They leave bed ridden patients for more than three hours knowing that they have soiled their diapers.. The food is not good. The nurses are sweet but they are very understaffed.

BEWARE of admitting your family membersIf I could give zero stars I would.My husband’s mother has been there for a week and he has been unable to visit her.Numerous calls and 2 in person attempts to “make an appointment” to see her have been futile and he’s been turned away.Very unprofessional and disorganized and we haven’t even been inside 😳

I visited my husband this evening for the first time. Since he is new to the facility, he is in isolation. Staff took extra precaution to keep me safe. All of the staff I came in contact with were very friendly and professional. So far I am pleased with the facility and the fact that they constantly call and keep me up to date with his status.

I had my 83 year old mom at home, she suffers from Alzheimers and she tested pisitive for Covid early this year. After a hospital stay, we then moved her to Harmony Health. Shes been there a few months already. I can say that everyone we have encountered with have been very nice, sweet, polite, knowledgeable and very helpful to our needs. The place is very clean and the food is very good. I have peace knowing my mom is there.

I was not aware that you needed an appointment for a visit. The receptionist was very nice and arranged for my uncle to be brought to the lobby to met with me. Thank you.

Ive been trying to contact the social workers regarding my dad, and they wont answer or respond to my calls voicemails and emails, nothing!!!

The Florida governor make clear that he wants residents of long term care has visitors. I dont understand that family has to wait more days in order to see their parents, Please open doors for the family..it is a lot of places all ready open more that one day at week .

This pandemic is truly one of the most daunting challenges that our nation has ever faced and having a loved one in a facility that nurtures them is peace of mind for any son or daughter. I have personally been in healthcare for the past twenty eight years in South Florida and have had seen my share of facilities come and go but I can truly say that Harmony Health Care formerly IHS at Greenbiar has always been my ALF of choice. A year ago do to my mothers decline in health I was challenged with having to place her in a facility that could offer her rehab and long term care. At this point I contacted the Admissions Director Harmony and within a few days my mother was moved to the LTC unit and was receiving the care she so much needed. It has been over a year since her admission and I personally have no complaints over the quality and professionalism of the facility. During these past six months of these mandated closures Harmony has conducted weekly Facetime calls alleviating the stress on all of us also the business office has kept us updated weekly on any changes that have occurred with my mother and the facility. I personally reach out to nurses in the unit and I always get a response within a timely manner answering all my questions. I pretty much hear it first hand from my mother how well she feels their and how nicely she is treated by the NURSES and the CNAs. Once again as face these challenging times in our community having her in Harmony only gives us peace of mind knowing that my mother is being cared for as we would have her at home. I was blessed to have had both my mom and dad at Harmony. The people there are the best part of the care. My dad was a grumpy old man with a bunch of demands, and the nurses and nursesassistants were always willing to cater to his every whim. My mother was spoiled during her time there. She was there on and off for 5 years. Her nurses and nurses assistants, especially Gerri, Leydi, Elba, Marisela, Liz, and Sarai were more like family. The administrative team, especially Luz, Madeline, and Nery, were always pleasant and helpful. My mom passed away a month ago, we were able to bring her home near the end. But, the day she left us my first call was to her nurses at Harmony who loved her as much as I did. Thank you Harmony for taking care of my two great loves.

I would recommend Harmony health center to anybody the staff there are super nice with your family member. My mother in law has been there for 2 years already and they treat her like family. They are always on top of your love ones and now with the pandemic we get calls every Friday to keep us updated on was is going on so I want to say thank you to Harmony health center for keeping my family member safe

My mother was at Harmony from 2015until her death on February 2020. We werevery happy with her care, with love andcompassion from nurses, therapist, andthe activities group. Our family was ableto comunícate with admissions, social servicesand nurses with great courtesies and respect. It was truly a second home for my mother.

My father Raul Hernandez lived as a long term patient at Harmony for ten years also my mother spent 6 months as a rehab patient, the staff made them feel like family, they were always friendly not only towards us but the patients and any visitors that walked into the facilities to visit.I highly recomend the facility as well as the staff a d management.

I had a family member there. Great ambiance. Very satisfied with the attention and care.

It is never ending issues with her care! I have to constantly call a supervisor or a staff member. Every time we do the 4 days video chat I see her with some sort of visible issue that needs care. Today her right wrist was super swollen and looked bruised, the other day her neck and left side of the face was swollen (visible through video chat and pictures). Two weeks ago she had her left side of the face swollen and red with Dermatitis I was told there was nothing wrong. I received pictures from them after the fact almost two weeks later. It is always something, I wonder if the RNs and CNAs are all doing a great job or just the bare minimum?

The nurses and other staff members are very amicable. However, horrible phone service. I have to call 2-3 times for someone to pick up the phone and when I do reach someone, they always transfer me to the wrong person.

We should not only write mediocre reviews but admit when the service and care has gotten better/improved.I am pleased to say that no one, absolutely no one requested me to write this review or even discuss my previous not so good review with my immediate family. No staff member contacted my siblings and complained about my previous reviews or incite or requested from them or me to remove or change it.I am very happy and pleased that that my elderly mother age 89 years old has been able to make it during this terrible pandemic. Had it not been for the dedication and caring staff, my mother Caridad Morejon Guerra a/k/a Caridad M. Menendez would have not been able to make it.Special thanks to the following nurses just to mention a few: Karelvis, Vivian, Maria Jose, Elio, Giovanny. Thank you for your extra care with my mother and others during these terrible and crucial times. Also, Alvaro video chat assigned personnel. Thanks for your patience with me too.

They took realy good care of my dad. Excellent care and staff.

I think the ladies are very nice and have helped my father when he was at this nursing home. I have to say this but I think it is very unprofessional that some of my fathers belongings were misplaced. I understand that they are very busy. It took them over 6 months to find it. The only thing that we did was to ask for help so that the lady in charge wouldnt feel overwhelmed. IT is call team work. IF something is lost it is better for more than one person to help so that the others can do other things. The lady in charge of that room gave my mom a cold shoulder. That was very unprofessional. Their job is to help others and not take it personally.

This place is really like hell. Its disgusting and dirty from the inside. It should be closed down. The nurses even give you some bad attitude.

This place is as bad as the rest of the geriatric facilities for the poor, in Miami and the rest of the country .If you have a certified license you are accepted to work on those places . The resume does not ask for your human qualifications . If you are not with a clear mind they don’t care about you,They try to keep you sedated so you don’t bother them and get rid of you because they have a long waiting list for others to come.It is disgusting seeing an elder dying by the daydeteriorating from one week to the other .I am sick and angry to see this lack of empathy towards others . Don’t expect a better treatment for you when you become old.

My dad is here for a while its not that bad. The nursing staff is excellent there always caring for my dad and very friendly. But for the bad part the food is horrible I mean very horrible. I wouldnt even feed this food to my dog thats how bad it is. Also the maintenance staff its a joke they cant repair the stuff in building and the place looks more like a dump then making it look professional just example. The outside area for the patients to go outside the lamps have no lights and its been like that for months and they still havent put lights out there. I think management staff needs to upgrade this type of service to get better. But the medical staff is excellent.

My father was at Harmony and the experience for us was excellent. The nurses, the CNAs, the lady that bring him to the activities, the food, the activities, etc. everything was perfect. They took care from my father as part of their family. I couldnt put him in a better place. If I have to do it again, definitely Ill go back to Harmony @ Greenbriar. My grandmother was here for about 3 weeks , rehabilitation was a success for her .. speech therapist Stephanie is awesome she got my grandmother to eat again , while on a peg she was doing great !... she was then admitted to the hospital for low hemoglobin, 3 days later she was discharged and the facility admission director Cecilia did not want accept her back , legally she didn’t have to save her bed she said her exact words to me were that she did not want to be STUCK with her after rehab days were over and they most likely wouldn’t have a long term bed at that point for her . She was very un compassionate, and didn’t have a care in the world that her staff was doing a great job rehabilitating my grandmother . It’s sad when the administration cares not a bit about the patient and is only worried about the money and extra work they might have to do to find her long term placement. It’s heartbreaking that my 94 yr old grandmother was doing so well in this facility and they immediately gave her bed up after 3 days and rejected her to return and continue to receive therapy to eat on her own again . Now to start all over again somewhere else... it’s really sad that the elderly are tossed around like hot potatoes.i rate a 2 because they didn’t accept her back knowing she was being treatment was improving. They don’t care about the patient it’s all about the money and convinience.

No one leaves this place in better condition then when they came in. The food is served cold. My grandmother almost fell because the bed was in such horrible condition. The wrong food was brought to her 3 times. The staff only speaks creole well, no english or spanish. They must have pinched her 3 times to test for diabetes and my grandmother is not diabetic, she just broke her leg. I would not recommend this treatment center to anybody.

I was visiting a family friend recently and was disgusted that they allow smoking outside in the garden area and in front of the facility. Gross!

Horrible place. In a week and a half no one doctor passed by, the time for therapy less than an hour. My father was sleeping all the time and in a wheelchair.I took him out under my responsibility.

My grand father is staying at this place. Conditions are horrible, as well as the service. The place stinks.

Unfortunately, the elderly are not considered to be, unfortunately, they have to come here, this place is totally disgusting, the hygiene of both the patient and the Center is minimal, the pestilence is unbearable, I am looking for a place to complain
