Preston and his team were amazing!! I had an airline leak on my air brake system on my RV. Preston send one of his mobile techs and they were there in less than 30 minutes. The tech found the issue, went and got the replacement part, installed the new line and tested and resolved the issue ASAP. From the time I called until they left was less than 4 hours and that included going to get the parts!Job well done and I will definitely use Callahans in the future for my repair needs.

My experience was one Ill never forget. Everyone knows that we need Air Conditioning in AZ. Well I got mine fixed and it took a couple of days, but I am very happy. The biggest surprise is that on the day I picked up my car, when I was told that the internet was down and I had to leave my card number. Mitch took my numbers and said since I was coming back to get my receipt. He was so nice and said that he was not going to run my card till I returned. Wow I couldnt believe that he trusted me enough to return and pay even though I was a 1st time customer. Plus Preston the owner and Mitchs father called me to thank me for my patience and business. I had a engine idle problem on my 08 Ford F-350. It was so bad that it would shut the truck off while driving. The diagnosis took longer than expected but they found the issue and replaced fuel pressure sensor and pigtail. It has been running great for 4 weeks now.

Once again I brought in a wreck and the guys at Callahan Auto took care of me. This time my beater/daily driver died and I wasnt sure whether to fix it, scrap it, or donate. The technicians did an amazing diagnostic. Mitch at the front did the math, explained everything in detail (along with an incredibly detailed report that included pictures of everything) and laid out my options along with his expert opinion. They always go the extra mile and I always feel like I got the better end of the deal. I cant recommend any mechanics or shop more than the guys at Callahans!

Excellent Mechanic! I initially found this shop while renting a Uhaul car trailer. The customer rep was helpful and friendly. When I picked up my daughter’s car with the trailer, I soon knew her car problems were beyond my skills. Needing a mechanic, I contacted Callahan. He made some suggestions about how I could narrow down the problem but after our discussion, I decided to use his services. He kept me informed of their progress, worked on keeping costs down, and when it was discovered the car’s problem was bigger then expected, he still charged a reasonable price and completed the job in a timely manner. The owner was friendly, responsive to my questions, and extremely knowledgeable regarding automotive services. I was so satisfied with his shop, I took my father-in-law’s truck in for service a couple weeks later. The truck’s problem was discovered quickly and the price was much lower then expected. After my experiences, I feel highly confident in recommending Callahan Auto.

I cant say enough good about Callahan Auto without writing a short novel! My first experience was when my truck began making a strange noise and I just pulled into Callahan to see if they could help identify the sound. They had a mechanic hop right into the truck with me to drive around and duplicate the noise and had me back on the road in no time with my issues resolved. Ive returned to them several times since.Last week, I brought my truck in for routine brake work and when the wrong parts were delivered to their shop delaying my truck, they all stayed late working on it to get it to me out the same day as promised. I want to also note that Callahan Auto charged me $200 less that the quote I received from Firestone. These are only a few examples of the professional and courteous work Ive received from Preston and his team at Callahan Auto and Diesel. There is a good reason they are still thriving during these crazy times in the economy! I absolutely recommend them for any work you need and your vehicles.

Brought a Ford Expedition here to have it diagnosed. I was told they could get it in within a day or two. Two weeks later after calling three times, I finally received a call with their diag. Basically went down a list that my 14.99 code reader from Walmart came up with, suggested over $1600 in work. I told them I would just pick it up. So I show up and the truck is still buried in the far back, wait for them to pull it up for about 20 minutes. Pay $168 for the diagnostic and leave. As I am driving I notice a bracket and bolts in the center counsel, stop to get gas and lift the hood. Notice a few other items loose under the hood that was not put back on. I called and was told “we were in the middle of the diag still when you picked it up”. I’m sorry, but there is no excuse for a company to send you out on the road with loose components under the hood and tell them that it’s good to go. I returned and the put the items back on, but it should have been done to begin with. The staff should definitely not make excuses or have an attitude when you call them about it. Will not return or recommend anyone to this place.

Last week I brought my baby (an original low mileage Ford F-250 OBS, 7.3) to Callahan Auto & Diesel for a rough idle/intermittent miss diagnosis.Owning muscle cars that can be eaten off underneath, I am extremely meticulous and always concerned about the caliber of technicians working on my automobiles. Frankly, finding people to do that level of work in this day and age is somewhat of a challenge. When using most automotive services, I typically wonder just how dissatisfied I will be in the end and it seems like the less dissatisfied I am, the more acceptable the result. (A terrible way to go into a service provider). That said, I remember years ago there were service providers that from the onset you knew were going to provide a satisfactory service; but finding that today is somewhat of a curious anachronism.Well, though its almost hard to believe, I found that level of communication, communication and results with Callahan Auto & Diesel. Preston and Mitch are phenomenal communicators that actually look you in the eyes, discuss a strategy and work toward a common goal of rectifying the problem. It was a great experience to realize that this company absolutely acknowledges that the consumer pays their paycheck. I sensed during the entire exchange, their long-term goal was to make sure that I came back and again that is very rare today.I highly recommend that anyone considering automotive or diesel service to at the least, go in talk with them. Youll find the place to be relatively clean and they take the time to help you fully understand what action steps will be taken during the evaluation and rectification of your problem. Further, they are excessively fair in their pricing practices.The bottom line is, again, dont take your vehicle anywhere else until you speak with them. You will find that from the initial call, to the end result, you will be extremely comfortable, and like me, very pleased with the overall experience. This place sucks! They seemed really nice and helpful. All the work they did on my truck is now all failing only a couple of years down the road. They even installed parts not meant for my truck. Dont go there.

My niece and I ran out of gas on the 60 heading eastbound. A Callahan truck turned on the amber warning lights pulled over and towed us to the nearest gas station. This guy was the only person to pull over and help. He couldve kept driving or towed us just off the road to safety, but he towed us to a gas station. I didnt get his name because he seemed to be in a rush to get somewhere. Glad he was there at the right time. God bless America.

Ripoff!! Didnt replace any parts, just cleaned a part only for it to have the same problem and charged me for it. Then quoted me an outrageous price to have the part replaced. I asked for a half refund since they didnt fix anything and they had an attitude. Definitely do not go here.

This place started off a little bumpy, I had reserved a U-Haul truck this past Saturday but when I went to pick it up the keys had been misplaced so I didnt end up getting it. I was a little upset but these things happen, I lose my keys all the time. The guys, Mitch and Preston, were apologetic and friendly even though things didnt work out. I had gone to a different location that night to get a truck and that place was so much worse and I didnt get a truck from them either. So I got in touch with Mitch the next day and asked if the keys had been recovered because I still needed a truck, so they had found them and met me at the location 15 minutes later. Mitch worked with me and was still apologetic and gave me a great deal on the U-haul. I am so grateful that they were able to pull through. Like I said, it was bumpy in the beginning but they have great customer service and they take responsibility for their actions and mess ups and they do what they can to get you what you need. Thank you Mitch and Preston!

Worst service ever. Dropped off a part requesting a quote. A couple days later Mitch called me and gave me the quote for the parts and service. I specifically told him to wait on ordering and fixing the part. He said “ok just let me know”. I called him back later that day to tell him that “I did not want the service”. I show up in the morning after not hearing back to pick up my parts. Without my “PERMISSION” they already ordered the parts and installed them in which I specifically did not AUTHORIZE.I told Mitch, hey man I told you to wait on the phone when I talked to you. He replied yeah man “I have to keep the doors open here thats how we make money”. SNEAKY WAY TO SALES. Do not go here, they will do service with out your authorization and charge you. So I paid the man and left never to come back.

Ihave been around the auto industry for myentire life. Steming back from hanging out atmy grandpas shop when I was young, toworking at Ford dealers and owning a towcompany presently. The customer servicecallahan auto provided me tonight was farbeyound what I have seen any shop do.I highlyreccomed this place and will definitely bebringing my vehicles here.

Please do not take your car here. My girlfriend was a personal friend of this guy, Preston Callahan, who owns this shop. Her car broke down with transmission problems. He told her over the phone that he would take the car and do diagnostics for free. Then I called him and he told me the same over the phone that it would be free to look at. Well we tow it to his shop and he tears the whole transmission apart. It took 7 days to look at. I call him on the 6th day and he said it would be between $800 and $1300, which is quite a range, but it wouldnt be more than this. He comes back 2 days later and says it will cost $1500. I then told my girlfriend to call him and have him put the car together we are not doing it as the car is worthless and not worth even the repair. He then tells us we need to pay a $175 diagnostic fee after he said it was free. So here Im stuck because he will put a mechanics lean on the car and take it otherwise. Then my girlfriend went down there and he has told her to pay off her title loan and give him the title and he will fix the car and sell it for $2000 and give us $300 of it. Is he nuts? I am not giving him the title without seeing any money. I guess I am stuck paying the fee to get the car outta there. At least I wont have to put up with him any longer. I would hate for anyone else to have to go through this.

But no worries, you came to the right place. Not only will they price it fair, but will inform you of anything you may not be aware of. This is that hard to find gem, we all look for. I would and will recommend this this shop to anyone and everyone. They work fast and they do a great job and charge fairly little comore to other shops that do half as good of a job. Im not from arizona. Im only here on buisness. So when my 6.0 f250 started blowing white smoke and idling funny inhad to find a shop quick. Callahans auto was the only shop i could find open on a sat.When i went into the shop i met with Preston. His demeanor was real nice and professional. Not only was he knowledgable about the 6.0 motors, but he very understanding about the problems i was having and was very helpful about finding financing the vehicle repairs.The diagnostic fee was removed and we decided to go foward with the repairs. And talked about our options and bulletproof diesel came up. Anyone with a ford diesel truck knows about bullet proof diesel.Before making a decision i went by bulletproof diesel and toured their factory. Intold them all about the problems with my truck and came uo with the same diagnosis. When they asked where my truck was at i told them callahans auto and diesel. Thier responce was that it could not be in better hands. And they were right. My truck is fixed and running better than ever. Their deisel tech was extremely experienced and it showed.They gave me a lot of very useful information and commucated very well during the entire process. I will be using them again for all my diesel needs.

Do not go to this shop, I went there with an issue and walked out with about $2000 worth of repairs and my issues was never fixed. After calling Preston, emailing him & texting him I never heard back. I went to another shop and they fixed my problem under $150. This place is a rip off.
