Terrible scheduling practices. Scheduled with wrong times, in wrong order, did not get insurance approval before scheduling so they had to cancel last minute. This has cost me $200 in work time due to having to get a sub and take the day off.

OMG! It is so unbelievable to find EXCEPTIONAL people in healthcare, but I found two in the same office. I went to Banner imaging at 6424 Southern, Mesa, AZ for a CT. Never having had a CT before, I had no idea what to expect. Both Bernice, who took blood, started my IV, and briefed me on the procedure, and Tabitha, who put me in the machine, explained everything, and assurred me that she was right there if I needed her... both ladies were fun, friendly, personable, informative, reassuring, HUMAN and professional. I left feeling like I had been to Disneyland with my best friends and wanted to do it again. I got so use to people who just go through the motions, who make it clear you are just one of hundreds they see each day, who act robotic. What a refreshing and unexpected treasure I encountered at Banner on Southern. WAY TO GO BERNICE AND TABITHA. Thank you so much.

Very rude and impatient staff. From front desk to staff taking me to the back room. The only friendly person was the MRI tech. I thought the Ultrasound tech was rude as well. She didnt allow me to use bathroom . I just went not like I can hold it for 30 mins. I have over active bladder especially when Im nervous. I used 4 different bathrooms at this building. All bathrooms had NO toilet paper NO toilet seat covers. I complained but no one cares. Im so glad Im out of there. I hope I dont have to return to this

My wife went in for a CT of her stomach. They gave her IV contrast even though she tried to tell them it was supposed to be with oral contrast. They called her 2 hours later and said they had done the wrong CT, and that she needed to make another appointment and do it again with oral contrast, which she did. The day before her doctors appointment to find out the results of the CT she went to the ER for severe stomach pain. They could not find the oral contrast CT results, only 2 copies of the wrong CT. Banner Imaging did 2 CTs and still didnt get the correct test results. So, she had to do yet another CT in the ER. Im sure the insurance company will be really pleased when they get the bill for 3 CTs.

I woke up this morning with some labor problems. Im in my first trimester and it really scared me. I got a appointment for an ultra sound at this location. A couple hours before my appointment I got a call saying they needed to switch me to a later appointment. I showed up and they said my appointment was the previous one and that I couldn’t be seen. Today has been pretty hard and I just left and had a little breakdown. I wish they were better at comunicating, and I wish my experience was better.

5.19.21 The front desk is terrible. They treat the customers very badly. They had an attitude with me and also with several other customers. I am several years younger than most of the people coming in. Can you please train the front desk staff to treat people customers with 100% respect. We all come in with some type of ailment and these people should be showing more compassion and caring than having an attitude. This is very disturbing to watch the front desk treat people like this. I have a 4 degree in management I would have this resolved ASAP.

All the staff at the front desk are super rude to every patient that walks in the door. I sat here watching a handful of older people get treated as if they weren’t human. It was very sad to watch these older people get treated with such disrespect. We will never use this location again.Finally get called back after waiting an hour and 15 mins. To just be told to change into a gown and someone will be with us. Sat there for 25 while everyone after us was helped and taken and had changed and left.Going on 2 hours here now for an MRI that I knew of to also now an X-ray that I wasn’t aware of.Staff here in the back is also extremely rude and short with you if you have questions. NEVER AGAIN WITH THIS PLACE.

My doctor’s office sent over my Order for an MRI on 12/01/2020. I called a couple days later and Banner said they didn’t have it yet and would call me when they got the order. I waited until the 8th and called again. They said they still didn’t have it but if I had it they could schedule me. They scheduled me for their next available appointment on the 17th and said to bring the order. I showed up on the 17th and after waiting for 30 minutes was called up only to tell me my insurance hadn’t approved the MRI yet. They said they called the number they had for me the day before to let me know but the number wasn’t good. I haven’t had that number for 15 years and it was not the number on the order or the number my doctor has. I’m still in pain, need the MRI and missed work for nothing. I can’t believe they didn’t bother to call the number on the order or get the number from my doctor to let me know. I also have good insurance and have no idea how they couldn’t get the MRI approved after two weeks of waiting.

Had an MRI back in April and everything was excellent. This review is a praise for the person that I just scheduled another MRI. Her name is Fran in scheduling and she is fantastic. What a treat to deal with someone like this. Makes you feel like your the most important person of the day.

Friendly staff, horrible scheduling experience. Im on my second reschedule, hopefully I can actually get in this time. This would have been a better experience if you would open up some more offices, that way on a reschedule it doesnt have to be in two weeks. Automated reminder calls or taking down my email to send me reminders could help. Anything that better equips me to get to my appointment on time. All this would also help by not inconveniencing your employees when I need to cancel my appointment and reschedule. Hoping I can update my review since it looks like everybody else has had a good experience here.

We arrive mid morning, with no appointment, Drs request in hand. Reception was quick and pleasant. Two or three patients were called and then my wife. She was walked into lab at comfortable hand walker speed. Attendant was helpful in assisting patient with proper positions. The process required about 30 minutes. Was pleased that Doctor had the information by 11:30 the fallowing day.

Crystal, who did my MRI, was absolutely amazing! I went into that room with anxiety and questions. (Completely overreacting). And Crystal calmed me and talked to me like we had known one another for ever. She completely put my mind at ease and I did that exam without any anxiety.

Had a good experience at this facility. The front office staff was very pleasant and helpful. I had very little wait time, which is unusual in some of these businesses. The CAT scan technician was friendly and personable. The building was clean and the parking was plentiful. I will definitely use this particular office again.

EVDI, East Mesa. Not called back for procedure until an hour after my appointment time. Everyone was friendly & courteous except Shirl at the reception desk. She was not courteous and not pleasant UNTIL I asked her what her name was then she was all cheery & friendly. She said her name was “Shirl”. This was an MRI of the brain and I couldn’t believe the pounding & noise! I would have appreciated it if someone had prepared me for that!

A big high five to Ashley in scheduling who went the extra mile by calling my doctors office asking them to add a scan my doctor suggested I have. She waited on hold with their office for 20 minutes while she was transferred twice. Please don’t expect the scheduling team to offer this service. My story is a complicated one. Ashley has that sixth sense understanding what needed to be done. The day of the procedure I was greeted on time by a lovely technician (wish I remembered her name) who was kind and caring. I would recommend the Broadway in Mesa location to anyone out there.

I have had gone to EVDI, 6424 E Broadway Road, Mesa AZ for many years. I have never had a bad experience. The receptionists are professional, friendly, and helpful. Ive never waited an unreasonable time to be taken back for my tests. The Technicians are friendly, and answer any questions I may have. The test results are sent to my doctor within 2-3 days. I waited in pain three weeks for my appointment for an ultrasound and when I thought I arrived to the location by GPS I couldnt find it, I called the front desk and talked to Phyllis and gave me directions, and yet still couldnt find it. I then asked two nurses walking around and they pointed me in the direction and I still could not find it. I finally get there after a half hour of driving around, I checked in 10 minutes past my appointment time sat and waited. Phyllis called me up to the desk and told me the technician had cancelled my appointment because I wasnt there 20 minutes before my appointment time, which also was not communicated to me when I made the appointment. I asked why she didnt let the technician know that I was running late because I was trying to find the place while I was on the phone with her and she said there was nothing I could do about it then directed me to reschedule my appointment on Monday when the scheduling line is open. Then as Im leaving she makes the comment of at least you know where our building is for next time. I tried calling the Banner customer care phone line to make a complaint, and again I have to wait until Monday to call. I am extremely furious with this medical company I should not have to wait three weeks for crucial testing nor should the snotty comment or the lack of communication have happened. I have had issues with banner before and I will be sure to look else where for my health needs. I have had many incidents with this company before but this situation has stopped the cake. If I could give 0 stars I would.

It was my first time at the Mesa location. I was very nervous about the test and somewhat anxious, but tech Lex had such a wonderful sense of humor, I managed to calm down and relax for the entire duration of my test. I took my grandpa here for his MRI.The staff were really friendly.They committed to their apportionments which was great also.We had a 11:10 am appointment and got there around 11:05 am. We got in within a couple of minutes.I guess the other people waiting there did not have an appointment since we got in before them even though they got there before us.We had to wait 10 minutes because they were behind, but that didnt made me mad since they were friendly and the environment was positive.Thats my review of this place, I did this on my own. They did not influence me on writing this review.

Very clean, professional, on time,! It was nice to be able to go in and not have to wait for a very long time. The check and gals were efficient, friendly, knowledgeable . And the technician did a great job made me feel very comfortable, I was able to bring my husband back with me so I wasnt alone. That was nice that was very comforting. Absolutely THE WORST customer service EVER!Long On hold times. The phone system and people running it are horrible! PetScan scheduled 3 days ago. They left a message yesterday afternoon to confirm appointment. My husband called them back and was on hold for about 25 minutes then decide to finally hang up.When we left for our appointment this morning we tried calling them once again, driving from Phoenix all the way out to East Mesa and being on hold the entire drive. Over 20 minutes on hold again.Finally someone picks up. ( Sidenote, she shouldn’t be discussing how little staffed you guys are as an excuse to lack of communication skills)She Informs us that his appointment has been canceled without any notice! .Because of the severity of needing this pet scan, we then offered to pay cash.She denies us and let us know that we cannot do the scan today no matter what.I think this is literally the second review I’ve ever stop to write.I can’t believe how disgusted I am having to rely on people like this for my husband‘s life.And it is a life and death situation we are getting pet scans done and your husband is battling stage four cancer and it has just spread to your brain.This is the part of the medical world is beyond unethical and disgusting. I can’t use the word disgusting enough describing our experience.If you know that you are facing or possibly facing life changing decisions based on scans, go anywhere else. The last thing you wanna do is put your life in someone’s hands who tells you that the reason the communication is wrong is because they are short staffed.

After that everyone in x-ray was extremely kind (as I was in a lot of pain) and went through the process in a thoughtful yet thorough way. My fist experience at EVDI in December of 2016 was one of compassion from start to finish.My second visit was a bit different. The redhead at the front desk was not compassionate, or friendly. Maybe she was just having a bad day. Lets hope so. I try to give everyone the grace I would want. The other gals that I encountered though were great. Even though the machine had to reset, slowing down the process, and I was in pain, they were very professional, friendly, and efficient. I would recommend EVDI. If it werent for the lady at the front desk, Id give it a 5. Customer service is big deal though. I give it 4 stars.

Tech Tyler explained why I would be getting a IV and that was painless he was caring and professional. Tech Oscar also explained the procedure, what to expect and how long it would take he made me feel comfortable and checked on me often. The girl putting in my IV had very little experience. I asked for someone experienced. After my vein collapsed, she tried to force the saline solution to go in. And kept pushing it in as she watched my hand swell and bruise. I finally had to tell her to stop. Then I told her to find someone with experience to put in my IV. The CT scan tech did a great job. Employees need to listen when told you have problem veins and need an experienced tech to work on you. A week and a half later, my hand is still black and extremely painful. This was totally unacceptable and unnecessary for me to go through this kind of pain and abuse.

I had to use EVDI two times, within a week, for Imaging regarding my kidney stones. One visit was with a scheduled appointment and one visit was with no appointment. Both times I was processed quickly, efficiently, and in a friendly manner. The staff members that I dealt with were exceptional. The wait times were not unreasonable and everything went smoothly. I was uncomfortable and in some pain so I was irritable and impatient just being there; but I never once felt like I was being ignored or rushed like a number through the system. EVDI is a definite RECOMMEND in my book!

Today due to transportation problems I arrived 3 hours early. Instead of making me wait, they worked me in and I was done hours before my appointment time. As I was in excruciating pain, I appreciated it immensely. Staff was courteous and pleasant to deal with . Both days I got excellent service down to IV insertion. I highly recommend the facility.

This place is great . my first mri and it was great . i came in and staff helped me check in. Waited maybe 5 mins and was headed back. The nurse was helpful with my questions and caring about my injury. She then walked me back to the mri waiting room. And literally 10 second s the tech came and got me in the room. Im very familiar with this place. As a walk in you wait, even if your order says STAT. But they do a good job with the testing. The last time I went the x-ray person was not very friendly nor was she particularly helpful.

I asked the nurse if my dad could come back with me and she said no, I explained to the nurse that I was a fainter, and she said she wouldnt let me faint. I also explained to the nurse that I fainted 15 times in the last two days... after my IV I was left alone in a chair in a hallway where I fainted, alone. The nurse who left me never apologized or came to check on me. The worst experience I have ever had at any medical facility. They are lucky I did not hit my head when I fainted. So many things could have gone wrong. Nurses here are too worried about their ego to listen to their patients. I woke up on the floor in the hallway. Horrible, scary, traumatic experience. 0/5 stars. Worst experience I have ever had, anywhere.

I was requested to get a chest x-ray by my pulminologist and was not having a lot of luck finding a place that would accept my coverage. Then I was referred to EVDI and everything came together. My coverage was accepted and the staff was warm, courteous and professional. If any further x-rays are required Im glad I found a place as comfortable as EVDI.

Terrible people at the desk who take your info. The people in the back are very nice. It was 80 degrees in the waiting room and the girl at the front desk would not let me stand In the lobby where it wasn’t so hot to wait to be called. She told me I must have a fever that she was freezing. The temperature in the waiting room should not be determined by the staff at the front desk only.

Wow! Great customer service! It was a Saturday afternoon ... not a time I would expect a medical office to be open. Pleasant greeting, waited, maybe two minutes after checking in, efficient, professional ... out the door in 40 minutes! Thanks!
