Dr. Hatch is awesome. He is friendly, efficient, informative, caring and professional. He never makes you feel like he doesnt have time to listen to you. My mother in law sees him to and loves him. The rest of the staff are great too. I cant think of 1 negative thing to say about anybody. Thank you guys for all you do.

Dr Le is so great for pain management. They often know how to better describe my pain than I do. I am a very complex patient with rare conditions, but Dr Le is truly an expert and stays out in front on latest research findings and treatment options. They are not afraid to treat rare disorder patients at all. This is incredibly rare, a true gem.

Susana Leyva is very competent, but also very compassionate, which to me are important qualities to look for in a provider. I feel that she will give me quality care and I will leave with a plan of action.I have been a patient for a few years and think that the entire staff are the best.

Everybody Ive worked with at this place is exceptional and Im always treated extremely well. Dr Hastings is very knowledgeable, very easy to understand, and very patient as Ive gone to see her several times for re-explanation of a problem that I continue to forget the details of and need clarification on again. She always explains it as if its the first time and never makes me feel like its a waste of her time. Shes very understanding and open to my questions and accepting of my decisions. The staff is also great to deal with. Wait times are short and appointments are easy to get. I wouldnt go anywhere else for my particular problem.

I have been under Dr. Soroskys care for a couple of years ever since I fell 25 and broke my spine in two. His knowledge and expertise has been far superior as I have been pain free for that condition over 14 months and I have returned to physical activities. I have stopped going to my prior doctor and will now be seeing Dr. Sorosky. He is definitely a people person, listens to you and takes control of your condition. I had my first initial appointment today with Dr. Le. From the moment she walked in and started reviewing my charts, I knew I found the right doctor. I have been dealing with my pain since last summer working with a different doctor and physical therapist with modest help.Dr. Le made me feel comfortable and she completely understands where my pain is coming from and explained exactly how we can go about treating my symptoms. I am very grateful to have met Dr. Le. She is extremely knowledgeable and explained exactly what I have been experiencing for almost one year and ways to treat my pain. I will be getting my first epidural next week and I feel very confident with Dr. Le’s ability’s and knowledge to help me get relief with my back and leg pain.

I promptly was seen by Dr. Susan with a smile and pleasant mannerisms. The staff copied the doctor notes and CDs of the MRI and xrays from Minnesota (I had been traveling for four months and was able to receive help from the Mayo Clinic, which followed up on Dr. Susans suggestions.) Dr. Susan suggested the best method to reduce one of the meds. My friend, Carrie, recommended Dr. Susan Sorosky when I was in so much pain from a pinched nerve. We did a teleconference since I was in Missouri. Dr. Susan emailed me exercises to help the neck and shoulder as a result of the teleconference. She and her staff are great!

This review is specifically about Arthur Hatch. I drew the short straw the day I got an appointment with him instead of one of the other doctors. He was a CONDESCENDING A hole. Id like to think he was just having a bad day but apparently not after seeing other reviews.It was the way he stated things that was sickening, not just the words. Hed never seen me before and he spent a few minutes to tell me the road I was going down was only going to get me medication and a fibromyalgia diagnosis. Then proceeded to tell me I must be a medical mystery.My hope is Hatch has the pleasure of getting a doctor who treats patients like he does when he needs care.

I was referred to Desert Spine by my physician, who also had a family member helped by Desert Spine and sport. Im a competitive physique athlete and my body is my sport. I take care of myself and my body, but sometimes it is beyond my control. ..im thankful for Dessert Spine and Sports staff and Dr. Hatch who do their best to get to back to living your life...Pain free. Dr Hatch sat me down and reviewed my MRI ..in detail.. and my options. Very friendly staff members, nice environment. Looking forward to relief.

So, this is an early review. I will update it as necessary, but for now, I have to give Desert Spine and Sports 5 stars! I am chronically ill and no stranger to doctors. I have been to more doctors and specialists offices than I could possibly count. Some good, some great and some downright awful! I have only had 1 appointment at Desert Spine but I arrived late because I had the wrong time in my head. They fit me in anyway and we’re really nice about it. Dr. Nasser was friendly, conscientious and intuitive. He took his time asking very thorough questions as well as testing and I never once felt rushed. I felt like a person instead of a number! I was thankful!

Dr Hatch is awesome. Not only is he friendly and attentive to your needs, he listens and then investigates the problem. He has successfully eliminated what had been long term back pain, relieved a painful bursa on my hip, and today he drained fluid from my knee and treated it with a steroid infection. What a relief! I am walking nearly pain free again already. Desert Spine & Sports Physicians staff is educated, friendly and helpful. The culture is obviously patient centered and it is the best medical office I have frequented since moving to Arizona 3 years ago.

Great place. Came in for a neck issue. Dr Sorosky was very professional and on time. Had an 11 am appointment. Was called back at 1050 and he was in the room just a few minutes later. Was very courteous and valued what my concerns were. Listened to the patient and did an exam. Would highly recommend

My appointment today was a six month follow up with Susana Leyva, PA. Miss Susana and the entire staff of Desert Spine and Sports Physician’s are without a doubt the most through medical team I’ve been associated with. If you are suffering from chronic lower back pain as I was at one time (nearly three years ago), I’m sorry for your pain, if you don’t see the staff at Deserts Spine and Sports Physician’s I’m sorry for you.

Went in for a follow up apt for increasing back pain and Dr. Le addressed issue as no big deal staying I told her I have had pain since my 20s..being now nearly 40 my pain has dramatically increased over the past year, which is why I sought Dr. Visits with a specialty Dr. Imaging confirmed degenerative disc, arthritis and mild scoliosis. Dr. recommended physcial therapy and stated it may or may not increase pain, but no direction to stop if it did, but given the idea that it would pass as therapy continued. It in fact did cause intense pain and caused me to miss work so much, my supervisor requested me to go on short term until therapy is over or pain resides due to multiple missed days due to increased pain over the year and increased episodes after each therapy. Upon follow up Dr dismissed my increased pain and refused to complete short term form, in turn put me at risk to lose my job. I am a patient and only did as told with negative results. I do not know what to do or not to do as is why I sought a professional. Dr dismissed whole point of increased and debilitating pain and basically brushed me off. I began treatment because my pain has increased immensely over the past few yrs, does not matter that the issue has been such for many, the reality is, it has increased and is debilitating me and therapy caused me intense pain of which forced me out of work. All notes indicate evidence of ineffective results. I was also told that because Im 10 weeks pregnant..my existing hip pain was such possibly due to pregnancy...ridiculous, as this symptom was prevalent prior to pregnancy as well and documented for the past year. I feel ignored, misdiagnosed and now more stressed than ever that I followed Dr orders and it cost me my job. I am not a Dr. I refused therapy a few times due to pain..only returned as directed per Dr so that I was compliant with orders and I paid price. Dr seemed disinterested in communicating with me on all outcomes resulting from physical therapy, and the effects it has had on me and only advised I get an MRI which I currently cannot do,due to pregnancy. What was point of going to this place!? I got nothing out of it except more pain and will most certainly lose my position. All I wanted was to try to improve my health so I DONT MISS WORK... Great healthcare system of AMERICA....working for you!!!!!!
