After a car accident, I was sent here for assessment. These wonderful professionals are the real deal. So many different unique exercises and stretches for specific muscle groups. Who knew? Im in week 4 of a scheduled 6. Feeling stronger. This is the ONLY place for PE!

I love this location. Friendly staff that gets to know you, and great at setting up a plan for bettering health and reducing/eliminating the symptoms. I always feel better when I leave. They always put a smile on my face as well. Also, if you have kids, this location is great with them and very patient! I’ve had mine come along a few times, and never had a problem!

This office is absolutely amazing! They genuinely care about your well-being. Dr. Z really took the time to get to the root of my problem and come up with a treatment plan. Ive been to other chiropractors in the past with mixed results. After injuring myself, I was pleased to find that this office focuses on a complete treatment with the aim that you maintain your spinal health so as to not injure yourself again. Its a mix of chiropractor and physical therapy. Every single staff member here was a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend!

I am so thankful for everyone at BackFit! The biggest mistake I made was going to another provider after an accident. Within a week I could feel the difference from both PT and adjustments. Everyone here is fantastic and friendly. Liz is very good at her job. Joe does amazing at PT. All chiropractic persons are very friendly and very knowledgeable. Great experience. Went in for back and knee problems and left with no pain.

Gina gave me an excellent massage. She hit all the agrivated pressure points. I was so relaxed when I left and set up another appointment with Gina in 2 weeks.

I recently purchased a groupon (actually 3) to visit this location (Mesa). I scheduled the first day via the website. the following morning, 1/2 hour before my appointment, they called and cancelled. The receptionist said the online scheduling isnt accurate and they wouldnt have a therapist at that time. I rescheduled for the following friday. Thursday I received a call from the receptionist cancelling that appointment stating they would not have a therapist in, she was sick. I rescheduled for this friday, just received a call that the therapist was sick and they didnt know when she would be back and would need to cancel. Same receptionist. When I said this is the 3rd time you have cancelled, she replied with yeah, ok, bye no offer to reschedule, no apologie, no offer to check other locations. She showed no concern or any grasp for customer service. I have cancelled my purchase with Groupon and will not be visiting Backfit.

This is a Great physical therapy place to come to. Back fit has very professional friendly staff. They have chiropractors for adjustments and massage therapist as well. It was strongly recommended from the hospital ER doctor. I have not been disappointed , I stepped into this office. Thank you Backfit I am doing alot better than my first visit.

The Mesa location has a friendly, caring and awesome staff. There is chiropractic, physical therapy, acupuncture, physician, massage — so you can get a treatment plan you’re comfortable with. They all work together for COMPLETE care. I would recommend them to anyone that has back, neck, shoulder and hip discomfort. The bonus — they take care of all the insurance stuff!! I have just recently came to BackFit. And I Love this Place! I hurt my back about 3 weeks ago, I didnt have any money to see a doctor cause my copayment so high. I had to wait for 2 weeks. The day before I got paid, I was walking to Sprouts and saw a poster for BackFit. So I went in and checked them out. Brah, my first visit had Noticeable effects! I slept in my bed! I was sleeping on the recliner cause was too painful to sleep on my back or sides qnd getting in qnd out was painful too. Ive been sleeping in my bed Every night! Im comfortable when I walk and sit and drive. I was blown away by my results, I do the exercises they teach me at home. But Everybody there is Super Chill and Friendly. They know what they doing. They make you feel comfortable and at home. Trust me, im an introvert, I dont even like people, but I like these people and I always look forward to coming here, cause it works. I still got work to do, im on my 3rd visit but theres times in the day where I feel normal and pain free.and that goes a long way, im not so irritable and frustrated. This place is GOOD 💯💪

I had a spinal fusion 1 1/2 years ago so I occasionally get a back massage here from Kim when Im sore. Shes very careful and understanding and does a great job! I always feel much better after my massages!

Came here about two months ago with terrible waist pain. Since then they’ve given me the best care I could ever ask for. And have fully recovered. Took X-rays to confirm diagnosis. Started 6 weeks of physical therapy with Ashley (she’s the best). Just finished up and I’m feeling better than I have in years. Kim gives a great massage and the front desk staff are great too.If you’re in a lot of pain with back or leg issues. Don’t go to those joint places. Give BackFit a call. You’ll be glad you did.

I have had spinal fusion and issues with my neck for years. Dr. Pruni has been the only medical professional that have provided drug free relief. BackFit Mesas staff has always been friendly, concerned, and professional. I have referred all my family members and any friends that need back/neck pain care to BackFit.

I have no words of appreciation to express how I feel about this amazing team of people at the Higley/Southern in Mesa... the patience and love for their patients is evident in their treatment plans they provide. A few years ago I had a shoulder issue. Went to Backfit in Mesa and with the aid of the 3 Chiropractors; Dr. Conway, Dr. Zitnik and Dr. Pruni, and the PTs; Liz, James and Zach, Cindy and the Medical Department, I got the relief I needed. They set up a plan for PT, trigger point injections and many home help aids (braces. tens unit) to use as well as exercises to do. After a few months, I was healed and didnt need to go see them anymore.Until last month. Hurt my shoulder and went for some relief. It was great to see them again as the ENTIRE staff is so welcoming from the moment you walk in. I hadnt been there in 2 1/2 years and Cindy and Liz both said Hello to me by name - when I walked in, I didnt have an appointment. They saw me immediately. Pretty awesome. The new girl at the front , Maddie is super nice and she has been very warm and welcoming since day 1. Fits in there perfectly. Dr. Pruni and Dr. Zitnik are still miracle workers as well as Dr. Tellez.Im sorry that I need their help, but if any place and anyone can help you heal, it is them. Together they work like a well oiled machine and I am so grateful. Hopefully I will get the relief I need within the same time frame as before.

I was referred to backfit about three years ago from some neck pain I was having. Since then I have gone often over the years as well as my kids and my kids have done physical therapy there throughout their sports.Of course Covid happen and everything closed and I didn’t feel the need to go back because I had felt better.A few weeks ago my neck started giving me problems again because I had fallen off the ladder. So I decided to go to backfit.When I got there they tried to talk me into a three day a week program plus therapy. I told him that I had done that with them in the past and felt some relief but with my out of town schedule I can’t go three times a week and last time they gave me a sheet of exercises to do at home or on the road, which I still had.I told them I didn’t feel like I was going to benefit from their program. He adjusted me and then I left. I came back two Days later to get adjusted again this time it’s was a different chiropractor. She explained to me that they didn’t feel I was on board with their program and had no intention of doing their program and they did not feel like I was the correct kind of client for their practice .I explained to her that I would like relief from a chiropractor and obviously I was paying for the service, but she said they did not want my type of business and gave me a coupon to go to The joint.If I hadn’t been wearing a mask she would’ve seen my jaw dropped. I may have been kicked out of bars in the past but never chiropractic office. 🤣🙄Especially when I’m willing to pay for single treatments every week I just don’t have time to commit to the full program nor did I feel I needed it for this issue. As I walked out in disbelief I did go to the joint the next day and feel 100% better.I would not recommend backfit in the future. They were very rude to me and almost scolding me for not joining the program before telling me I was not the type of client and to take my business elsewhere.I’m not sure what kind of business plan that is but I can’t see how it’s working out for them , Turning away potential clients so rudely.

The environment was always welcoming and Staff was always friendly and knowledgeable. Never gave me a problem when changing my appointments last minute or accommodating to my needs. They helped me with a flexible payment plan and made sure I was taking care always!

What a great experience! Now with working from home more then ever, my shoulders and upper back are increasingly starting to bother me and tighten up. Dr. Pruni stretched the area out and worked his way to totally loosen me up and now back sitting at my desk I feel so much better! Back fit has been so great to me and is hands down one of the best places I’ve been for my back. I injured my back many years ago and never been the same but with the help of back fit, I’m back to normal! And now I’ll be going back once a month just to keep up and cause I like it there so much! And to put icing on the cake I had a horrible knee and with some help from them my knee is back to no pain!

I had gone to a different company that did similar to what back fit does. They only were out to get my money. Back fit explains what is happening and why its happening. They are truly giving me my moneys worth plus some! The PTs are so wonderful and really work hands on with each person. The front desk is very efficient and very helpful! The Medical and message therapy are very through and know what they are doing! This is one of the best group of people I have ever gotten to be around. I cannot thank them enough for the time and energy they have put into me.

10 years ago when I came from the York state I was not immediately looking for a chiropractor even though I had back and neck issues. So of course after an injury shoveling rock on my property, I sought out a chiropractor! My experience with Backfit is nothing less than Excellent! I really appreciate all the experience that everyone has there. I wouldnt choose one doctor over the other because they all bring their unique skills To the table. The physical therapy staff is right on point and does not push you beyond what you can handle, yet they are encouraging and a lot of fun.Cindy and Lizzie are old timers lol. They are very personable and knowledgeable About insurance matters. I have just met Kiki who seems to be very personable and accommodating. I have had many massages also . The Masseuses Have excellent skills also. The office always has some good deals when it comes to getting a nice massage.I look forward to Continuing my care when needed with Backfit. Dont hesitate if youre in pain go to Backfit and feel good again!!

Out of all the years Ive been going to chiropractors, this is the best experience Ive had. The physical therapy I think is the key to strengthen those muscles, and on some days their massage has truly helped to get my back to move more during chiropractic manipulation. They have a great staff and are very personable. I have had long term success with them.

A pinched nerve in my neck, what can I say. As painful and debilitating as it gets. I suffered with this for weeks before going to Backfit for spinal decompression treatments. This relieved the pain and re-extended my cervix, taking the pressure off the nerve. But the real benefit came with the neck roll treatments that began to move my cervix back into its correct curve.After 3 months of treatment my cervix has moved from a 19 degree negative position to a 12.6 positive curvature. Im 64 years old and this is far more movement and improvement than either Dr. Hanson or I had hoped for. I actually feel like this is more of a resolution than a life-long maintenance routine to stay out of pain. Obviously, Ill continue the maintenance program but I am overly delighted at the results and the hope for the future that I received from Dr. Hanson and Backfit Health.I should also mention the staff here; they are every good thing that you could hope to find in a clinic of any kind. Even so, their friendliness and welcoming attitude rises above the skill and attentiveness always apparent at this treatment center.I have moved up to Prescott and have returned to my previous Chiropractor but on the occasions that I am in Phoenix I return hear for check-ups and periodic X-rays and feel as welcomed and well taken care of as if I was still coming in weekly. Was lucky enough to have a massage with Linda. She has the expertise to find all the tight spots and will work diligently to work them out. I went in with a horrible headache and left feeling great. Not only does she know her stuff, she is very pleasant to chat with. I will certainly be going back...and soon!

This was the first time visiting back fit on the recommendation of a friend, and they did not disappoint. I went in for a back adjustment and Dr. Conway did a fantastic job, he is a great chiropractor and knows what he is doing. I recommend this location if you are looking for chiropractic care, I know they do other services and im sure they are great at those as well.

I am more than impressed with the professional staff as a whole. The front desk, therapists and Doctors are a stellar team working diligently to improve a healthier body. Also the knowledge imparted when questioning my personal training/needs are answered with clear, concise explanations. If I were to ask to rate this experience on a scale of 0-10, it would be an unquestionable 10 and certainly deserves a five star rating.

I have just begun to visit this company for help with my drop foot (from a car accident). I have been impressed so far with this organization. I just learned that they have a customer rewards program which includes showing up on time and working hard and giving great feedback to their staff and through social media. I sure hope they can help me with my drop foot.

These guys know what they are doing. Ive been to them for neck and back pain due to long hours on the computer and they successfully alleviated all of my pain. 2 years later Im back for shoulder issues due to a car accident and they have again quickly relieved my pain. The 3 Chiropractors are very thorough and knowledgeable about the body. I love that they they use the natural approach of strengthening the body so it can heal itself.I would highly recommended them. If I suffer with pain in the future I will definitely be back.

It seems like this place is only out to get your money. When I first started coming here they lied about what my insurance covered and tried telling me I didn’t know what was covered, but then covered it as I was right. Then all of a sudden they tell me I have to start paying out of pocket and that my insurance changed, but my insurance hasn’t changed in 4 years. They changed who they accept and in what capacity they accept it. They shouldn’t lie. It makes them look ridiculous. Such a shame cause I liked some of the employees as they were great.

Told me one action plan. I paid them. Then everything got changed. What I expected and what I got two totally different therapies.

Went in for a massage and was told I had a free consiltarion they had me wait in the waiting room for almost 30 minutes then called me to the desk. At the desk I was told the 1 minute the doctor talked to me when I first arrived was my consultation and they pressed hard to sell me on their services. Waste of time.

The staff is friendly and helpful, the environment is relaxed and pleasant, the doctors listen with concern and a desire to build treatment around your specific issues and needs. Dr. Z and his staff are Great! I came to Dr. Z with chronic lower back pain. He gave me options of paths of treatment and let me decide what I was comfortable doing. I am always in control of my therapy and educated on what we are doing. Along with his physical therapy team, hes been able to drastically reduce the swelling and calm down the radiating pain in my lower back. Im extremely thankful for everything that Backfit has done and continues to do for me!

I bought this as a Groupon and have not been sorry. Ive been going to chiropractors for over 35 years and have heard everything from I have Scoliosis to I need to see them 3 xs a week for life. Never have I had a Doctor recommend that proper exercises would benefit me more than adjustments. This place is wonderful. Everybody is friendly and welcoming and works together for my comfort. Ive never had to wait longer than 5 minutes for my appointment. I will definitely be continuing on with these guys!

We have been going to Backfit Health + Spine for years now, always with good results. The staff is friendly, the therapists are great and the docs are highly qualified and try every means to relieve the pain wherever it is. I have plantar fasciitis which made it difficult for me to walk. Dr. Pruni has worked with it until I no longer have an active problem. I would recommend Backfit to anyone who has pain or who just wants a good massage. They also have great massage facilities.

I liked the fact that Dr. Z called in another Chiro to adjust my neck sitting up which worked much better. I Dont like the way they try and sell all these physio and diet programs while you are there. The cream they sell Sombra for pain is really good.

Had an emergency situation. They couldnt be less concerned. Refused to even try to bill my insurance for the first visit. Said they have to wait a few business days until they get confirmation of benefits, in the meantime id have to pay out of pocket and they wouldnt bother trying to back charge, id have to deal w that separately. Even though i offered to show them my coverage info. Really disappointed w the lack of care for patients pain and loyalty.

James is incredibly good about taking care of every patient whether there are 2-10 people in the thearpy area. He knows everyone by name and connects on a human level. The front office works cohesively together and they are friendly. My back and neck are healing but I go back because of the personal attention, friendliness, and the abilty to get all different types of treatment for my back and neck at one place.

Looking to get a massage near my house but I guess calling to see what their availability for a massage was a mistake, as the woman that answered the phone rudely said Im only an answering service, you have to call after 3 then immediately hung up on me.

Appointment was at 12:15, finally saw chiropractor at 1pm. Staff never stopped talking and laughing, but the worst part was how dirty the place was. You would think if they would stop talking they could sweep the floors. Never got an answer why they wouldnt exccept my insurance. Sorry not the place for me.

I went in for a massage, filled out the paper work, then was ushered in to Dr. Mark Zitniks office. The chiropractor reviewed the history and made recommendations for my care rather than just the massage for my chronic neck stiffness and pain and low back ache. At first I thought this was odd as I had only booked a massage. However I was impressed with Dr. Zs approach to suggest some further treatment/physical therapy to have longer term results. It has had some positive results and basically is a life style wake up call. The challenge is always to continue the exercises but I am definitely more motivated.
