Denise Cabanas has been my Dr for many many years shes amazing but due to the front desk staffs attitude on the phone today while setting an appointment I have decided enough is enough and I will be taking my family of 7 elsewhere. YOU NEED TO REPLACE THAT HORRIBLE STAFF YOU HAVE AT YOUR FRONT COUNTER!!! THIS IS A DOCTORS OFFICE THEY NEED TO HAVE SOME RESPECT AND HUMAN DECENCY.

Been coming here for basic medical stuff since I turned 18 and had to find a family practitioner instead of a pediatrician. It all began with Christina Cousins PA who sadly left this office. She was the most amazing person. A newer practioner named Dana Smith FMNP-C, is now my primary care provider. She too is thorough, caring, and makes sure youre questions and concerns are answered. Not only have my two providers been amazing but the front desk ladies are always having fun but maintaining a professional attitude. Wonderful staff. The Lab technician Chelsea was also very caring and understanding during my last blood test. Will continue to come here for my medical needs until it proves itself otherwise! Would be 5 stars, however never have I came here and they not be pretty behind on appointments. However seeing how busy these doctors are, if you want good care, wait it out if you can. Its worth it.

Don’t listen to the hater’s! Our experience is always as it should be. Staff is pleasant and helpful. We have been with our family Doctor for 21+ years. Yes, sometime’s the office is busy. So we compromise and will see another Doctor. Overall best Doctor facility is Arizona for our family.

The receptionist here was really rude to my grandma who really couldn’t hurt a fly in all reality services have gotten to be dog awful since COVID-19 just the pure disgust on these laddies faces when you come in to just check in for an appointment is rude just terrible service rolled her eyes at my grandma because she has hard of hearing and my grandma asked to say what she said again and the receptionist was really rude about it and just didn’t care about her feelings or anyone around her just herself and what time she goes on lunch terrible I think her name is Alex or Alec

The rudest people ever. The front office is the absolute worst they do not even greet you as you walk in the door and keep their head down. If you hate your jobs so much then why do you work there? The wait is beyond ridiculous. Would never ever recommend this place to anyone EVER!

They take for ever to see you and if you need prescription you haft to keep calling and remind them other wise you might be out even though you give them plenty of time. Even if you do every thing they asked of you thing are still being forgot the late policy doesnt say what there grace period is or you will haft to re-schedule even if your a minute or two late. Also they forgot about me for 2 hours in a room. They can screw up as much as they want and they still expect patients to happy and go along with there policy. Go some where else there are plenty of good Doctors out there dont waist your time

Been going here for years. Over the last few years things have improved. No longer long wait to be seen, pleasant staff, and good Drs. Would recommend to anyone!

This place got some rude staffs/MDs, terrible customer service, always have to wait long time (40-50 minutes) even you arrive early, but if you arrive 5 minutes late they send you away with excuse that a doctor is out sick, and when you have call to reschedule they want to charge you $$ because is not 24hrs notice. Doctors are consistently changing, when you are seen they tell you you have to schedule a different appointment (with same doctor) to ask about other problems because they want to charge you $$ again. Stay away! go somewhere else that treats you like a real customer/patient.

The staff was friendly, we didnt have to wait to long to be taken back and the PA Daniel Ballard listened to us, asked questions and answered our questions. It was refreshing to have someone understand our needs. Thank you so much!!!

I really like my doctor, however they really drop the ball on communication. They send you out to specialist, but when the specialist passes information to them they never seem to get the info.Example, had a sleep study done. Results came back, got billed, but the office had no clue of the results. Another example, had a prescription filled, pharmacy needed more info. They didnt pick up the phones or return the messages. It is sad that I have to do all the leg work to ensure I get proper care.

Terrible, terrible medical staff! The doctors are fine but some of the medical assistants are incredibly rude, have an attitude and are clueless of what to do. I cant count the number of times Ive had to fax myself the referrals I needed for cardiologist, endocrinologist, etc. because they were never able to do it, the specialists never received the referral from them so I had to drive back and request the referral to be given to me so that I could fax it. A medical assistant screamed at me in the lobby when I told her that they were never able to fax any referrals to specialists and Ive had to send them myself and that they always send my prescriptions to the wrong pharmacy. So I requested to talk to the manager, the staff told me to wait and the manager will see me right away. They had me waiting the whole day and then someone came from the office and said that they were closing and the manager couldnt see me because she had meetings with important investors, obviously a patient is not important enough

Ive been going to Deseret Family since I was young. The staff can be a little impatient, but for the most part they get done what they need to. Wait times are okay. The providers are always nice.

Poor communication. Poor follow up. The PAs and their assistants treat you like dirt if your insurance isnt top of the line. I have been a patient for over TEN YEARS and as long as my insurance was premium they were helpful. Now they are awful and overcharge for doing NOTHING.They dont listen to the patient and are quick to get you in and out like fast food.

Had to share my experience. the new girl in the back treated my husband and i so well. her name is heather and is an emt my husband and i didnt know the office had one! she treated us like family and answered all our concerns and questions and when my husband needed his ear cleaned she was the fastest and most gentle with him he says he didnt even feel anything. thank you heather for being so sweet! definitely will return if we ever need our ears done or anythong else

I have been going to Deseret for many years and I have finally decided enough was enough. Everytime I made an appointment I would have to wait anywhere from 30-60 minutes past my appointment time to get called back and another 30-60 minutes in the room waiting for the doctor. I expressed my concern with their over staffing many times and they act like they care but never do anything about it. Customer Service at Deseret is very poor!

Wrong meds the last 4 months I have been inside had to go to specialist now trying to get better to go outside and work a little

Great providers, easy to schedule, convenient location next to the freeway.

They make sure to charge you before youre seen, but cant communicate with you after.

My husband was told he needed an MRI...about 2 mos ago. Still waiting for Simon med to get the orders.

I would not advice going to this office. Very high rates and PAs add codes to elevate billing that are in my opinion very unwarranted. Also the staff helping customers check in and pay their bill are very unfriendly to rude. Be ready for long waits in this chaotic waiting room up to an hour past your scheduled appointment.

Dr. Cabanas sincere to heart.

The Doctors are excellent however I moved to a different clinic due to the rudeness of the personal.

Didnt even finish setting up appointment, woman on the phone was rude, bitchy and a smartass.
