Brookdale East Arbor is very clean. We remained covid free, and some our staff have worked for Brookdale over 10 years! I love it here!together

We are truly grateful to the staff of Brookdale East Arbor for performing their jobs day in and day out to the best of their ability and even more so during this unprecedented lock-down. We can only imagine all the extra work and tender care it takes to manage the residents without the help of relatives and at the same time keeping all relatives informed and in contact with their loved ones. We especially would like to thank them for their patience and graciousness during those times when residents are not at their best. Each time we brought someone to visit (back in the good old days pre-lockdown), they made us feel welcomed, informed and like family. They took time to share how our father was doing and special experiences they had with him. They committed to weekly video calls to keep us connected with him, called us when he needed more supplements or he had fallen, encouraged him to take care of himself, or just sat talking with him when we couldn’t. The kind and caring way they take care of residents and the myriad of little things they do for them is exceptional. Knowing all of them were there made it more bearable for us to have to stay away.

Mom lived at East Arbor for over 3 years and was so happy because the awesome staff gave her so much love and attention. Her final years and days were spent in excellent care and comfort. She loved her beautiful room and enjoyed the delicious meals. She painted pictures, played bingo and especially enjoyed Friday Happy Hour with live entertainment and good friends. Our family is very thankful we chose East Arbor because they went above and beyond for us and we know Mom was happy.

This community has such a warm, homey feel! The staff is super friendly and helpful! The residents are happy and welcoming!I feel like it would be a great place to be, whether it be to live or to work!

Brookdale East Arbor has such a warm, welcoming, fun atmosphere. The associates truly care about the safety and well being of the residents. It is the perfect bridge between assisted living and memory care. I am incredibly proud to be a part of this team and love serving the residents and families.

Brookdale East Arbor is a senior living community with staff and management that offer excellent customer service, compassionate care, and engaging programs for residents. The community is very clean and safe with several beautifully furnished areas for residents to relax and socialize. The dining service offers very high quality, healthy meals. My mom lived her last 3 years in East Arbor and I am thankful she was so well cared for and happy.

My mother has been in this facility for a little over a year. For the most part it appears that they take good care of her. Many times I have had to remind them of something they were supposed to be doing and had not done.I have had to point out places that have not be vacuumed in a very long time.Mom has dementia and is happy they have places like this for people like her.

I thoroughly enjoy the privilege of being able to work daily with such a wonderful and conscientious team. It’s eye opening to be a part of a community that provides necessary care which we all may someday need.

Brookdale East Arbor, is a welcoming and inviting community that specializes in secured assisted living. The staff is friendly and attentive and genuinely care about the residents well being. I am proud to work at Brookdale East Arbor and to serve the residents there.

Brookdale East Arbor is a wonderful community! I have been the dining services coordinator here and we have been able to implement so many great changes here and I love working here each any everyday

The food has been super horrible the meal will look decent but when it comes to having the food its not like it looks. I think the community needs to be more taken care of the carpet is very old you can tell by looking at it. Some of the caregivers are a big plus to this community they are the one who make this place great but unfornately this is one caregiver that just doesnt seems to be happy when helping out my friend always has an attitude towards her, every time I speak to my dear friend that lives at this community shes just unhappy with the services she receives by the management she said she has spoke to nurses about her situations on being forgot or ignored when she presses her call button but it never works or changes anything. Overall we arent happy with this community. Needs to improve with more daily activities and better meals. Were taking step by step in trying to get better services.

It’s a fabulous to live. The nurses truly care about the residents. It’s a fun place to work and live!

Watch out for this facility! They always have virus breakouts and continue to operate their facility!! There are warnings on the door while this happened.An incident occurred a couple Months back where a bus pulled out in front of me and I skated into the rear end of it. I have video of her admitting to the accident and apologizing and have pictures to prove the collision.All I got were lawyers and people that were finding the issue not relevant and not very concerned about my safety obviously. The older people that go here are basically in hospice status. I’m a dog lover and I wouldn’t even let my own dog step into that facility!! Let alone live there!! I am being 100% honest. Oh and they do not know what a vacuum does or is!! Floors are disgusting!!If the facility wants to respond to this I have names of the people I talk to you that I expect to respond afterwards. My dad has been there a couple of years now, cant be happier. The management and staff work hard, do a great job and show a real interest in the welfare of the residents. They are constantly upgrading the community as well. Glad were there...

Do not admit your loved one to this facility. They are verbally abused, their calls in the middle of the night go unanswered and medications get missed. We are getting ready to file a report with adult social services.
