As like most people dentist visits are not at the top of my list. However, Alluring Smiles made the visit as pleasant as possible. Staff is not only friendly they anticipate your need and attentive to it. Very happy with the work done so far and will continue to visit them every 6 months.

The hygienists are awesome, very thorough and friendly. The doctor seemed like he knows what hes doing, but he rushed through this long list of pricey recommendations and left me feeling unsure and anxious. Ive had a few encounters with their secretary, she is super curt and impatient.

And I just want to say thank you so much for doing such a beautiful job on my two front teeth. Ive been so subconscious about it for years. Its nice to be able to smile again.

I had been asking the previous dentists on military installations for advice and treatment. They broke my tooth after a long-awaited root canal and fillings. They were not well experienced and cheap to authorize care. All of it caused deterioration to my jaw and movement of all my teeth that I had already personally paid for braces in the past. After the initial exam, Dr. Portocarrero knew exactly what I needed before I even expressed my past experience and concerns. He has only recommended treatment that I need instead of spending on unnecessary procedures. I am truly grateful for him and his team.

Gave this place a try because i noticed i received there advertising in the mail.... best choice i ever made. Took me right in , upon arrival. Very professional, very polite. Had a bad prior experience with a different dental establishment in the area so i was hesitant but Alluring smile did definitely give me the best care that i have ever received. Will definitely be coming back more often & will recommend family and friends here!

From the moment I came in everyone was so nice. I ended up having to bring my baby with me. Although, she was so fussy and crying they were so nice, patient and understanding. I had a dental emergency and Alluring smiles came highly recommended by a family member. Not only did I have 2 broken teeth but I had previous jaw trama and am unable to keep my mouth open for extended lengths of time. I was very nervous and uneasy to get my needs addressed. Not only did the Dr and his staff handle me very gentle and with care they took all the time I needed at the end of their day to make sure that I felt cared for and was comfortable. They explained all of my options gave me their recommended treatment and I left sore from my procedure but able to rest comfortably and the next day I feel a million times better. I never felt pressured to make hard decisions and at the end I was happy even with my fee as it felt fair and appropriate. Thank you to the staff I will be coming back for future needs and bringing my wife and children to you as well.

Gina, Blanca and Nicole were so helpful! Everyone in the office was really thoughtful and nice. Gina is a ninja at what she does and went over and beyond! Their state of the art new technology was a awesome their chairs have a massage option so it was like getting a pedicure for your teeth!

I havent been to the dentist in years and have been looking around. Received their marketing postcard in the mail and gave them a try. I am so happy I found this place! Super clean place, friendly staff, just really great energy throughout. I have found my new dentist and will not go anywhere else. I definitely recommend this office to anyone. I was really nervous before hand as Ive had horrible experiences at other dentist throughout my life. They all were so very kind and non judgemental. They just wanted to help and make me comfortable. Thank you all very much! We need more people like you in this world in any medical field!

Total scam. I came in to get my front two teeth contoured. They said they would do that, but when I came in they Continually pushed me to get veneers instead. Which they then proceeded to say would be $1100 dollars instead of the $50 dollars I was quoted on the phone to simply shave down my front two teeth. They said they would only do it at my next appointment. He then proceeded to say I have 12 cavities that need to be filled for $3500 dollars. Get a second opinion because I didn’t have a single cavity when I went to my usual dentist. Waste of time and a pushy dentist trying to make money on people. Would not recommend at all.

Still best dentist ever!! No shaky hands here . Had an extraction done this morning and I have no complaints.Friendly and painless. Dr. P and the entire staff are helpful and willing to answer your questions.My husband was also able to get in and have the pain in his mouth treated....thank you for getting him in so quickly.If youve never been here you should try it.

He was also very patient during all of the procedures we have had done do far. The laser that is used in this establishment is absolutely amazing and should be used everywhere! I can’t say enough great things about Alluring Smiles!! This place is amazing! I’ve always had severe anxiety going to the dentist due to really bad experiences when I was younger. Dr. P and his entire staff are the first and only dentist that I’ve actually ever completely trusted and felt comfortable around. They are all so kind and attentive and have a way of making me feel calm during all the major dental work I’m having done. Their equipment is new state of the art equipment and the whole team are perfectionists! My teeth already look amazing and they’re not even completely finished yet!! I already thought they were superior to any other dentist office I’ve been to in the past but to top it off...yesterday I forgot my cell phone and was unable to contact my husband to pick me up. Cindi the receptionist gave me her cell phone to use without my even asking and then Laura, one of the other staff members who I hadn’t met before offered to and actually gave me a ride home! Talk about going above and beyond!! I can’t not mention the care and compassion of Gina their dental hygienist and Blanca, Dr. P’s dental assistant. Gina is by far the best tooth polisher ever and is gift from god. I recommend you accept her into your face.

Scam. Dr. P told my grandmother that she needed to get all three of her bridges removed from her mouth, for the ridiculous cost of $18,000. Thank goodness my grandmother had the sense to get a second opinion. Second opinion told her she didn’t need anything done! Any “Man” that is comfortable scamming elderly people out of their life’s savings is a pathetic excuse of a person.

The dentist’s assistant, Blanca is very rough. She works quickly but does not have a soft touch.Resting the devices on my lip kept pinching me.My gums were super sore after a procedure l, she hit them with her instrument. While retracting my tongue she was pushing so hard, it was sore.Just very rough hands with no care.

I was referred here because of my anxiety with dentistry. Im very grateful at the time and care taken with me by all of the staff. They educated me on things that I wasnt aware of concerning my oral hygiene. The only downside theres only one, is that they are not in more locations around the valley. It is my belief that the majority of people who suffer from poor oral hygiene and pain is from the anxiety that come with seeing a dentist. Fortunately the staff at Alluring Smiles take your care and comfort very serious and they back it up with noticeable quality results.JF 5/6/2019

Dr. P spent more time examining my teeth in one visit then all my visit with previous dentist over the last five years combined. In doing this he was able to see problems that I have voiced over the last five years. Impressed does not even come close to how I felt knowing he found the issues Ive voiced concern about. BTW I said nothing about these concerns he found them without prompting.Dr. P has also gathered a staff from the front desk to chair side which exemplifies customer service at the highest degree worthy of emulation.If you need a dentist, need a new dentist, etc Id give Dr. Ps practice a chance. You will not regret the choice.Im always hesitant to give outstanding reviews as the next thing I know EVERYONE loves the practice and its no longer the BEST kept secret!!

I am not a fan of dental offices, but, I must say my first visit to a dentist in 8 years was very pleasant and informative. Everyone was very friendly, concerned and personable and made the visit a breeze, Thank you Dr. P and staff.

Good place and very nice people and good service

The whole staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating! I had an old chipped tooth fixed years ago somewhere else and mentioned that I’d it replaced because it was discolored, next thing I know Dr P is replacing it and it’s never looked better! I went in for a cleaning and left with all the extras.

Dr. Portocarrero has been my dentist since 2008. He took care of me whenever I got my braces off, cleanings, preventative care, and even teeth whitening! Dr. P and his staff are very professional and friendly. They always explain my insurance information and my treatment to me so that I understand it. I have never been pressured to do anything I wasnt comfortable with or couldnt afford. My grandmother also loves this practice! I would recommend Dr. P as a dentist for all ages and all issues!

I came to see Dr. Portocarrero for the first time last month. Dr. P is very friendly, kind and knowledgeable. Hello going to the dentist is never fun and I did experience some pain and discomfort during my visit everyone was very nice and the dental work that I received that day was Far Beyond any other Dental visit Ive ever had.

Got all 4 wisdom teeth extracted at once. I was a little worried becuase i would be awake the whole time but the process was painless very quick and professional.

The staff and dr. P are great. They make you comfortable and very thorough.

I agree with others who have had a bad experience. I went with a coupon...but no coupon was used unless you agree to do all he wants you to do.While there, he proceeded to interrupt everything I said and react with negative comments without knowing what else I was going to say. Spewing a lot of bull too. He told me I needed every crown redone and lots of different work done to the tune of tens of thousands of dollars when all was said and done. And that I couldnt get a partial I had to do other MUCH more expensive work done. BUT.... Oh you can get it done over time and pay it off over 5 years. Who in the heck wants to go through that much physical and financial misery! And soooo many appointments.I got a second opinion and gee, there is nothing wrong with my crowns functionality. I had a tooth pulled and will have a partial made with metal not plastic and since Im 60 with already ailing health and on disability, my new dentist totally understands my concerns with the big picture. This dentist doesnt listen NOR do all the work. He sends you out to 3 other people to get this conglomeration of work done. i.e. he doesnt do root canals. If he is not good at it then he shouldnt be a dentist. But I feel it is more that he has to actually work and would rather farm out and get kick backs and not work! RUN AWAY....better yet DONT GO in the first place.

I suggest you run as far and as fast as you can away from this man. Four years later after he drilled and filled every tooth, some I am certain now did not need to be filled, all the fillings are out. OUT. My teeth are cracking. My crowns have had to be put back on by other dentist several times. In the beginning I thought, hey mistakes happen, but after the 9th friggen time of having to go into his office to fix a filling that had come out and listen to a lame excuse for why it had come out, he wouldnt fix his mistakes any more. Guess who now has to get all her teeth pulled and dentures put in because this fricktard did such a shoddy job? This girl!RUN FROM HIM. If you do not believe me, look at the picture. That is just one of many I have.

I went with a coupon. The hygienist was very nice but every single one of my teeth hurt afterwards and my gums were sore. The paste that they polish your teeth with was still stuck in between most of my teeth after flossing and the hygienist said it would come out eventually. I didnt have that nice clean feeling afterwards like you normally do.The Dr. wasnt very personable and interrupted me or just mmmhmmed when I spoke. I figured maybe he was just busy or distracted. He said I needed to have an old filling replaced and that he believed there was probably a cavity under it but couldnt be sure. I asked if he could look at the x-rays and he said that he wouldnt be able to tell from the x-rays and would have to get into the tooth to be sure. He was also very argumentative about whether I glench my teeth or not.Having worked at a dental office several years back that didnt sound right but chalked it up to me having older knowledge. We took my daughter in on a day that the office was empty and he was just as dismissive with my concerns with her and again wasnt very personable.Just got back from my second opinion and x-rays and was told I do not need the filling replaced and that a cavity would definetly be visible through xray if it was so deep to be under the filling. The only way they wouldnt see it on xray is if it was on the surface and very small but then they would be able to see it with the naked eye. Oh and neither my teeth or gums hurt after this cleaning and they actually feel clean. I wouldnt waste the time going in there again even with the coupon.

Dr. Portocarrero recommended procedures I did not need. He fixed a tooth a year ago that is still a problem, but was judgmental and harsh when I returned and chastized me for not proceeding with the next tooth. I would get a second opinion if he says you need a root canal.

They accommodated me when I was delayed because my car battery was dead. I was late but they worked me in. It was a big help.
