Horrible! The nurse told that my sister would not be able to receive 24 hr care and that no hospice care would either.I explained to nurse Orlando that my sister was terminal and bed ridden, could not breathe well and the was consistent. She also lived alone his response was the most he can do was visit for an hour or two for two days and that was it. Well I called Vita hospice and they immediately told me that needed to evaluate my sister’s condition and would let me know. Thirty minutes later they called that we could leave in hospital hospice with 24 hour care. Wow imagine if I had listened to Bristol. Later on Bristol called me to tell me they would try to give her 24 consistent care , which I refused.

I have no experience with hospices, but I can say my experience with Bristol, my mother was never with a terminal illness, she had stones in the gallbladder and they were removed with an endoscopy, in the hospital, the Bristol Hospice doctor told me that I had to put her in hospice, and I accepted, my mother was normalized after a few days at home, and I decided to take her out of hospice, when the nurse heard about this, hecalled me on the phone and said: do not take her away from Hospice that my mom only has 6 months of life,what kind of trash, I took my mom to her doctor (PCP) who knows her for more than 5 years and she told me that many of the Hospices are a fraud for people like my moms case that is not terminal. My question: what kind of person without a heart or knowledge, tells a child that his mother will die in 6 months, this storyhappened to me. BE CAREFUL WITH BRISTOL.
