It was a wonderful experience, Dr Dvorak was so patient with my son for his first eye appt. Very informative to me for how his eyes are doing and what to keep an eye out for in the future. The staff was so kind and courteous it was almost as if wed all been friends for years. Definitely recommend and will be back in the future!

The optometrist, assistants, technicians, and staff are all a well organized team. Their professional sensitivity starts at the front desk through the exam, fittings, and out the door. Cant beat that service!

Despite me showing up late to my appointment (due to getting off late my own job), all staff members and my provider worked as quickly and efficiently as they could to complete my check-up after I informed them I was on a time crunch and had somewhere to be right after my appointment. They were all so nice and welcoming and I appreciate so much how they respected my time and understood I was in a hurry, all while still doing their jobs well!

Dr. Keller was fast, friendly, and accommodating (not unusual) but it was obvious that everyone in the office worked together as a team. Truly refreshing to see and be taken care of so well. I would recommend them to anyone.

Went in for an annual check up and a contact issue. Needed a contact change. Waited about 10 days to get contact. Went in to get it and have it checked. It didn’t fit right from the start, told them it did feel right. Was told to wear it a few days and let them know. I’ve wore contacts for 30+ years so I knew it didn’t feel right. The next afternoon (Wednesday) I called back couldn’t talk to doctor so left a message. Finally called on the next Monday ( left message again) was told I would be called back by end of day, nope no call. I don’t feel like they really care about the patients just there money. Now it’s Tuesday afternoon still no call. Very poor customer service. There have to be better places.

I have always been happy to go to his store, but when I did my last contacts visit I was a bit frustrated.LONG POST FOLLOWS: They ordered a set of contacts for me, but didnt give me a starters kit to store them in for the night (on me as well as I just grabbed and went out of the store).I usually take a special kind of contact that only can be stored with a specific type of solution. I used the solution the contacts came in for a bit, but was reluctant to purchase (possibly the wrong) solution before the fitting was completed in a couple of days.The contacts dried up on the last night before the appointment, and when i went to the office on the morning of my follow-up I told the front desk the issue about three hours before my scheduled appointment.My doctor wasnt in, but they said theyd get his guidance and call me back. They didnt, and I had to call in a half-hour before my appointment to be told that they couldnt reach him. A new set of contacts was ordered, and Im waiting.The receptionist at the front desk seemed like she was over talking to me as soon as I stepped up to her kiosk. It just surprised me given the great interactions Ive had before with doctors and staff.

He was explains everything very thoroughly and in a way you can understand it and he was amazing with my daughter who went with me to my appointment. Place is a rip off, go to Manhattan Eye Care. If you enjoy paying twice as much for contacts and their fresh eyes program which is a scam go here. They also do a bunch of unnecessary tests. Manhattan eye care will give you a simple eye exam and even tell you to order your contacts on 1800 contacts which is way cheaper and the exact same contacts.

Your visit quality depends on who you see...I went in for a yearly eye exam and contact fitting. I have worn contacts for years and was told I had to pay a $55 fitting fee. When I asked for explanation from the lady checking me out, she said its to cover the cost of the businesss license to prescribe contacts? Had no valid reason why I had to pay to get my prescription.***They did not do an actual fitting. They gave me a pair of contact lenses to go..didnt have me try them on and did not look at how they fit my eyes (which is what a fitting is supposed to be). Also told me they did not have the correct power for my right eye but it was close enough. Didnt offer to order the correct one, but was happy to charge me $55 for not doing anything to make sure the contacts fit correctly.Im appalled at how this place just shuffled me through. I will not be back and would not recommend this place to anyone.

Ive gone to the Eye Doctors for over 5 years now, and they have always been professional, friendly and efficient. Every visit has been enjoyable!

I’m a full time student that has a full time job (I don’t have a lot of time for appointments, etc). It’s time for my yearly eye exam and I just so happened to lose one of my last contacts (I’m unable to get new contacts until I get a new prescription). Anyways, so I only have one contact and can only see with one eye- my visions pretty bad. I was supposed to have an appointment today at 1:40 and I called at exactly 1:40 to say I was gonna be a little late because of traffic. The lady on the phone told me my appointment was actually at 3. So i go home and come back at three, and the lady at the front desk tells me it was at 1:40 and I missed the appointment. Didn’t catch her name, but she had ginger hair and blue eyes. I told her that someone had told me it wasn’t until three and she did not care whatsoever, didn’t double check, didn’t ask anyone else working. Instead, she told me they didn’t have any more appointments that day and I had to reschedule. In response I said that today was quite literally the only time I had to go. I left upset, and she clearly did not care and showed no concern for my dissatisfaction as a patient. I would expect more from a nice eye doctor’s office.

All of the staff were very helpful from the very start of getting me checked in to see the doctor to the last person I dealt with in purchasing eye glasses. It was very nice to see a smiling face on the staff. As well as the willingness to help people every step of the way.

I want to say THANK YOU to Dr Brett Keller. He is amazing and is wonderful in communicating. He doesnt talk above you and respects you as a patient. He put me in bifocals that negate my need for reading glasses. THANK YOU DR KELLER!!

This was my first time at this location and everything went really smoothly. Yes, even with insurance, this was a little pricey, but with all that I got included with my glasses, I’m happy with the service and product. Patricia was great when helping me select my new glasses, so funny and friendly and willing to stay past 5:00pm to make sure my questions were answered and I was satisfied.

Great experience for my whole family and they accept all our insurances in one place so we can all go to the same eye Doctors. The staff is all very friendly, professional and thorough. Its on the opposite side of town from where we live but its so worth it! If only we could find the same service in a dentist office in Manhattan.

They are all wearing masks, cleaning everything and self distancing, so I felt very safe. Good service as always.

I have had nothing but problems with this eye clinic they have not charged my insurance 2 times and then when I did pay denied me my prescription saying I had to buy glasses with them so now the only glasses I have are from 2011

Extremely impressed with Dr Carpenter!This was the first time I had an Appt with him, since my other eye Dr retired.Dr Carpenter is very professional yet personable. He was well prepared and knowledgeable about my eye history despite this being my first appt with him. I am highly satisfied and happy to have Dr Carpenter as my new eye Dr.

What a great experience! I was welcomed with a smile right away and felt welcome from the beginning. The atmosphere was professional and relaxing. Dr. Sally Irwin and her team were wonderful! I can’t recommend this place enough!

Dr.Keller is nice and Linda the consultant is amazing! I love her. The manager on the other hand is ridiculous. During my visit they told me the contact exam was covered then tried charging me $50 just to try for fit and wear. She was rude the entire time about me thinking the fee was outrageous. Her demeanor was as if I bothered her.Why would I pay for something if i don’t even know that it works? When Linda expressed my concerns to her she did not care and told Linda “That’s fine, tell her to just pay her copay then”. How rude can you be? I will most definitely be contacting higher ups. I was so excited up until I had to be overcharged for a trial and she was so rude. Better management is needed but the staff was great. Won’t be back and will 100% be encouraging people away from The Eye Doctors.

Dr. Keller and staff were very professional and calming; Patricia did a great job helping me find the best frames for me, working up the amounts with insurance, and insuring the measurements for the lenses were precise.

I was really happy with my visit! Everything from: Checking in, the handling of insurance, the examination, to having a stylist help me pick glasses frames had been handled very efficiently. Ill have my new glasses in about 7 to 10 business days.

They do not have patient care as a priority, money is their concern. They are not sending things to insurance because it may get written off. Instead they charge you up front hoping you dont catch the mistake.

On 4/24/17 me and my son went in for an exam and we were seen by Dr. Keller. My son has been struggling with a muscle disorder for years and we have been told he is fine and will grow out of it until seeing Dr. Keller and what a miracle it was to FINALLY hear a diagnoses. He knew right off the bat what it is and he was amazing with my son and I couldnt thank THE EYE DOCTORS enough for taking the best care of us. We will definitely be back. The customer service is horrible. I called everyday and the day they came in. I called at three and mind you they close at five and wouldnt you know they were there. No call or text as they promised. :(. These glasses were almost four hundred dollars. I think they could afford to be nicer. Plus this was the second pair they got paid for this year. Smh!

I have been to The Eye Doctors in Manhattan for several years now. I have found the doctors and their support staff to be very professional and easy to work with. They are great with addressing insurance issues and ensuring we get the very most out of our vision coverage. They were also completely amazing when it comes time to select glasses and helped me to pick out a pair I absolutely love. Could not ask for better eye professionals. I very highly recommend them. :-)

The entire staff was terrific. The reception was patient, even with it being busy. She made me and my priority in taking care of our needs. I just went in yesterday for my yearly exam. I have been wearing contacts and glasses for about 20 years now. I have never had a doctor try to upsell me on dailies for contacts until yesterday (I am fine with the brand I have, because then I can wear them during allergy season). They also fitted me for a new prescription on both my right and left eyes, which have different prescriptions, and I told the doctor immediately that the left eye was not strong enough. I was told that I would get a phone call in the next few days about possibly fixing a problem if it arises. I knew as soon as the contact settled that I could not see clearly out of it. I just called to see if I could be seen today to get a new contact in and I was told that Ill have to wait since my doctor was not in today. I literally have to wear contacts or glasses to see, and being told I have to wait is unreasonable and ridiculous. I also would love to be able to pick up a years supply of contact lenses, and fix the prescription on my glasses, but I cant do that when I havent even gotten the right prescription for my freaking contacts. I am not going back here after this experience. I am beyond irritated.

I sent over my college student who has not ever had to deal with insurance on her own. I had called ahead to let them know this was our first time using a different insurance and the first time my daughter would be doing on her own so if they could explain things to her that would be helpful. I had too already done that with my daughter so she did not go in without knowledge. The lady on the phone Mary was so rude when I called. When my daughter arrived they were not very friendly. The Dr.s were great and she had a wonderful experience with them. They did not assist her with finding glasses covered under our insurance and tried to charge her $50 for regular lens. Moral of this story, do not use this place unless you want a good eye Dr. and you want to buy your glasses somewhere else like us.

Great experiences. Never had a bad appointment. Dr. went above and beyond the exam in making sure I was completely checked out. I have been wearing glasses since I was 3 yrs old and know how bad my prescription is. They care about your eyes and your budget. They never make me feel rushed or a burden.

Prior to the last month or so, I would have rated them a lot higher. They have signs posted at several places in the office stating that things are moving more slowly due to a software upgrade. I get that theres a learning curve to everything, but once getting back into the exam room, I waited for over 30 minutes to see the doctor. I have to take time off of work for appointments and I feel as though that is just not courteous of my time. Contact and glasses prices are not at all competitive. My doctor said they would price match on contacts and would drop ship to my house. I went in a week ago to order contacts and the tech was not only rude, but stated that they couldnt drop ship contacts to my house unless I ordered a years supply. Maybe the doctor didnt know that theyd only drop ship a years supply, Im not sure. She finally agreed to drop ship my three months supply to my house. After looking online and seeing that the prices from more than 5 retailers, including some pretty big name ones, were at least $15 to $20 less per box than what I just paid, I called to see about price matching. The tech I spoke to this time implied that I was lying about the prices I found and said there was no way they could match. She told me to have my mom call back with her card number, then wouldnt speak to her due to HIIPA. I get it, but dont tell someone to call if you know you cant speak to them. Hopefully she actually gets her refund, otherwise Ill be calling back. I really like my Doctor and the glasses techs and stylists, but due to uncompetitive pricing and less than stellar service, Im not sure Ill be returning.

I had been trimming on a Rose bush, when I stood up, I turned my head around I ran my eye right into a tiny dead tree limb that was behind me. BOY did that hurt! Anyway, I called the office at The Eye Doctors, they were very positive and helpful in getting me in right away. A scratch on the Cornea was painful and dangerous. With the help of two Eye Doctors that saw me, I am 100% healed and very pleased with their care and services.I recommend The Eye Doctors to EVERYONE!Thank you for all your assistance.Robbie Kramer

Excellent doctors, helpful and knowledgeable staff. (except the reception/counter people, they act like youre bothering them by being there.) Very, very, very expensive!

After making an appointment and giving them my insurance I found out that the eye exam was $230+. I called walmart to compare prices and they offer the same service for $95. When calling to cancel my appointment they asked why I was canceling, I simply explained that Walmart was cheaper. Maddie, the employee I was on the phone with was EXTREMELY rude and hung up, ending with a rude bye.

I been seeing Dr.Irwin at The Eye Doctors in Manhattan for the last few years, and have nothing good to say about this place. Unprofessional staff, inflexible hours, over charging and then having to give refunds. Few options for glasses. Not calling me with updates on referrals. Made me return for a second appointment because they forgot to measure me for contacts. It’s been one headache after another. I’m really over it.

Had two eye exams about two weeks apart. The first was for glasses which Walmart in Junction City screwed up the prescription of my lenses so I got my money back when they refused to have them remade. Went back to the same eye doctor to get fitted for contacts ( another exam). The first trial pair make my eyes feel dry all the time. Got a message my actual trial pair was in which one contact was for astigmatism, someone just gave me the lenses and sent me on my way. Got home, put them in, immediate discomfort for the eye with astigmatism. Researched that type of lens to find out theres a certain position their supposed to be on your eye (dont know what it is, didnt get shown how to place that one on my eye). Took them back the next day and got told to bring them back in two two weeks for what was supposed to be a follow up visit to see how they were working out (HELLO... just told that guy they were uncomfortable and making my eyes red from irritation). Now I still have no contacts to wear and and was there two days in a row at 100 miles round trip each day. Two other doctors on site that day, they all work in the same god damn building. Why not have one of them help me out. Thus far not very happy. Just called them back wanting to see a different eye doctor and was told I couldnt because doctor Irwin wrote my prescription. Really, Im not allowed to change which doctor Im seeing after explaining Im from out of town.

I have felt rushed through every visit at this office. Today I came to pick up my contacts and they had locked the doors before their posted closing time. I called and someone came to the door to tell me they are closed with no other greeting or concern for why I was there. I will not return or purchase contacts through this office again.After posting this review, I was contacted by a customer service representative. She told me a member of management would reach out to me by the end of last week--this has still not happened. Instead, today I received a call saying that a set of trial contacts is ready for me to pick up. This is after I have already ordered and purchased contacts. I regret ever giving this office my business.

Worst lab. I spent 100s of dollars for computer glasses and I couldnt see out of them. When I reached out to see what could be done, I was told to wear them and I would get used to them. Because of poor customer service I went to a different place....found out my computer glasses were really near and far....no matter how much I wore them I wouldnt have EVER been able to use them as computer glasses. When I called and spoke to the office manager, she did apologize and said she would speak to the team leader; however didnt offer to fix the glasses. In my office there are 4 of us...3 that wear glasses and 3 that had issues with the lab at The Eye Doctors. Two of us have left and the 3rd asked where we go. My eye doctor was wonderful, but if the people making the glasses cant get it right and practice poor customer service, I cannot return.

Really dislike. They always try to upsell you and the service personnel have a bad attitude. Im not so young anymore, but my eyesight has always been quite good and Dr. Irwin-who really seemed to have an attitude-was suggesting that I should get bifocles which I flatly refused as an option. She even started implying that I needed to see my physician every year because I was overweight. Thats not really her business-frankly. The prescription feels way too strong. I was looking at something on the refrigerator. I couldnt see it very well with the glasses, but took off the glasses and could see it perfectly. May have the entire eye exam done again by a different optometry service. NEVER AGAIN.
