Honestly, this office made me feel so welcomed and safe. The staff amazing and professional. After surgery, they took incredible after care of me and made sure I was good before discharging me. If you have any doubts, don’t. They make sure you’re well taken care of.I was fortunate enough not to swell after surgery. Pain was minimal and surgery went really fast!Thank you to the staff! You all were extremely patient and wonderful.

I’ve had two office visits so far and have nothing but good things to say! The wait time was minimal both visits. All the ladies in the office are super kind and helpful! The dr. Was throughout with going over the information with me addressing any concerns that I had. I have my extraction scheduled and will update this post op!

I strongly recommend Dr. Cedeño. Removing wisdom teeth is a terrifying experience for anyone who has never been through an invasive procedure. However, Dr. Cedeño is an oral surgeon you can trust. He did an excellent job explaining the process of the procedure while simultaneously reassuring me of his surgical confidence. He demonstrated to me that he is a surgeon that will only recommend procedures that are necessary. For example, I went to Dr. Cedeño with three wisdom teeth. After looking at my x-rays, he determined that removing my upper left wisdom tooth was unnecessary in my case. His surgical assistants were also fantastic when it came to creating a comforting space for anxious patients like me. After the surgery, I healed quicker than I anticipated. I was practically back to normal within two weeks. I can not stress enough how attentive, knowledgeable and skilled Dr. Cedeño is.

This review deals with the office staff not with Dr. Cedeno. I asked for a statement of the dental care a total of four times. Email, snail mail and FAX were options given. At least once I spoke directly to Dr. Cedeno to request this. Why were these reasonable requests totally ignored four times? Well eventually they did send the information. Also they refuse to address me by my title which I take to be sign of disrespect.

I was scared because of the bad reviews, but they were really nice to me personally. I went in for a wisdom tooth extraction. I previously went to a different place where they tried to charge me 1000k out of pocket and at last minute told me about the possible complications. With this Doctor, they were able to accept my insurance and only paid some out of pocket (about 600). It does seem extreme to be put on general anesthesia with an I.V., but It helped with my complicated extraction and feel like it was done quick and painless. The other place wouldve only done local. The bone graft was recommended was well explained as to why. I didnt feel much pain after the surgery which was amazing.

Had my four wisdom teeth removed and I have no complains! The staff and doctor had great customer service! I do not understand the bad reviews, I had the best customer experience I have ever received compared to other dental offices. I had to pay out of pocket even with Medical but they show you what Medical covers. Even then though, I did not mind paying out of pocket for the treatment I got. They did a great job, my recovery is going great.

Get a second opinion before going with this guy. He seems alright at first, like hes in it for your best interest but hes really just trying to rack up your bill with a bunch of unnecessary procedures. Definitely wish I wouldve seen all these negative reviews before going in but oh well. I feel somewhat lucky to have gotten out of there with only a stupid X ray bill. Once him and his staff start trying to get over on you please do yourself a favor and get out of there!

This place is the best what are the negative reviews for ? You want what you want you gotta pay for it ,anyways I got 3 of my wisdom teeth taken out today in total I have 5 but the other 2 aren’t ready 😩 but the process was smooth and not very long around 1hr and a half they talk to you before explaining everything and I recommend the local anesthesia because I literally didn’t feel a thing you will be in and out sleep hearing them talk etc, but you still don’t feel nothing i was scared for no reason , the Dr and staff are very cool people and the dr is just doing his job nobody is about to be holly jolly when it comes to surgeries he is confident in his work and he has pride nothing wrong with that , thank you dr cedeno I really appreciate your help taking out my teeth and your time today !! Ps you can’t save your teeth only bummer. Lol

Going here was a huge waste of time. I had a consultation for wisdom teeth extraction, which was rescheduled last minute due to an “emergency ag the office.” That’s fine but when I finally got in for my appointment, I was told they would call back me that afternoon and in two weeks (!!) and explain what my insurance covered and what was out of pocket. I never got a call back. I’m not going to call them back and hunt them down about doing surgery inside my head if they can’t even remember they’re supposed to be doing it. So my main issue is I waited 2 months for an appointment and then another month to find out it was a waste of time.3 months later I still have my painful wisdom teeth. I even told the dentist I was in lots of pain from my teeth and didn’t get a call back.Besides that, the doctor himself has a very weird vibe. He stood behind me in the doorway of the room staring at my x-rays in front of me for a good 5 minutes before saying anything to me (like hello or anything). A bit unsettling but ok. When he did speak to me it seemed as if he was disregarding what I was saying to him. He just kinda had his script of what he was going to say and my concerns weren’t really heard, or at least verbally a acknowledged.Beyond that there’s no damn parking and they want you to sit in the office for longer than the street parking allows. I know it’s LA but It’s ridiculous. The receptionists are rude. There was a very nice nurse that was working with me as fast as she could because she knew I had one hour on the meter.Just find another place to go.

Had an appointment January 12th at 12:30 and was waiting for over an hour only for them to tell me that they couldn’t see me in the end because of an “emergency.” dont doubt that the unprofessional dentist had to take care of personal issues and used that as an excuse. if you like not having your time wasted id highly recommend going elsewhere. congrats on making your patients put up with wisdom teeth pain for another few days.Edit: If I could give this place no stars I would. I was told the insurance would take 2 to 3 weeks to approve my extraction and that they would call me when it was approved. I never got a call back from them I had to call them after three weeks. When I did call them they told me that my insurance approved it and that they had to get information from them so they would call me back later that day. Again that call never came . Had to call them back and finally said they can schedule my extraction, however, this is where they get even lower. They’re charging 700 something WITH insurance and they want payment before the treatment even though every single dentist or surgeon I’ve been to has taken payment after the process. Not to mention that they havent even discussed what my insurance is covering. Not sure who’s running the desk but whoever it is needs to be fired asap. Hands down worst place to come to and I was unfortunate enough to be referred to there.

The worst experience ever and after reading these reviews I see him and his team choose who they want to give a good experience to, the staff was rude and so was David Cedeno. He made sure to make me feel like my opinion and concerns didn’t matter because he “doesn’t work off opinions, only off facts.” They canceled on me twice just for me to come in and wait for 2 hours just to get x rays done and another 30 for consultation and another hour just so they could tell me that we have to pay extra charges. Was also super rude to my mom when she expressed her concerns to the point she didn’t want to ask anymore questions.

Got my four wisdom teeth removed here. I have Medi-Cal and I paid over $1,000 out of pocket (The bill itself was over $3000.) The majority of that cost came because he added unnecessary stuff (bone graft + platelet fillets). I would be careful if you are referred here (if you are low income.)He ab$olutely love$ to add bone graft$

Got my wisdom teeth extracted here . It went by pretty fast and painless tbh woke up as soon as they were done . The doctor was cool for my initial consultation pretty thorough I would say . The day of extraction they were in a rush it was late around 5 which I wasn’t to fond of . My personal opinion is they get the job done, you are in and out . But if you are the type of person who looks for a friendly caring and very attentive experience then this won’t be the place . Especially if your paying out of pocket for your dental procedures . If you don’t care and just want to get it done then this could be for you . I have medical and still payed about 900 bucks out of pocket for bone grafting he Explained for 3 of my wisdom extractions . Honestly I didn’t care I just wanted my teeth out and I was 2 blocks from my home so it was convenient . Hopefully this helps .

The receptionist was curt and dismissive. Doctor Cedeno was sarcastic, condescending and he insulted me during my consultation . The staff push Care Credit on patients who dont know what is covered by their insurance. Patients who inform themselves about their benefits and ask questions are not welcome at Dr. Cedenos office. The first time I called, before I had an exam, I was told that I would have a co-pay because my insurance didnt cover everything. This was before I was asked what kind of insurance I had!! ALL of the staff members who I had any dealings with during my visit, casually mentioned insurance and treatment plans. This business doesnt bother with the niceties. After my consultation, I was asked to wait for another member of the staff (the rude receptionist) to talk to me about insurance and a treatment plan. I called my insurance provider while I waited. When the receptionist saw me on the phone, I told her that I wanted to have my insurance company on the phone to verify my coverage.Instead of proceeding with the Care Credit sales pitch (for people who have enough coverage from their insurance but just dont know it!) the rude receptionist said she would call me with my treatment plan and the details of what my insurance covers.I have not heard back from them. Im relieved.

I had two wisdom teeth extracted here today. I’d like to start by saying all of the front office staff here are very professional and super polite. The waiting areas is both clean and seats are labeled for seating distance between pts for safety. I was only in the waiting area about ten mins after signing my paperwork before I was called back. Once I went in to start the procedure the staff begin to prep me for the surgery. They were all very gentle and made sure I was comfortable. Dr. Cedeno is very str8 forward and made me feel assured everything would be just fine. I’m a a very difficult stick when it comes to getting Ivs and he was able to get it one the first try with no pain (which is very very rare for me). He was very gentle. I was completely under for the procedure. I woke up on a bed in an isolated room with a mask on (I love how safe things felt). Once I started to get my feeling back I’ll admit I had some slight pain but nothing like I expected. I feel fine just a little sore and that’s it. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone needing oral surgery. They are absolutely amazing.

Oh my goodness, read this. I dont know why there are so many horrible reviews. This does not reflect anything close to my multiple experiences with Dr. Cedeno. I find it hard to believe, for even a minute, that he was rude, arrogant or disrespectful to anyone. In my experience he has always been kind, considerate and has only wanted the best for anyone that I have ever known to receive care from him. I read someone was upset that when asked how Dr. Cedeno was he replied right now?. He was joking, attempting to make the mood a little lighter. He knows we dont want to be there, he knows we are nervous, he knows there are other things we would rather be spending our money on. I appreciate that he has always tried to make me as comfortable as possible. Thank you, Dr. Cedeno and staff for always taking such good care of us. Not that I want to have to go see an oral surgeon for anything, but if I do and I am in LA, this will be the place I go, every single time.

PLEASE READ!! Im sorry its long!Im not sure what is up with all these bad reviews except to say that they are really old and Im guessing a lot has changed. I had to get a couple teeth pulled (ugh!)and my experience was so fantastic that I had to write them a review. The staff was super friendly. They greeted me right away when I walked in and they helped put me at ease because I was really nervous. The doctor met with me and we talked about what type of numbing I would like, etc. I was thinking that I needed to be put under but after conferencing with the doctor, I DECIDED (no one else) to choose not to be put under and to go with a local anesthesia. I DID NOT even FEEL the numbing SHOT! It was crazy.I have never had a cavity filled or anything done that I didnt feel the initial shot. Then he pulled the teeth and still NO PAIN! Im still in shock that it was so painless and easy! I was almost convincing myself that he didnt do anything until I felt the teeth were missing.Im so impressed that my mom had to get a couple teeth pulled and I referred her to him and she had the exact same experience. He is amazing. I will continue to recommend him to everyone.I know everyones pain tolerance is different and the doctor will advise each person differently but thats what a great doctor does. He will lead you in the right direction. Trust in him and you will not be disappointed. Many Thanks to the doctor and to the staff!

Horrible service... David Cedeno is a very arrogant, and aggressive Dentist who is only out for over charging your insurance. YES! i was over charged for services that never happened. I only had Xrays performed on my wisdom teeth because I had an abscess in one of them. No extraction was performed because he kept insisting during pre-op that by me using gas (putting me to sleep) was more effective than using the syringe to numb the area. He even went as far to say that if I dont use the gas procedure that I would experience excruciating pain that it will remind me of being in a horror movie. I explained that my budget only allows me to use the syringe mentioned and Id rather go that route. His arrogance insisted that money shouldnt be a factor when it comes down to your mouth. Now, I received a bill from my insurance company for $3,900 . $3, 900 for what? X-Rays and a endless arrogant rate on his behalf. Im not only complaining about David Cedeno here, but also through my insurance company and BBB

I went to Dr. David Cedeno to have a tooth pulled.I was surprised at how easy it was, and how quick and simple it turned out to be.I was more than a little bit concerned about the procedure and canceled my appointment several times.Working with buyers, sellers and real estate agents and helping people with loans and escrows, it seemed that there was always another real estate emergency. His staff was professional and direct. They always were understanding and when I finally made it into the office it was like being welcomed into a spa. I was able to fill out my paperwork in advance from his website. Its unusual to find a place where the patients in the waiting room where also as nice as the staff.Dr. Cedeno listened to me, asked the questions needed. He let me know what to expect and put me at ease about the procedure. Before I knew it, he said okay I was done. done.I had a very positive experience, and although I do not give many reviews I felt it worthwhile to share my opinion.

All I am going to say is run away from this office and this incompetent man who refers to himself as a dentist. His entire office had mediocre customer service skills. I was not only verbally attacked by Bilani a girl in the office David began to get offended and attacked when I was describing the sedation I prefer and that I could afford and which teeth I wanted treated. This guy is ego is bigger than his skills and that is a problem and leaves no room for professionalism. .

Okay so from my experience this place was terrible!WHERE ARE the negative stars!?Made an appointment to see the dentist on 22 of August for a wisdom tooth extraction. Please keep in mind that I was refer for 1 wisdom tooth extraction! So the front desk girl (office manager) was very nice, Dr. Cedeno and his nurses where beyond rude!I’m sitting on the chair and made up my mind that I DON’T WANT GENERAL ANESTHESIA ($250), instead I’d like to be aware of what is going on and get LOCAL ANESTHESIA($50). And this man comes in trying to convince me to get all of my 4 wisdom teeth removed and even if I choose to only go with 1 that he is in fact not working on me, and then he went off talking about how unnecessary the wisdom teeth are, as well as how safe general anesthesia is. (Oh and also how good he is at giving you General anesthesia, because he has trained other people, “they don’t know what they are doing, I do it for them, I trained them”) Then he asked me the reason for not going with general I said I’s scared I want to be awake I’ve heard stories and the NURSES laughed at me! From that point on I felt so uncomfortable. Dr. Cedeno then decided to send me back to the consultation room so the office manager/dentists assistant and nurse can TALK me into getting all 4 removed!! (Are you serious!!) Well long story short. I called my dentists told him if I needed to get all 4 of them removed then I’ll do it. My best friend witch happens to be my dentist said NO!! GET OUT AND LEAVE CALL YOUR INSURANCE AND LET THEM KNOW!!!The reason why I choose this dentist is because he has his MD. His confidence is in the wrong place he has a horrible attitude just like his google reviews state!SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME!

I only put the star to give my opinion.Because they dont deserve it.Neither the Dr nor his team. In December they made an appointment for me for the extraction of a wisdom tooth. They took the X-rays, the budget was made. And they charged me. Then they sent me to the lobby for more than an hour the first time and maybe a second ovation. They made me buy the medicine at the pharmacy that is on the same floor as the lobby. And when many people come up at the reception. My sugar was low because I had not eaten because supposedly they removed a tooth. They told me to come back later or another appointment but they left me that they needed my medical history. If they had it, they would call me.I waited 15 days and called and nothing, 21 days and nothing and they told me that they would call me back.BUT if I dont talk to them, they dont talk to me, wellON January 11 it bothered me so much that I stopped talking to the doctor or his partner and always leaving me on hold. I should have hung up and called again. Very annoying, I canceled the service and asked for the full payment that they charged me last year.I called on Wednesday of the last week of January and told them that I had not received the check for the payment they collected. They put me on hold and they tell me that I was going to talk to Dr. and his partner. And they told me they would call me back and until today, Tuesday, February 3, they havent called me. WHAT good opinion could be given ?????????????. ???????????????????????
