I am eternally grateful for the professionalism, compassion, dedication, and committment to excellence displayed by the staff at Cobalt Rehab. The nurses, therapists, social workers, physicians, and support staff all contributed to making my visit a most pleasant experience.

Miss Brunette Sino was the very best person who works there. She was a huge help to me. Also, Hailey was a huge help to me in physical therapy. I wont forget you. Thank you, I am doing alot better now.

My mother was admitted to Cobalt after experiencing multiple falls over 3 months. No other facility would consider admitting her because she only qualified for a few days. Well, she spent 7 days at Cobalt and the outcome and experience was better than I could have hoped for. Her balance, strength, and coordination have improved tremendously. She went from dragging her feet (which was the main reason she kept falling) to walking with full, deliberate steps. She has become more aware of her abilities and limitations...they even got her using a cane when she goes out by herself(something we tried for months to get her to do, but she refused.) Nursing and therapy were kind, empathetic, and clearly concerned. I wouldnt go anywhere else for myself or a loved one.

Worse place ever. BIGGGGG lack of communication my brother was there because of a Brian injury. All of his siblings live off of town however, I would come in town every single week and stayed a couple of days and never saw a doctor. I asked on several occasions for the doctor to call me never happened. Im calling up there every single day saying I havent heard anything from the doctor always an excuse. So I gets a call from the social worker on a Wednesday saying my brother was going to be discharged that Friday mind you we all live out of town and have JOBS just like they do. I tells the social worker my brother has been there for 17 days now and I havent heard anything from a doctor she tells me she didnt know that and she would make sure that he called, and of course it didnt happened, so on Thursday the 18 day of him being there I finally gets a call from the doctor who was in the social workers office. He says I hear you have some questions. Really what do you think after my brother has been attack with an iron pipe and has a crack skull, mouth wired shut, and having to have therapy to walk again. We have our conversation and he says they gave him an extra day you can pick him up on Saturday. I said Saturday I was told this morning on the phone that they was going to let him stay until Monday. So he says hold on I guess he had to talk to the social worker since no one knows what the other is doing or saying. Finally I said ok I will just have my fiance take of from work tomorrow and come and get him because hes coming to live with us until he can do for himself which we like 5 hours away. when he was at University Medical Center New Orleans they gave him top notch care and was very informative to the family about his care. I would not recommend Cobalt rehabilitation to anyone because of the lack of disrespect they showed to the patient and his family. I should have been told a week prior that he was going to be discharge the following week not 2 days before. Im in the health care industry and we always tell the family the day were planning to discharge the patient so the family can be prepared.

Our family member was diagnosed with a serious life altering diagnosis. We were desperately looking for help to improve not only his current situation but for a place that would be able to help his overall quality of life. We visited many places, and Cobalt was the only facility that would spend the time with us to really understand our situation. The admissions team and the administration were amazingly courteous and friendly to our family and loved one. All the therapist and nurses were just simply the best, just to name a few -Allana, Allison, Meghan, Patrick, Ronetta, Lindsey, and Krystle. As a family, we never felt pressured or rushed when asking questions. The staff always made us feel encouraged to ask questions and wanted us to be involved in the plan. The leadership was amazing, Mr. Scott Tranchina the CEO, and Mr. Scott Thigpen, the admissions director was always visible and available. They were always up walking the hallways visiting patients and talking with families daily. They both did not hesitate to help patients and their staff when needed.I have been military born and raised, I can tell you, the staff here and the attention to the little things go a long way, and it starts from the top. Mr. Scott understands how to truly make a difference in peoples lives and he has some great employees working as a team to make a difference for us. When patients needed something, the entire team would not hesitate to go into a room, from the CEO to the directors, and even the cleaning staff was willing to help. I cannot say enough great things about this truly amazing facility, but even more so, the amazing people helping my dad get better.

Terrible experience!!! CEO (Scott) very rude to employees and also patient. Nurses are great. Therapist good. But aweful aweful place to go!! CEO let his title get to him . He’s a nurse by trade and tried to make decision about my health that will trigger my seizures. Stayed one day and staff was dropping hints to gtf and that’s just what I did. Ochsner and Touro 4th floor rehab is what I’ll stick too. I heard good things about this rehab and don’t get me wrong the therapist is good but the facility and staff will run you out. Staff lied to my face about not having access to medication when I went to demand discharge pixis was wide open. Need new owner!! This will be a huge mistake going here!
