Every thing was organized, went smoothly and there was no time wasted waiting. All departments, registration, doctors office and lab saw me in a timely manner. All employees and doctor were pleasant and more than competent. As always, in the last 25 years, no complaints re: Tulane Medical Center.

I have the good fortune to have Dr. Pejic as my primary. Currently, Im experiencing a hernia problem. Dr. Pejic made a thorough exam and is working with me to resolve the problem. He also went online and introduced me to sites that have inexpensive trusses I can use in the meantime to make life more comfortable.In addition, appointments at his location is always on time which is greatly appreciated.

The customer service of this place seriously needs to be re-evaluated. I tried getting details on my appointment such as parking/billing and was met with a bad attitude both times I called. It seems as if the individuals answering the phones cannot be bothered to answer simple questions. That is above them.

Was there for 14.5 hours. Offered food twice, declined the first time(breakfast) and accepted lunch offer but never came. Physician said nice meeting you with his back facing me as he was leaving/exiting the door. Gave me options but found out there was motion in plan prior to even being able to decide. Not good.

Everyone was super caring and non-judgmental. Let’s just say that I wasn’t exactly in the best place that night. I feel very lucky and fortunate to see another day. The nurses and doctors made me laugh to ease down the embarrassment. I couldn’t have asked for better care. Thank you from the bottom and top of my heart. ❤️

The fastest, most thorough and comfortable emergency experience I have ever had. I was in and out in an hour. I spoke with informative Drs and felt like they cared. Thats alot.

My experience there was great everybody there is very friendly and very caring and listens to all your concerns and they explain phase of your treatment very clear I know Iam in good hands there ❤️❤️

Very thorough initial exam. The doctor was engaged with me, went over all my concerns and conditions. Based on the visit I was given referrals to two specialists and requisitions for needed lab work and X-rays. Follow-up visit was two weeks later, not months as with previous providers. I would recommend this clinic to anyone.

I saw Dr. Terry Cummings at Tulane Uptown Multispecialty Clinic. She was prompt, thorough and took time to answer all of my questions. She is an excellent and extremely caring physician. Tulane is lucky to have her! Thanks Dr. Terry!

The overall experience at Tulane was positive. I want to shout out to my recovery nurse (I forget her name) and my floor night nurse, Meredith, for the care and concern they expressed immediately after my surgery! Both of those ladies deserve a Daisy Award!!My floor day nurse was a different story, as I saw her maybe 3 times and I asked to get up and walk to which she replied itll be a while before I get to you. My surgeon specifically stated I needed to walk!!

Dr. Crabtree is very kind and attentive. However, there’s never enough time to get to the meat and potatoes of my concerns. I’m seeking a diagnosis regarding my neurological issues.

I have never had the opportunity to experience Tulane until now. I have always been at Ocshner or East Jefferson. Nurses called 2 times to confirm my appointment with specific instructions and everyone I interacted with on the staff that day were so kind. I had an EEG and an MRI on the same day and was out before noon with my appointments starting at 12. Everything went like clockwork. No complaints at all.

I remember the year they saved my life. I didnt have Google at the time. They put me in an ambulance to a campus that specialized in my issue. Great staff.

My visit was a pleasant one, given I was at the hospital which is a place I dont like to visit. Everyone was courteous, professional and concerned...

The staff at Tulane were amazing!! I was helped very quickly and they were all so sweet and gentle. Being from out of state, I was a bit nervous about the whole process, but they all made me feel very comfortable and safe. I cant thank them enough!!!

We were only 50 minutes post appointment time beings called to the back and only a 10 minute wait in the back before seeing Dr. Thomas. This is a great improvement over our other visits to Tulane.However , the drop off area was closed off and the only way into the hospital was through the Lasalle garage which is a long walk for my husband.

My recent appointment with Dr. Hellstrom was awesome. His staff was professional and wasted no time diagnosing my issue. This guy is a no none sense doctor that shoots straight and his credentials are impeccable. The staff greeted me with courtesy and were very friendly and competent. My Dr Leah Williams (a female!!!! Yes!!!! 😊), was fantastic!!!! Got right down to business but with genuine concern, empathy and kindness. She explained in simple language just what was wrong, gave me a dose right there (medicated mouthwash), as well as two prescriptions. I was out quickly and thought what a great Dr she is! I was on vacation (from Massachusetts), but thanks to Dr Williams i was up and feeling good the next day!!Thank you all!!!!!Kathy McLaughlin

Everyone in the hospital was very friendly and helpful.Except for the pre-op department. The women in the back are rude and not friendly at all. They are very slow ( like they dont want to be there). We have a bad time every time we go there.The operating ward was wonderful. The doctors are wonderful.

I cant say enough about the Tulane University Medical Center I have had surgery and also went in to the ER for a follow up check up and both visits were really good. Everyone from start to finish was incredible. A huge thank you to all the staff.

Dr. Pedro Barata was wonderful. He explained the complexities of my medical situation and the results of my test in a manner that was easy to understand. His colleague, Ms. Charlotte Manogue, displayed the patience of Job in helping me find my way to the medical center and much else. I deeply appreciate all they did for me. I had a small bump on my lower eyelid with redness and tenderness. Im not knowledgeable about eye infections, so I panicked. The Ophthalmology Clinic saw me the same day, and Dr. Zhang was respectful and kind when answering my questions and educating me about my issue and eye care. Thankfully, it was only a minor glandular infection with a simple remedy, but I appreciated her acknowledgement of my concerns and her thorough examination of both of my eyes as a precaution.

They are very attentive, very caring and take time to explain everything. Never hurried. I like my doctor and his assistants and know that I will be coming for a very long time.

I learned and feel this is a top health care doctor and staff providing superior medical needs.

Services from my cardiologist, Dr. Keith Ferdinand, and team were excellent. They reviewed my history carefully, they respectfully engaged me providing useful guidance concerning medication and diet. They set a date/time for a key test that I needed, quickly scheduled and, conducted the test and lab results and shared them with me within 24 hrs. I felt seen. Thank you, Dr. Ferdinand.

My Dr visit was great. Made my surgery date and was getting ready. Got a message that my surgery was canceled and was told my insurance would not pay for it. I called them and asked them why because I just came there . They knew my insurance before I came there. During the last phone call I was told they don’t take my insurance. For me to call them back when I got different insurance.

Seen reasonably quickly. Very impressed with the time taken and interview process with my doctor. Interior of building was neat, clean, and updated.

This is a great place. Great Doctors. Everyone is pleasant and friendly. I have problems with my joints and only had good experiences with every Doctors I’ve seen.

Went to ER on Tuesday with pain in arm from vaccine received 8/18. I tried to explain situation to nurses but was shut down once I said I reported symptoms to Vaers. Subsequently they said lingering pain at injection site more than a month later was not from vaccine. Shocked. No pain at spot before shot. I was discharged without seeing or speaking to a doctor about running blood test or x-ray. I tried to contact patient relations department since then, left messages, no answer no reply. Im considering legal action and wont be going back to tulane facilities.

My wife received a life saving transplant. The Drs. are literally angels. The nurses and staff on 4 West that took care of everyone of my wifes needs including making sure her mother and myself were comfortable are superior professionals and individuals. We were there for 2 months and we grew attached to everyone. Even the ladies in the cafeteria were the nicest bunch. They would talk to me every time I went down, asked about how Jen was doing everyday and offered prayers. Truly the best place my Jen could of been. Theres so much more I can say. Truly thankful and touched to get to know these angels.

Very good experience. Very polite and professional office and medical staff.

I came in to the hospital on a Saturday afternoon with extreme pain from Kidney Stones. The check in process took about 30 minutes, then I was ushered into a waiting room where I sat writhing in pain for 2.5 hours. After begging the nurses on duty to please help me, I was told a myriad of excuses which were “1) we’re going through a shift change and 2) when you come to the emergency room sometimes you just don’t know how long it will take.” When I couldn’t get any help from the nurses, I called the hospital and spoke with the nurse supervisor who said he would see what he can do. Nothing came of that and at least another hour and a half went by. Once I finally got a room (which is literally only a curtain divider), I was next to another patient whom clearly had mental issues as she was talking very loud to herself and screaming expletives. Hospital staff was unconcerned and subjected the entire emergency room to having to listen to the foolishness of one patient for at least an hour. To paint the picture, 1) it took 2.5 hours before I even got a bed, 2) when I finally got one, there was a crazy screaming lady on the other side of the curtain for an hour, 3) I was in my bed for an additional 30 minutes before I got an IV, 4) after I got the IV, it took another 30 minutes to get meds. To summarize, I was in the EMERGENCY room of Tulane Medical Center for 4.5 hours - maybe more - before I received any relief. The only reason I give two stars is because once I finally received medical treatment, the doctor was very attentive and took care of me. But overall, the experience was brutal and felt like I was in a jail instead of a hospital.

I was very pleased with my visit to Tulane Medical Center. I was well treated and well informed about having surgery. I would recommend Tulane Medical Center to anyone that ask.

Excellent service from the time we walked through the doors until the wheeled my husband out at discharge. Every single person treated us with kindness and respect. My husband I have been employed in hospitals for 17 and 33 years respectively. Neither of us have ever witnessed positive service from in the door and back out again 100%. Would recommend anyone to this hospital. We drove from MS. Well worth the drive.

Incredible caring professionals. I have enjoyed 4 birthdays that I was not expecting and I am feeling great. I owe it all to this fine team and God.

Mri : although as a pt you are secured properly for imaging on the table, there are various times in the machine when the machine violently shakes laterally. I was given a thin bedsheet for my arm bc the mri heats up (?!)1/3 way through I could feel light warmth, 1/2 way through strong warmth. Never had those exercises in other machines...... very odd..and do not feel safe

The parking was confusing and how to maneuver around the hospital was definitely confusing the Care at the hospital was great

I am rating a four because I am very disappointed with the lab services. I had a confirmed appointment for 10:00. After registering I went to the lab to have the blood drawn. I was rudely told that I didn’t have an appointment. I showed her my letter with all my appointments set up for that day. I was again rudely told that my paperwork was for radiology. When I went to my appointment with my doctor the nurse apologised because their was no lab work done on me. She said the lab has done that several times before and they have reported them several times. After I finished my appointment I went down to the lab again and had the blood-work done. By this time I had been fasting for twelve hours. Everybody from the receptionist at registration, radiology, my doctor and his nurse was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I can’t say the same about the lab staff.

So glad that Dr. Felix Savoie accommodated my Saturday appointment. I arrived early and was immediately taken for x-rays. Personal consultation and diagnosis for future steps were completely explained. I appreciate Dr. Savoies expertise and heartfelt care.

As a new patient, the process was very streamlined and hassle free. The staff was so nice and helpful! Dr. was right on time and imaging was fast. For people in pain, this is a great place!

Family member in back waiting area eating snacks. They need to post a no eating, snacking or drinking in the area patients wait for urology procedure. Nurses need more training and need to be told inquire when patients tell them they have failed to follow procedure. They were new nurses very flip at the mouth said they didn’t care if I told doctor because they new. That was no excuse but I did talk over with Medical Doctor he was very concerned and cares for his patients. He will address the situation. Informed them to call X-ray they lied and told me X-ray is busy. MD handled it himself. Please in your training of new nurses let them know to inquire when a patient tells them something. My procedure was extremely painful due to the nurses refusing to use numming cream or going to ask someone. Just because they are the RN’s doesn’t mean a patient that has gone through procedure several times don’t know what needs to be done. A quick question to the other staff would have avoided some of the pain I went through.

Dr Pratibha Rayapati, MD is a very attentive , patient and nice doctor who I believe genuinely care about her patients. So glad I found her . She is a good health provider.

Well first off we waited to hear how my friends sugery went for 8 hours.The doctor never came to talk to us.Then we finally left after 10 hours after not hearing a thing.Come back the next day to see if everything was ok still no one to talk to.Then the next morning this person starts to choke on their food no one around to help .They were all at the desk looking on their phones and amazon and laughing.The next day this person got their lunch spoiled fruit and old tuna fish.ThThey did not eat for the third day in a row.Here to pick them up today and still no one to see what us going on are talk to anyone.Im very disappointed.

Great service from Dr. Williams and my nurse Steven. Great bedside manner and very compassionate. They took my concerns seriously. Much improved from a few years ago.

Dr. Socola is the best there is. He is kind and takes great pride in what he does. We were quickly accommodated and all information explained. Cannot say enough about this doctor. Very pleased.

The staff and level of care were tremendous. Its been a terribly long time I could say that about a hospital visit. Staff very pleasant and professional. I was taken for X-rays by staff shortly after arrival. After X-ray I was placed in an exam room where I was seen by staff for med changes and symptom update. The doctor saw me not long after that. Dr. Cyriac is very personable and has a warm caring attitude.

I found the staff to be very nice and helpful, the best experience Ive had for physical therapy.

Awesome Experience. Everyone in the Cardiology Department was friendly and efficient. I was surprised that there was no wait. Tab, the person who did my test was AMAZING. She could tell that I was nervous and she did a great job of helping me relax and complete my test. Definitely a great experience!

Very poor experience dealing with office staff and attempting to reschedule a surgery. I have called 12 times over the course of a month and no solutions have been provided. It is really quite perplexing how this office operates.

Do not go to this ER! The doctors dont give a damn and they do everything in slow motion. I left the er in the same severe pain. Took my pressure and temperature after the security guard had to find him. When I got there only the security was there. Sad. Left me in the room while he chatted it up in hallway about shift change.

Staff and Physicians were very nice. They explained everything thoroughly. They made me feel like family.

An accident on a Friday night led to an emergency admittance and then an involved surgery on Saturday. Discharge on Monday. Staff at all levels was great, food was normal hospital Blah! Lots of frustratingly slow bureaucracy. Overall, it went as well as could be expected.

They were very professional,very thorough, and very quick in taking care of my needs. I left there feeling very satisfied with the service

My visit to Tulane was perfect. The place was nest and clean. Staff was helpful. The Dr. Was very helpful. The answer all question.

Dr. Sartor and his staff were extremely helpful, answered all questions, arranged for diagnostic tests quickly and offered sound advice on treatment. Dr. Sartor also provided important information about treating side effects of the cancer with conventional pain killers.

Surgeon, staff, and everyone involved in my visit was exceptional. Could not have asked for a better experience under the circumstances.

I stayed in ICU for 3 days and the nurses and doctors were exceptional!!They were very attentive , really patient and so sweet!!! Shoutout to Halle, Gavin and Britt.Britt was the best. He made sure I kept my dignity when I had to have my bedsheets changed and I had to have a quick sponge bath.He got a female to do it and I was so appreciative.

Everyone has been friendly helpful and kind!!
