I have never been in a Doctors office with such pleasant staff unbelievable how nice they are. From when you walk in the door or even when you call with a question. Dr Drew is a amazing Dr his bed side manners are top quality hes just a great guy and knows his stuff.

Went in for issues with back pain. Met with both Doctor Florek and Doctor DeMann both were incredibly thorough in their examinations and explanation of not only the possible symptoms but also different solutions that would help me. I left with a coordination of care that fit my schedule. I appreciate they have evening hours and would definitely recommend to anyone who may be suffering from pain. To finalize in regards to Covid the office was sterile and staff and doctors followed all guidelines.

I experienced therapy with Dr. Reisner and she is a very kind and caring person that made me feel comfortable and that I can trust her. I received a one on one care with her and it felt like she was present and attentive when she spoke to me, not like her mind was somewhere else. I have been coming here for a few months now and I could honestly say that I have received the best treatment possible than I could from anywhere else. Before I had tremendous back pain but now it is like that pain was never there to begin with.

Great folks to work with. I was in NYC on vacation and needed to check in with a PT specialist before going home. I called and was able to get an appointment the next day. I was welcomed to the office and got to see the doctor quickly. he did a thorough exam before passing me off to Jackie the PT specialist who gave me a set of exercises to do before I got home.Highly recommended.

After a longer than expected recovery post arthoscopy surgery for the clean up of a badly shredded meniscus I was at my wits end. My right knee was very swollen 2 and a half months later. I had limited walking endurance with lots of limping and pain. My HSS surgeon could only offer me cortisone and his firm opinion that my discomfort was because of my early stages of osteoarthritis. He told me all this in a follow up exam in which he never checked the swelling given I wore jeans for the entire visit. I declined the cortisone as I wanted Dr Demanns medical opinion first. He and his talented P.A. gave me a thorough exam and immediately saw that my knee needed to be drained! After draining they assured me I would feel so much better. I do. It is amazing. Limp and pain are gone! 4 days after the procedure I danced for 2 hours!!! Next up is to do the PRT. I cannot wait! Demann is kind, takes his time to explain things and has given me hopeful encouragement that my body has a good chance of healing so I can resume being physical again. Lastly his office RUNS ON TIME!

After being in pain for a long time and having multiple other doctors get my diagnosis wrong I went to Manhattan Medicine on a recommendation from my physician. I was recommended to Manhattan Spine by my boss when I started having pretty severe neck and low back pain. Dr. Demann had me get some x-rays and they showed that I have a straight neck and a slight curve in my back. He advised that I do some physical therapy and chiropractic work. I went once a week for a few months and improved on my posture and strength in both areas. It took some time, but by the end of my treatment I was pain free. Everyone in the office was very kind and responsive. I worked with Dr. Reisner for my physical therapy, and she was super sweet and helpful. I saw three different chiropractors during my time there due to some changeover, but each of them was great and helped me tremendously. I would definitely recommend Manhattan Spine to anyone who is seeking treatment for chronic pain. In my case, I liked that they had a non-invasive approach that helped to solve the problem instead of just treat the symptoms.

I think Sanjay Joseph is an incredible physical therapist. I have been going to him for a number of years for various problems and he has shown magnificant understanding and solved many of my physical ailments. Moreover, he makes me laugh and laughter is the best medicine.

Dr DeMann was able to diagnose my condition on the very first visit. The office people were extremely helpful and the office itself is immaculate.

I am a retired Chiropractor and have know Dr. DeMann at Manhattan Medicine for years. So when both of my knees were diagnosed with osteoarthrosis I knew I had to do something. I was having more difficulty with so many activities I loved to do, hiking, long walks even swimming. I did not want to just take medication that would only cover up my pain and be stuck with the unpleasant side effects. I flew to New York and Dr. DeMann and his team did stem cell injections on both knees. It was painless and the results were great! Within months I was able to stand for long periods of time, hike and swim without any pain. I had a great experience with Jacqueline Reisner- when I saw her I was experience moderate to severe pain while bike riding and after a few weeks of physical therapy I was able to complete a 500 mile bike ride in 6 days! I definitely recommend her.

Ive been seeing both Sanjay and Tara Donahue following a micro-lumbar disectomy procedure that I underwent. They have been instrumental in my continued recovery. In particular 3 aspects stand out:1. Collaborative nature of the team to jointly come up with a plan that complements physical therapy and the chiropractic treatment2. Timeliness and follow up: I have a strong appreciation for the after treatment follow ups such as updates on exercises and stretches to follow3. Tailored approaches such as trying different therapies be it traction, electric-stim, manual therapy, etc. have been useful -- especially in light of knowing when to dial up or down on a particular lever

It was the physical therapy that I needed for my left knee and it was very professionally done, with much care and in a very pleasant environment.

This clinic is the best Ive ever been to. From the minute you walk in the door you are greeted by such a friendly staff. The doctors ALWAYS run on time which is very rare. You are treated like an individual here not just a number. All the care is one on one. I saw Dr. DeMann first and he did an ultrasound to diagnose what was wrong. He took his time explaining everything to me and was in no rush. He then brought in the physical therapist (Dr. Reisner) and chiropractor (Dr. Donohue) to explain what was going on. The three of them then discussed a treatment plan for me. I highly recommend this place to anyone with any sort of pain. The specialized care you get is like no other place youve been to.

Thank you to Dr. DeMann and Jackie Reisner for treating the herniation in my back that would not go away. I was looking for a miracle and found one in Dr. DeMann and Jackie who knew exactly what to do to treat my debilitating L4 disc herniation- it was gone within days and to the present day. They were especially sensitive to my treatment needs and personal concerns which is rare in todays health care environment. Two thumbs up!

I have been in treatment at Manhattan spine for about a year. Even though I m only 33, I had very serious, debilitating neck and shoulder pain that started with a shoulder tendinitis years ago. I started always having pain while sitting or using my shoulder. The problem became chronic and limited sessions of physical therapy were not enough. At Manhattan Spine I found the attention I needed for my problem and a comprehensive program of rehabilitation. Dr Demann performed a thorough evaluation and diagnosis and keeps following my progress very closely. Ive had trigger point injections with him that worked wonders. They have a wonderful team put together. In the beginning I did physical therapy 3 times a week with Dr. Jacqueline Reisner. She is extremely knowledgeable and attentive. We have tried many different exercise approaches and the most modern exercise programs. Weve recently been working on the Pilates reformer they have, which works great for me. I have also tried techniques like cupping with her, which has been amazingly helpful, too. I have also done traction with the the chiropractor Dr Donahue which adds another important layer of therapy and speeds my way to full recovery, as well as some acupuncture, which works great with pain. Having chronic pain is no joke and I was starting to feel desperate. I have now been practically pain free for a couple of months, which I had not experienced in a very long time; I only need PT once a week and I managed to go back to the gym twice a week! Not only have I improved a lot, I feel I have the close care that is taking me to permanent recovery, after I had started to worry about always having pain. At Manhattan Spine I feel everyone is very committed on my recovery, from the front desk to the administrative people, and everyone has worked together with my health benefits to make my treatment affordable and compatible with my financial limitations. I could not be happier to have found this clinic and the people that work there.

I visited facility with debilitating spinal stenosis. The physical therapist and resident chiropracter were able to reduce symptoms substantially, which allowed me to delay surgery. The Director, Dr. Drew DeMann, referred me to one of the top spinal surgeons in NYC, and I underwent successful surgery. I still visit the clinic for post-surgical rehabilitation, and am improving day by day.Dr. DeMann also treated an inflamed tendon and infection in my foot, both of which were resolved in single visits.The staff is competent and pleasant, and the facility is state of the art.Highly recommended!

My experience at Manhattan Medicine far exceeded expectations. Ive had hamstring pain for a long time..many visits to PT...no real success. A friend suggested Dr. DeMann and I went to see him fully skeptical that it would help. Dr. DeMann used a sonogram to assess my issue and knew exactly what to do. After three PRP (platlet rich plasma) treatments, my hamstring is 95% healed and Im in PT to get strong enough to return to running. Dr. Reisners PT treatment has been as important as Dr. DeManns PRP injections. Her strengthening exercises have helped tremendously and Ive learned so much that will help me avoid future injuries. Dr DeMann performed stem cell replacement and PRP for torn cartilage in my knee and I have been able to avoid surgery and return to activity pain free. I continue to see Dr. Campbell for chiropractic care, who uses Active Release Technique (ART), psoas release, and extremity work. The pain I experienced from scoliosis is nearly non-existent since beginning chiropractic care with Dr. Campbell. I cant recommend Manhattan Spine and Sports Medicine enough for their holistic cutting-edge approach to medical care.

I have been a patient at Manhattan Sports and Spine for almost seven years and seeked treatments for PT and Chiropractic. My experience has always been very satisfactory and I had very positive outcome from my treatments in terms of reducing my pain and managing it at home. Physical therapists and chiropractors were always on look out for my best interests and well being. Making appt and changing it as needed has been also very smooth. And there is almost zero to only a few mins of wait time before my appointments which is a huge plus when you are taking time out of daily work hours. However only in the recent years I felt that the non medical staff has been maintaining little business like approach (read as distance) with the patients. Absolutely nothing wrong with that, but previous staff was more personable. I felt I lost that comfort level with the group overall.If it wasnt for the recent changes in policies and procedures with out of network provider, and also changes in some of my personal requirements/needs, I would still be going to them.Dr Demann also has been extremely knowledgeable and personable with patient. Always made me very comfortable and patient in explaining my issue and trrattment options. When I initially hurt myself, I googled PRP Treatment for Achilles Tears, and I was unable to find helpful posts. I hope this review helps others that are considering this procedure.My story - 40 Years old. Active. P90x, stair climber, plyometrics about 5 times per week. Had 2 tears in my Right Achilles that I hoped would heal with rest. When the pain persisted I was recommended to Dr Drew DeMann at Manhattan Spine & Sports Medicine. After reviewing my MRI and Ultrasound, Dr DeMann was confident he could fix me with one or two treatments of PRP.Procedure - being injected was not terribly painful, but you definitely knew it was happening. The idea behind PRP, once you are injected, the plasma spreads to the area with tears, expands, and fills the gaps. Like those foam sprayers used for cracks in home repair. Took an Uber home, feeling like my leg was a bit heavy, but not overly uncomfortable. Dr DeMann warned me that I would feel pressure in the area at night and to keep the leg elevated as I slept. That night, I woke up about 2am feeling like my leg was going to explode from the pressure. This was the point where I was thinking I should have taken the pain pills provided! Thankfully, this was the low point for me, as each night got easier and easier.Walking Boot - I wore it more than asked. Used it for nearly 3 weeks.Physical Therapy - Manhattan Spine has a great One Stop Shop concept. My physical therapist, Dr. Jacqueline Reisner, was located right on premises. I have had PT treatment before and it was always a lackadaisical event. Not with Dr. Reisner. She explains what you will do, stands by your side and corrects you when you are doing it wrong, and teaches you how to continue improving on your own. I have since incorporated stretches she taught me in to my daily routine. She is a gem in the PT world.6 weeks later I continued my stretches and was back at the gym. It has been 9 months since my PRP on my Achilles and I could not be happier. I am back at the gym 5 to 6 times per week and climbing stairs at an aggressive pace. I would recommend Dr DeMann & Dr. Reisner to anyone in my situation.*Note - ask your doctor the cost, as many insurance companies do not cover PRP
