Started going to Nadia for relaxer touchups this past summer during the pandemic and so glad I did! Have since been back every few months - shes always prompt, leaves my hair looking great, and has been really helpful in advising how to manage it in between appointments. Plus the COVID restrictions are enforced (clean studio, sanitation products, masks on at all times, etc.) will keep coming back for sure!

I always enjoy going to the Nadia Vassell Salon. The salon has such a cozy atmosphere. The staff is exception and really sweet. I always end up leaving the salon looking great and feeling beautiful. Nadia always knows best when it come to my hair. The products that she uses are not harsh nor harmful to your hair. I will always recommend the Nadia Vassell Salon to all my friends.

Disclaimer: I rarely write reviews. Yet, after being a client of Nadia’s for over 5 years, I was compelled to write a review especially after trying her newly added micro-link weave installation. This technique is seriously game-changing!! It is fast, pain-free, and looks very natural. It is light weight and incredibly versatile!!! You can part it in several places and throw your hair into a top ponytail with zero problems! I absolutely love it; I mean blowing in the wind fabulous kind of love it!!!!Lastly, if you are looking for a full service salon, try the Nadia Vassell salon. Without hesitation, I can attest to Nadia expertise! She can do it all; short or long hair (I’ve had both), natural or relaxed hair, weaves, wigs, and even makeup.

If I could give Nadia a negative one I would. The salon is nice and granted is she is great at what she does, BUT as a loyal customer at one point in time and someone I used to recommend many people to get their hair done by her , I would no longer recommend Nadia at all if you care about how you are treated as a client being serviced at her salon. I had high expectations of her since she always did a great job with straightening my hair, until a wig that I requested to be made was not made on time when I needed it and was too small. There was a lot of back and forth between the young lady who made custom wigs at Nadias salon. I paid $1,000.00 to the Nadia Vassell for a wig that was not made on time and too small. I requested my money back. Nadia did not want to give me back my money in which I was appalled by. She kept opting for me to get the wig made over, which at that point I did not want another wig because the service was horrible and unprofessional customer service to say the least. I had to go as far as reporting her to the Better Business Bureau. Prior to this situation with the wig, I scheduled an appointment to get extensions. I showed up she asked what was I doing here I said I made an appointment to get extensions installed mine you the extensions were from her line that is overpriced. She basically did my sew in between clients which took 8 hours. She ultimately forgot I had an appointment. I still wish her the best. Just hoping she has owned up to her mistakes and learned from them because you never know how a person can affect/effect your business in the future. Also do not believe Yelp as they have a tendency to remove honest consumer reviews if the business asks for the review to be removed. I do not consider Yelp a valuable source for honest reviews especially if your planning to spend your money!
