Visiting golden glades gave me warmth and comfort knowing my family member was in good hands. The new administrator’s vibe is always happy, professional, and welcoming. Social worker, is always willing to provide assistance and reassurance regarding my family member. their dedication and passion for my family career are apparent. takes extraordinary care of patients’ needs, as well as, their compassionate nature when working with patients’ family members. transition from the facility to our home was excellent. The discharge process went smoothly and I found the staff members to be extremely accommodating to my family’s needs. Thank you Golden Glades. First and foremost I wanted to thank the staff for their dedication and commitment in taking excellent care of my gramps... They admitted him in a timely manor and cared for him as though he were their own family. We got through this incredibly difficult time with everyones help!!!

This was a great place, helped my cousin recover back 100% and everyone was very attentive, especially the new case manger Oybin she is very nice!

I had an incredible experience with the Assistant Director of Nursing and Administration. After speaking with the ADON and administrator, my impression was they are dedicated and care for the residents and their staff. The building has made major improvements.

All of the hardworking staff at Golden Glades are truly wonderful. My mom came to them for physical rehab when she couldnt even sit up on her own and now she can walk around the house with assistance. Marvel, the Director of Social Services, set me up with everything when bringing my mom to help take care of her, and I couldnt be more thankful.

My brother was a resident/patient at this facility as a result of a motorcycle accident. The therapy was horrible, they would leave him with diapers too long, he developed atrophy etc. the therapist told me my brother would never walk again and his mental capacity was that of a 5 year old. I moved him out and now he’s at a REAL facility and he’s doing amazing. He’s walking somewhat and he will walk again. His mental state is that of his age 57. I will be escalating this. Do not take your family member there. The therapist told me all of this without having X-rays, appointments with Orthos, neurologist or anything. It was his opinion with no facts.

Some of the personal are very rude. When dropping off supplies for the patients they are not receiving them.

I have called this facility numerous times to speak to the administration department, each time I am transfer to this department, my calls are disconnected. This facility alienate customers, they are rude and have no phone etiquette.

Do you like you human rights taken away? Do you like a staff treating the patients like a 3rd class citizens then this place is for your loved one. Awful would not recommend.

DO NOT SEND a loved one here.* I was told that they do not accept credit cards/debit cards/checks for copies of medical records. I was told I had to pay CASH. Which I was given a HAND WRITTEN receipt for. I paid the cash at the start of a business week and I was promised that I would receive the records by 3PM for pick up at the location writhing the next 72 hours. When I arrived on the third day I was informed that Harvey in medical records was unable to complete my request. He never notified me there was an issue. I have sent NUMEROUS faxes in reference to loved ones care, staff would claim they never received them. I HAVE proof the faxes went through with confirmations. Family members sent my father gifts and cards, never were given to my father. They just held everything. Nurses have ZERO sense of urgency or compassion.

Displace I would did it five when I first got there with a patient. Now Im giving it a one because the staff its not clear what they supposed to do. The place always smells dirty. Its like the staff dont have any knowledge when it come down to what their patients need special to the CNA.. it was a way I can get my patient out of there to a better environment and the people that care for them I would. Its like people is going to died there. I just dont like to place it all thats why I gave it one star.

Would NOT accept credit card, debit card or check form of payment for medical records. Cash only. Medical records were not produced. 72 time frame given, demanded cash refund, money was refunded out of a huge office drawer (not locked) containing rolls of cash. Bundeled in rubber bands.ALSO THEY HAVE LOST THEIR GOVERNMENT FUNDING DUE TO ALL THEIR SKETCHY STUFF.

As an EMT this place is dirty, the beds don’t work, the nurses are horrible and rude. Plus the supervisor doesn’t do there job. Plus they just laugh in your face when you are asking for help and assistance.

I agree with every one, please DO NOT send your love one to this place, everyone there is rude, there is only 2 nurses that are good, the nurse supervisor and the doctor super rude, I think they all went to the same RUDE school, my husband is there and I am trying very hard to move him to another facility, I call and they hung up on you. If you care for your loved one do not send them here. My son complained of not enough food and drinks and poor care. I also could not communicate with him by phone for the last two months as phone in his room was broken. He passed away without any notice or reason. Beware!

Phones have been down two weeks and keep getting the run around, not able to reach Love one.

During the time I worked there, the director of nursing was Janice Cooper, a completely clueless lady. She was not the type you would ever see in the halls interacting with patients or coworkers, she was the type who would hide out in her office constantly editing patients charts, forging documentation and rely on hallway gossip to make managerial decisions. The charge nurse on the floor Jodie Hernandez-Mcguire, a former drug addict whose mugshot and arrest records for obtaining oxycodone using a forged script is readily available with a quick internet search but, somehow, slipped passed the supposed level 2 background check that is done on each employee, was always asking floor nurses for their cart keys and would steal narcotics from the narcotics box. She did this to me once and I never made the mistake of handing her over my key just because she was my immediate supervisor. Patients were running lucrative illegal drug distribution rings straight out of the facility by pretending to swallow their narcotics and then dealing it to other patients and constant, random visitors that would come by. It was a little ingenious to be frank. The last straw for me, however, was the inappropriate behavior of the Assistant Director of Nursing, some Middle-Eastern guy named Sol. He seemed very nice and very involved at first. One day my car broke down a few blocks away from the facility while I was on my way to work and I called to let him know I was going to run about 15 minutes late because I had to wait for the tow truck guy to hitch up my car and finish the paperwork before getting a ride to work in the tow truck. The ADON was nice enough to offer me a ride since I was only 6 blocks away. Getting in that car was definitely in my top 5 worst mistakes in my life. When I was in his car he put his hand on my thigh and squeezed, made unwanted advances towards me and attempted to stick his tongue in my mouth. It was all very awkward and so gross. He is old enough to be my father. I told my husband and he was livid and asked me to quit without notice. I still gave them a two weeks notice and parted ways with them. Reporting these matters to the fat slob, Sandy, who heads up human resources was pointless since management gave her free donuts on a regular basis. Im not joking. Reporting them to the Agency for Healthcare Administration was futile because the owner of the facility, Philip, has people from AHCA in his pocket who warns him when a surprise visit is coming, exactly what they are looking for and who made the report. This place certainly taught me a lot of lessons but, one thing is for certain, I would never ever dream of going back and would not send my worst enemy here. If you want your loved ones to be mistreated, overlooked and die a very slow and miserable death, send them here.

This place has the be the most uncaring and dirty facility i have ever walked in to. My dad was transferred there from Jackson Trauma Center to finish his recuperation and have to say that i have had to argue with the staff and nurses every single day, These people dont care if the patients are peed on or even if they need their help, theya re there just to collect a paycheck. i walked in the other day and they had transferred my dad to a room with a broken AC, i saw dirty gloves and napkins on the floor, it smelled like piss from 3 days ago. DO NOT EVER TAKE YOUR FAMILY MEMBER THERE, you will not be at peace that they are being taken care of like they should.

The service of attention to the relatives of the patients is very deficient. Especially calling the place by phone is one of the most frustrating experiences there is.I wish to improve these aspects and treat the patients relatives better.Thank you very much for your attention.
