Shes also one of the most experienced in her field and Ive seen her make decisions that have literally saved residence lives. During the outbreak of COVID-19 Kellys hard work and decisive management made sure that not a single resident was infected. My mom has lived at Bella Vista for several years and she absolutely loves it. The dining hall is more like a fine dining restaurant and the food is fabulous. The apartments are beautiful and I really appreciate how secure / safe she is with each room opening to a air conditioned hallway. During the height of the pandemic the staff did everything necessary to keep all the residents safe. It was a relief to know mom was safe. #219

We moved into Bella Vista in 2017..Our first experience with Retirement Living. Beautiful spacious apartment. Many areas in which to meet new friends. Good food. Personal reasons forced us to move to Glendale, Az.We were there from 2018 -2021.Three weeks ago we returned to Bella Vista to find a beautiful, spacious apartment, and the same lovely areas in which to renew friendships with many old friends and make new ones. The food is fantastic, high quality and well presented.We are so glad to be back.

We moved our mom into the independent living at BV approximately 6 months ago and it was one of the worst decisions EVER! The place has declined significantly in just that period of time and in spite of consistent feedback from the residents and their families nothing changes. The elevators are seriously not functioning more than they are functioning. This has caused a number of doctors visits needing to be cancelled for residents living on upper floors who arent mobile enough to use stairs, not to mention its a huge security risk in case of fire. The fairly high cost of the place is supposed to cover meals, which used to be quite good and reliable, but are now frozen salt-ridden childrens food and that is IF the dining room is open and/or IF food actually arrives by delivery, which there are days that doesnt happen and residents go without food. The place smells bad, the carpets are constantly dirty, so many staff members have quit due to the conditions and probably most worrisome is that they no longer have coverage at night from 8:30pm-7:00am. This level of security was one of the primary decisions for moving my mom in and now they dont have it. Its shameful that they have this place open to Seniors!

When I first stopped in to Bella Vista I saw friendly residents and staff. The more I have been in I see residents out and doing fun activities and still friendly. I have gotten to eat some great food as well. I really like how the building is an X. It has made it easy for me to find things and I think it has made for a more friendly environment as the residents all head in the same direction and get to “run into” friends.

My uncle and aunt have lived at Bella vista for 2 years. They just love it, and we are so glad we found this place. They have been very happy with all aspects from food, staff, activities, cleanliness, and other residents. I love how during the last year dealing with the pandemic how Bella Vista took extra measures to protect my family, other residents, and staff. We love Bella Vista that we recently just moved another family member into Bella Vista. 406

I have been a resident at Bella Vista for several years. I moved there after living my entire life in Michigan. Choosing to live at Bella Vista was the best decision I made for myself...I absolutely love living at Bella Vista. The staff is friendly, respectful and always so helpful. We have so many activities, there is always something going on. Most importantly I feel so safe. The building is very secure and during the pandemic the staff did everything possible to keep everyone safe. Thank you to all the staff for always stepping up for the residents!

I just moved my mom into Bella Vista a month ago and our family is just thrilled how she is meeting the other residents, enjoying the activities and food. The staff and the other residents are so kind and sweet. My mom’s only complaint is there is so much food. I am great with that if you can even call it a complaint. 342

I moved my 85 year old mother into Bella Vista in May after months of searching for the right place and visiting many places.I fell in love with Bella the moment I walked through the front door. The place is welcoming, bright and makes you smile. The coffee bar with small bistro tables was cute and inviting.Teresa Hadley welcomed me and we toured the campus. Teresa new all the residents by name and I could see how the residents enjoyed stopping and chatting with her. I brought my mom for a visit the next day and Teresa made her feel like she was part of the family. My mom was engaged and enjoyed the tour and commented how beautiful the place was.Mom needed a place she could have meals at anytime of the day 7-7 with meals to order. She tells everyone what wonderful food just like grandma used to make.The on-site salon and movie theater a great amenity. I hired Gentle Care an on-site service to look in on my mom. Monica and Lisa are wonderful people and I highly recommend their services.So after hearing all the nightmares with moving your parents to a independent living complex I have to say Bella Vista has made my mother’s transition smooth and easy. They are caring people and make you feel like home.

I have been coming to the Villa for several months and have been very impressed with the compassion and professionalism of April and Kelly with there daily activities. They are always happy and positive whenever you see them and they spend a great deal of time on the floor interacting with the residents. They are a great asset to the Villa and I would happily recommend Bella Vista to any family looking for a safe and loving environment for there loved ones.

Almost every one who works for Bella Vista are the greatest. Lisa at midnight is awesome always smiling and works her but off. The ladies Dasha and front desk always willing to help you. And Randy the manager of the dinning room is just the greatest he to is always in overdrive cant stand still for a minute but yet he always has time to make you feel right at home.

This place doesnt even deserve one star. I first placed my Mom here in November of last year with dementia. At the time they were Assisted Living and was told by everyone involved that it was no problem whatsoever for the level of care she needed. In a few short months, the care went from good to horrible. Caregivers too busy talking to care for anyone, or just not around anywhere to be found. They were slowly getting rid of anyone that needed more care --- truly a blessing to the people needing the care, because they sure werent providing it. Now, of course they are not assisted living any longer --- big surprise. They now are Senior Living I believe since April. Since March, I have been trying to get a refund of the rent owed my Mom, and when I wrote and informed them how much she should receive, the reply from Eveline was --- I think you are the only one who ever reads the contract Being a REALTOR, we tend to read contracts. Its a shame the Landlord Tenant Act doesnt apply to assisted living. At this point , they have refunded what they thought it should be, not the contract price. Still waiting for the balance and I have been told It is being taken care of by Rita two weeks ago. We are not talking a lot of money, but now we are down to principle! Make sure you read your contracts and hold them to it.

Every once in a while I have the privilege of witnessing incredibly precious moments. Wednesday, I was blessed to do just that. Let me tell you about it….I love my job. I get to help the greatest generation enjoy a quality lifestyle. I’ve been talking to Diane, from Chicago, for the past few months about her dad coming to live at Bella Vista Senior Living here in Mesa AZ. We have developed a wonderful friendship over the phone. You can imagine my excitement when we finally were able to meet this week. She brought her friend Denise with her and I’m telling you, we laughed, joked, and had so much fun envisioning the new life her father would be able to enjoy here. I felt like we’d been friends for life.We sat down for lunch in our dining room. It was so fun to watch them look over the extensive menu and have a hard time choosing what they’d like to eat. We were hungry. Across the dining room, a resident looked right at Diane and said, “You said you’d sing to me.” We were all taken aback and Diane looked behind her wondering if she was talking to someone behind her, but the woman looked at her insistently and said again, “You said you’d sing to me.” Diane said to us under her breath, “Did I tell you I sang?” I said that I didn’t know she sang. Diane said she used to be a professional singer back in her day; she had a band, toured Paris, New York and all. Denise piped up and said, “Diane, you better go over there and sing to that girl! You don’t know if she’s your guardian angel or what, get over there!” Diane walked over to the woman, told her she would sing just for her. Diane took her by the hand, leaned over, and sang the most beautiful rendition of “Misty” I have heard in my life!.... Sorry Johnny Mathis, even better than you! The woman held her other hand over her heart. Tears rolled down my cheeks and when Diane was finished, she walked back to the table, grinned at me and asked me what was wrong. The woman then picked up her cane, walked over to us, looked at me and called me something in Spanish. I asked what she said and she said, “Cry Baby.” We laughed and the woman gave Diane a hug and thanked her for singing just for her. It was amazing.You never know who you’re going to touch today; I am amazed at Diane and her ability to touch other people.Thank you for this amazing experience. Bella Vista is a delightful facility for senior residents. The staff is amazing, they are compassionate and loving and care for the residents as if they were their own beloved family members. April and Kelly are outstanding, they are professional and always raise above and beyond to go the extra mile to be sure that things run smoothly for the sake of residents. I would refer my own family to this facility without hesitation.

My father lived at Bella Vista for several years until his passing in 2014. The staff and management are the most caring and compassionate people you will find in senior living. My father was always treated with respect and dignity and he wasnt always the easiest as his memory failed. In his final days and hours our family was cared for just as well as he was. At one point we thought we were going to have to move him due to his care needs but they helped us figure out how to meet his needs so he could stay home until the end. My four siblings and I will forever be grateful to have found Bella Vista for our dad. I may retire to Bella Vista myself someday!

Bella Vista has been a lovely experience. Being a previous Assisted Living owner I can truly appreciate all the hard work and dedication of the Bella Vista management & staff. Wyatt & Barbara are great to work with and the staff are always able to assist when needed. It becomes obvious when you walk in and see the smiling faces of the residents and all the activity that is going on. Not to mention the wonderful service that is provided in the dining room, plus the tasty food. I moved my grandmother into Bella Vista Senior Living. I have to say I am absolutely amazing. This place is beautiful. It is like a resort. The dinning room is restaurant style. They have a heated pool, movie theater room, and tons of activities. Now if I could just get my grandma to leave her apartment to make friends.

We have toured many different facilities and finally chose Bella Vista for many reasons. we appreciated the warm welcome from the staff and could tell that the residents would be welcoming as well. The dining room food was very good and the apartments are clean and very nice. Overall, the main thing was that we felt comfortable here.

Bella Vista is a wonderful place for seniors. April and Kelly on the AL side really do have the best interest for their residents they go above and beyond to make sure everyone has what they need truly a joy to work with. Very clean and peaceful environment.

I moved my mother from another community to Bella Vista to be closer to me. I did not realize when I did this what a wonderful difference there would be at Bella Vista! The services are the finest of quality, the food and selections makes what my mother got at the other place seem pitiful. The staff and residents are warm and friendly. For all that my mother receives her rent is the biggest value in town. I only wish I had known all of this before. There is no comparison to any other place and my mother feels the same way as I do. I shutter at the thought that I almost didnt go there because of the one bad Google review from a few years ago. Who ever wrote that needs their head examined!!! Believe me when I say, Bella Vista is the very best.

Kelly and April on the assisted living side are a pleasure to work with. They are prompt in respond to inquiries. I see them actively working with the residents and its a breath of fresh air. I make visits to the assisted living side and can say it is kept tidy and the staff overall are always accommodating.

I highly recommend Bella Vista Senior living to anyone who has a loved one in need of care. The staff ratio is wonderful, and everyone that works there is so caring and competent. April and Kelly who are managers of this facility, go above and beyond with such patience and concern for the residents. I visit many sites as a health care provider myself, and this one is tops!!

I assisted my parents move into Bella Vista in September 2014. The staff there was all very friendly and helpful. The residents are delightful, welcoming and friendly. The food is like a fine restaurant not what I would have expected in a senior living center. I teased my parents that they had moved into an all inclusive resort. My parents couldnt be happier.

The staff is very compassionate and extremely dedicated to meet all the needs and wants of each resident. Kelly, the assistant manager, along with the nurse, April, do an amazing job coordinating with one another as well as with the rest of the staff to ensure each resident is well taken care of.

I work in the senior care in the East Valley and have had the opportunity to work with the staff at Bella Vistas Independant and Assisted Living buildings there. Their new renovations have made this building look top notch. Their staff are very cheery and helpful as well.I work for East Valley Hospice and get to see and work with a lot of facilities in Mesa, Chandler, and the surrounding areas.

Bella Vista is a beautiful senior living residence with an awesome staff, specifically April and Kelly. I have had the pleasure of working with them on numerous occasions and always appreciate the service they provide!

The AL at Bella Vista is really amazing .. April and Kelly are the nicest people ever. They are very friendly and help the residents out in every way. They make sure the place is clean and people get what they need.

I visit someone who lives in the assisted living portion of this facility. Her room is clean, the halls are clean, she says the food is good, and the entry is very attractive. I have not heard any complaints about the staff or the care.

If I could I would give this sad excuse for a senior living facility no stars. My grandfather was moved in several mounts ago and is no longer with us. They were supposed to provide him with day to day care which they neglected to do. It was supposed to be a nice place for him with help. But it turns out the staff were incapable to give the help he need. DONT BRING YOUR LOVED ONES HERE.
