consideration. Its been a few months and I just made another appointment. The salon is cute too. And they have wine, which gives them an extra star in my book.

See Rachel! Shes amazing I went to Bloom a couple of weeks ago. Wanted a purple ombre over an old brownish color I had. She did a phenomenal job and really took care of me. After leaving the salon within 10mins I got complimented and the next day someone even stopped me in the street to say they love the color. And more compliments after that at work and a superbowl party. Feel like a celeb! its been over a week and the color us still vibrant and gorgeous! Id highly recommend her

This place is absolutely fantastic. The people are nice and professional, the decor is amazing and clean, and I walked away with one of the best and most stylish haircuts Ive ever received.I have to admit that I was a little nervous going to a full scale beauty lounge to get a mens cut, but it was a great decision. Pre-cut, Elle (my stylist) walked me through a number of different options, and told me the benefits and drawbacks of each given my hairs natural tendencies. Throughout the cut, we had a nice mix of conversation (none of which felt forced or awkward, which it can at some salons). Post-cut, she talked me through different ways to style my cut, different products to use, and what to expect as it grows out. Amazing consulting! Will definitely be going back; Im going to make this my regular salon in nyc.

Ohh the pain to find a good hairdresser! The pain! Following a recommendation of a good friend of mine I went to see Justin to get a haircut. According to my friend, who shares my fate of having some serious curls, hes great with unruly hair!First ... I emailed for an appoinment around 11pm at night ... and got a response. Wow! Very impressive. When entering the salon I thought I went in the wrong door as they have a large range of merchandise on display. Turns out they just developed their own range of hair product. Anyway the shop is very comfortable and very nicely furnished. The staff is extremely friendly and Justin is a master of curls. having seen the unstyled mess I arrived with he cut it in a beautiful way and asked my opinion along the way. He also gave me so very good advice on how to handle my hair in the coming winter. Thats the way to treat a customer!I will be back for sure!

I did the Japanese straightening with sal in mid October and wanted to wait a few weeks before reviewing to see how it was going, and Im happy to say Im still thrilled with the results. Ive had impossibly frizzy hair my entire life. Id done the keratin treatments a few times with varying results but it always washed out between 4 and 6 weeks later - even the 3 month treatment. I had heard bad things about Japanese straightening so Id stayed away from it for years, but then a stylist who did my hair for my sisters wedding suggested I try the straightening. So I did a little research and found sal. I have highlights so it could have been a disaster, but sal did an amazing job and my hair ended up looking fantastic. It is a bit more work now because I used to just let my hair air dry and now, I have to blow-dry whenever I get it wet, but the plus side is I never have to worry about frizz anymore, and if I have an event where I want to look my best -no more pricey and time consuming blowouts! Yes sal was pricey, but Im hoping its a process I only have to do every 9 months (as he said) and then itll end up being just a bit more than the keratin. Highly recommend.
