We love MacDonald Orthodontics! All the staff from the front to the girls in the back are so kind. The staff really get to know your children and you. My kids loving going for their orthodontic appointments. They love the games they can play, and the points they can earn to redeem for gift cards. We loved our experience with MacDonald Orthodontics for our two kids over the last 6 years. Most of our visits were at the Mesa location with Keith and his staff but we did have a few at Gilbert as well. Everyone was friendly from our first consultation to our last retainer check. They were always on time which is important to us leading busy lives and always on a tight schedule. Keiths expertise was impressive and we love our kids smiles. I would recommend them if you are looking for an orthodontist. I know it is a tough choice to make with many options in this area. I went with them because of personal referrals and a traditional way of practicing orthodontics. Both my kids have permanent bottom retainers and a removable top one that will prevent their teeth from moving now that we have spent the money to straighten their teeth.

They took so much time to show us the whole office and the different areas of service they provide. They explained every step along the way, not only to me as a parent, but to my son so that he was comfortable the whole time. They had extensive visual models and videos to make sure we understood the plan of care and sent us home with a summary to look over afterwards.We could not have asked for better care or service and we are looking forward to having Dr. MacDonald care for my son.

We love MacDonald orthodontics! The staff is wonderful with my daughter who has lots of questions and gets very nervous. The staff is patient and explains every step to help with her anxiety. My daughter says, “I’m always scared but when they are all done, it always does not hurt!”

As an adult going back for braces I had a lot of worries. However, Dr. Macdonalds method of examining my teeth, taking photos and x-rays convinced me that this was the right place to do it. Im now doing invisalign to complete the process of straightening out my teeth and fixing my bite. I am impressed by all the follow-ups that are conducted to ensure Im still on track and feel like I am always given quality service.

I had braces previously when I was 23 years old. I have crowded front teeth that slowly moved over 15 years since I never had a retainer. I sought new treatment at 38 yrs old to fix it back and get a good retainer. I tried one place that didn’t work out then Came here as a transfer. I was hopeful and advised that all would go well and that things would get corrected and started brand new treatment here. The orthodontist here was not able to achieve straight and even front teeth. He was not willing to work with me. You are paying for dr Macdonald to “eyeball” it and if his eyes don’t agree with you then you are wrong. I will have to seek treatment elsewhere to finish. I also developed a click in my jaw from his treatment. The problem that these past 2 orthodontist don’t address is that there is not enough space to allow the crowded teeth to move correctly. They make promises that they can’t fulfill. They shortcut and try to make it work instead of doing the right thing. My first ortho treatment back in 2000 was perfect with zero issues. I just didn’t wear a retainer and am attempting to fix it back.

Our family of 6 have all gotten our ortho work done by Dr. Keith. He’s a perfectionist and it shows! My kids always get compliments on their teeth/smiles!

The minute I walked in to Macdonald Orthodontics, I knew it was the right place for my family. I had interviewed several orthodontists and none of them felt right. When I stepped into Macdonald, I just had a great feeling. It was warm and inviting, the staff was super friendly and answered all my questions. After interviewing Dr. Macdonald, I decided to have all my kids receive othodontic care from him. Four kids with braces later (one more next year) and I have not regretted a single moment. I feel like we are welcome at his office, and my kids are excited to go (what kid is happy to see the orthodontist? Mine!) to their appointments. They have since put in a soft-serve frozen yogurt/ice cream machine, and that just makes it all the more special for the kids, especially when their teeth are sore from getting their braces tightened. Every year my family looks forward to the pool party the office throws for their patients. I never knew that having braces could be such a good experience until I had my kids come to Macdonald Orthodontics. BEST TIME I EVER HAD . . . At 51 years old, I decided to take a giant leap of faith and finally correct my jaw and teeth. I needed jaw surgery (surgically assisted palatal expansion) and found out that Dr. MacDonald had the same jaw surgery. SOLD!!! I signed up that day. After surgery, Dr. M and his incredible staff provided me with outstanding care and support as my palate expanded and jaw was healing. My journey throughout was phenomenal. I enjoyed being their science project. I had FUN!!

Dr. Mac has mad skills when it comes to a strait and beautiful smile. I went into him when I was 23 hoping that he could straiten my teeth/ enhance my smile a little bit. My front 4 teeth run small so I didn’t expect to ever have the beaming Hollywood smile. After working closely with my dentist, he aligned my teeth just right to fit some beautiful looking veneers into my smile. After I got the braces off, I put the veneers on and my smile is fabulous! I had to admire the skill it took for Dr. Mac to leave the right amount of spacing to get the job done. He also gave me a curtesy retainer to fit my new smile. Something other Ortho’s would have most likely charged me for.Bottom line: he knows his stuff and I’d recommend him to anyone.
