This place changed my life.... but you have to be willing to do the work. Theres so much compassion here πŸ’“ from the receptionist Sam and the nurses the counselors are all awesome but I got the best Ted. He saids hes just another guy on the bus 🚌 but if you get lucky you will get Ted. Very clean inside they work hard to keep up. I recommend this place to anyone. As each year passes whats in these streets are getting worst. JUST MAKE THE CALL or stop by.

This place like many others have said on here has also changed mine and my Fiances lives for the better for the past 4 years. The staff and nurses that are there on basically a daily basis are such genuine caring people who we both love to converse with. I also just noticed they have started helping people access narcan which has literally saved my life and countless others, they also offer hep c testing and put up new job listings all the time in the waiting room. The environment is also relaxing yet still clean and clinical, they have animal planet playing on tv and soothing sounds playing in the backround, salt rocks and humidifiers....you name it, it really helps bring the stress levels down on someone who might not be feeling well or having a good day. These people are angels, especially considering some of the things they have to put up with working at a methadone clinic. Nothing bad ever really happens but theres the occasional walk-in who will get mad or something, but theyre always handling it professionally. Ive never had a bad counselor and ive had 4 different ones due to them hiring new staff or counselors changing jobs but every one i have had has been straightforward with me as long as i am with them. If you work the program right and get to a dose that holds you 24hrs you can eventually stop going every day and only go 2x a month which is awesome. Some people need this medication for life and thats totally okay but as someone under 30 i am planning to eventually be prescription/substance free but until then, this place is a good choice if you are looking for compassionate staff.

New Hope is a great place to work and everyone who works there is the real deal. Not only is the environment like family, but they really care about about their employees and their patient care is excellent. I can honestly say that although I am no longer with the company it was a pleasure to work with each and every one of them who share their knowledge and support to all those that they come in contact with.

I had the opportunity to come to know some of the finest people here at New Hope. They let me know that they are in place not for me to be there forever but to help equip me to go through my journey. From the point of entry you’re treated with the up most respect & concern and my counselor (Mrs. Amey) was simply the bomb. All the Nurses that I encountered were so patient as well as loving to me. Thank you Jessica for always taking the time to show me a little extra love. To the ladies that ran the admin part what can I say, thanks is not enough you all are simply awesome. And to Mr. Joe the early Tuesday morning Guru thank you for your dedication. And to my Big Boy you know who you are thank you for always taking the time to embrace me and for your sit down chats that allowed me to give you a glimpse of who I was and who I wanted to be. Thanks to our Heavenly Father and New Hope I have started my own business, now engaged to be married and just purchased a home in Cali. With all of you who touched my life so Profoundly I like to ask my Heavenly Father to continue to bless each and everyone one of you. P. S. I can’t leave out the Doctors that agreed to take a chance on me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.Ms. (V)

Very proud to post this. Google says its been over 2 years since I last visited this place! Went here for three years and combined that makes me 5 years off the streets and clean. Follow their program because it works, they were always willing to listen and work with me....even on my dark days. I cant say I would be alive today without them. Thank you New Hope.

One of the best (if not THE best) clinics in the valley. Fantastic, friendly counselors and nurses. Everyone there truly cares about your recovery and will bend over backwards to help you. They will go out of their way to work with you if you need something special. If you follow the rules and do what is expected of you, you will find that New Hope will do everything in their power to help you succeed. They improve the quality of your life all around. I have had a fantastic experience since Ive been in recovery, and I attribute much of that to the staff at New Hope.

I also successfully graduated 6 yrs of probation with the help of this clinic and another. I recommend New Hope over other Local AZ methadone programs because they offer more help as far as counseling , 1 on 1 time, patient reporte, guidence and always the staff puts a smile on any patients face

If you value your sobriety do not go to this clinic! They may be able to get you in right now but you are better off waiting for an intake appointment at ANY OTHER place in the valley! If you start here you will have a very hard time getting into another clinic as a transfer and you will be stuck! They dont care about you or your life!

You of course must do the work, but if you a problem with opiates then you will not ever have to use again. It is also approved by DCS and probation and any of place that you might be dealing with. The people are super nice and helpful β€οΈπŸ™

New Hope basically saved my life. Without this place, I would still be on drugs, and a total loser. Yes the place has a lot of terrible, worthless human beings there. Who still try to sell drugs, and use drugs. But I assume every clinic is like that. People shouldnt complain about the staff, because theyre amazing. Theyre only rude to people who deserve it, and that are up to no good. Basically if youre trying to get clean, they will help you. Sometimes the wait is long, but hey its not a big deal. It all depends on what time you get there.

The woman at the front desk needs to be more personable.. I went with a friend to be supportive, and got the wrath of the Devil on several occasions. Maybe this woman should be trained again. With this population the last thing they need to look at is a woman with a Sour Pus........Regardless of the populations plight.... That should not affect this womans attitude.. Happy New Year!!!!!

I love the owner who runs this place, she truly wants sobriety for every single person, even if they dont go to that clinic. The doctor, I personally dont care for, only because he doesnt understand addiction, in his eyes we will all be junkies till the end. That is something as a person wanting sobriety will figure out, who cares what that small-minded money hungry doctor thinks, his mind he wants you on methadone Forever. Dont let them do that, you should never let them decide when your ready to get off this detox assistance. If they dont then speak to other doctors, because I went down 10mg/Weekly and was fine. I wasnt using anything either. Its possible, just dont let this Dr.Shotton put his ties on you, and chose your recovery. He is not anyone you will know once you finish your program here, he isnt here to help anyone. I had to look past that controlling, psychopath myself, so I could have a sober life. Ive seen way too many walk away from sobriety because Dr.Shotton, but anyone out there struggling remember he is not anyone to you, he wont be around when this clinic is gone, hopefully they fire him before anyone else is harmed by him. But if not, just stay clear. The doctor before him was Amazing tho, Dr. Ortiz, such a saint. He deserves a huge thank you for all the people be has saved. I have been here before, failed, second time on methadone and this Dr. SHOTTON has changed the game, it you want to be sober he will make u leave to get it. He only wants to control everyone, because were all addicts and out of control, so watch your 6 around him!

First of all, staff really is great. Front desk lady Sam gets talked bad about way more than she deserves. They all have to deal people coming in all morning yelling at them, begging for a spot or for preferential treatment, passing out from xanax, lots of really frustrating behavior that I really dont blame the staff for seeming a little annoyed about. But they stay very calm and do their job the best that the patients will allow them to. If you want the help, they are more than accommodating enough to provide for you the resources you need. What I learned about this program is if you dont desperately want to change your life, then no one is going to make it happen for you, ESPECIALLY not at a methadone clinic! The staff only have do much time or patience to deal with patients that are only there to bridge their high so they wont get sick. Oh yeah, and if you go here and are one of the people who leaves used syringes in the parking lot, you are the reason the police sit outside the clinic and scan everybodies cars. Which isnt right. But thats probably why it happens.

I’ve been going here a while and I can tell you this is one of the best clinics around. The counselors are all great and need to be given more credit then some people give them. I’ve gone through numerous counselors and have never had a bad expirience with any of them. Sam is also someone who gets talked about negatively way too much. She was actually the first person that actually made me feel welcomed her and remembered my name by my second day and always says good morning or hello even if she’s not in the best of moods which you can’t really blame her about most of the time. Sure she’s locked me out more than once but that was on me lol. She’s usually always in a great mood until someone comes around and does or says something stupid but I’m sure if anyone else went through some of the ΓΏstuff she has to go through on a daily basis you also wouldn’t be all sunshine and rainbows all day every day either. I really wish that doctor Ortiz was still therey though the new doctor (well newish) makes you feel sh*tty about yourself and shows that he could care less about you he also seems to not know much about methadone and treats you gmore like a junkie than a patient. The nurses though for the most part are really nice as well. There’s only one nurse though that is a little (well a lot actually) on the racist side. If you’re white you’ll have no problem with her but if your anything else especially Mexican you’re screwed if you have her dosing you. I’m also not the only one there that feels that way. Other people I know that go here only ever have problems when they get her and coincidently none of them are white. I won’t mention HER name but apart from being racist she’s also rude so I’m pretty sure if you go here you’ll know who it is because she’s the only rude nurse. I still give this place 5 stars because apart from these two people everyone else is really great. If you’re looking for a great MMT clinic I definitely recommend coming here!

Ok, so after reading (or trying to anyways) some of the other reviews written about New Hope, Im going to write a review in English. Something normal people can actually understand. Its hard to take you seriously when you use phrases such as deez ppl take to long to doze my meds n there rude. With that said, yes, it can take up to half an hour. However, I walked in earlier today and there was not one single person in the waiting room. I was in and out within 2 minutes. It depends on the number of nurses and ANY MMT program is going to have long wait periods at times so plan ahead and dont cry about it if it happens to be a slow day.The staff, at the time of this review at least, is beyond friendly. They see a ridiculous number of people everyday and the fact that they were so polite and friendly to me throughout the process of my intake was very, very comforting. Intake takes about five hours, so be prepared. But your intake is definitely the worst (and longest) part. These people deserve more appreciation for their help to people like myself in recovery and I recommend this place to anyone needing help with opiates.

They started out really nice and patient and understanding and they should b like that because they are a faith based (Christian) center and within 6 months of going there, the only ppl really patient, kind, and understanding was the window ladies that dosed you. All the other employees were short and quick to hurry u along and did not take their time or wasnt very helpful anymore and if ur gonna work in a place like that...guess what...u have to b patient and supportive and understanding. They are dealing with emotionally and physically fragile people with a chronic disease....but I do have to say they offer great group meetings and the counselors are pretty good and sweet as well and its really easy to change ur routine and to change ur life (if u actually want too that is).....they definitely changed my wifes and I life for the better. So it was worth it but they need to remember to be more caring and patient. Dont let the idiotic stupid rude ppl there ruin ur day and then take it out on everyone else allday....yea we kno it isnt easy but come on its not back breaking work you sit on ur butt inside in the a/c and u work for 9 hrs almost and I assume good benefits atleast...noone really gets paid good anymore but just work on that u guys. Dont change and dont stress about the ppl who arent there to make themselves better.....thanks for all ur help tho. It was a good choice to be apart of ur cause! I will continue to recommend you to anyone who may need it. I already recommended 4 ppl to yall and the program atleast helped two out of the four ppl! One step and one day at a time! :-)
