I feel so blessed to bring my dog to animal hospital because in no other place I have found what my dog had so they help me with excellence attention to my dog

The vet and staff are nice but also didnt seem to listen to closely to what I said. I had to request the stool sample (and bring it in because I thought they would need it) to get my dog diagnosed with a parasite. I think they are good but may be prone to overlooking some possibilities

I had a great experience bringing my puppy to Melrose La Brea Animal Hospital for vaccines and a wellness check. The pricing was good and transparent, Dr. Jordan and his staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and the whole process was handled efficiently. Ill definitely be back soon.

Dr.Jordan is such an amazing vet! He’s so sweet, he gives so much helpful feedback. Honestly, I am returning here whenever my pups has an issue. He’s very caring and very funny. Also the vet techs and people that work in the front desk are marvelous as well, I’m very happy to have found this clinic💕 made my experience wonderful, thank you from me and cosmo (my doggy)

Our dog was ready to gain his wings today. But needed some assistance. Dr Jordan came to our home and picked up our dog. He and his staff were very sympathetic, patient (we were devastated at the loss of our baby) and understanding. Unfortunately due to covid we couldn’t be in the office when they put him down but we got to say our good byes and we’re reassured that we were doing the right thing. The receptionist even called us later to check on us and to let us know our sweet baby had gained his wings. It was a very hard day for us today but we definitely felt at peace knowing that our baby was in good hands

I brought my Pitbull in with some concerns, we were greeted with a warm & caring welcome. The facility is very clean & homey which made my pup feel at ease even though he is usually on edge when going to the vet. He recommended multiple things to try at home as the situation was more minor than I anticipated & instead of charging me a normal rate for the appointment & checkup he don’t charge me as all!! I guess because it was so simple & just mostly a quick check up, giving me information, & me asking questions... but STILL most every vet I’ve experienced would have charged their regular check up fee... blown away by the love, care & attentiveness of this Doctor!! I will most certainly be back for more challenging situations should they ever arise & recommend Dr Jordan to everyone in need! Thank you!! You’re an AMAZING & WONDERFULL Human!!!

I noticed my dog was experiencing issues breathing and it was over the Memorial weekend and many places were booked and closed. I called Melrose La Brea Animal Hospital, and I was able to make an appointment for the next day. And on the day of appointment the animal hospital called to advise, if I would like to move up my appointment. I appreciated that, since I wanted to make sure my dog was okay. As you enter, the staff were friendly and kind. The place is clean and warming. During our visits with my dog the staff were always caring. I am grateful to have found Dr. Jordan. He is very attentive and cares deeply for his furry patients. I will continue to attend this animal hospital. I recommend this vet hospital to everyone. I have noticed a change to my dogs health and he is doing better. I can wait for our next visit.Thank you Dr. Jordan.

Im so thankful for doctor Jordan and his team, I first went in to have my kitty checked up after she had developed an abscess, he was so concerned about how it would heal that they kept her for a few nights to keep up with the cleaning, they really took good care of my cat, checked in with me regularly, even gave her special accommodations. I had an awesome experience at the Melrose Animal Hospital. The doctor and the staff were so lovely. They took excelllent care of my Bengal 🐱. He was scared and they were so caring with him. They even let me leave him overnight and helped me out with the price. You can tell they really love animals. I would highly recommend.

Took my cat to the doctor for his runny eye and instead of giving me medicine for his eye he told me first I had to do a $500 dental work on him then he can fix his eye. Biggest scam ever. Took my cat to a different vet and they gave him eye drops which resolved his issue. I will be asking for a refund. Horrible doctor. Will be taking them to small claims if Im not refunded.

We had to take both of our guinea pigs in for ringworm. I was able to schedule an appointment right away and have the guinea pigs treated. The staff is professional and caring.

We woke up to find our beloved doggy unable to move. We contacted Dr. Jordan who stated that we needed to bring him in immediately, and thank god we did! Apparently our beloved dog had inadvertently ingested some form of poison and Dr. Edd based on his vast experience recognized the symptoms right away and began treatment for the same. Thank goodness! Although it was touch it was touch and go, after 2 days of ICU, our doggy came home! What a miracle and a true blessing that we found the Melrose La Brea Animal Hospital!

I would highly recommend Melrose La Brea Animal Hospital, Dr.Jordan and his staff are wonderful. Francis was experiencing an emergency and our previous primary vet we had couldnt take her. We already had doubts with our previous clinic in how they treated our little one and her care and had been researching new options, Melrose La Brea being top choice. We were very nervous and scared not only for the fact of how she would be treated but we knew she was sick and needed help. Our previous clinic treated Francis like she was a nuisance and seemed unhappy anytime we brought her in just because she is a little hard to handle. Our main concern was would she be treated the same way here when all we wanted was for our little one to be in good health.Right off the bat calling and getting an appointment was easy, they listened to every concern I had while making the appointment and we were able to get her seen very quickly. Upon arriving at the clinic the staff, Lindsey especially, were kind and patient with us and listened to everything we had to say, never once making us feel like our thoughts or concerns were not important (which was a big issue with our previous clinic), especially when it came to exam time, our little one gets very stressed and fussy and does not do well at all with getting rectal temperatures, and we strongly warned of this beforehand. Straight away Dr.Jordan made sure to take her temperature in a different fashion and never once did it bother them that she could be hard to handle or a little aggressive during exams.Throughout the exam we got to be right there with her and Dr.Jordan even encouraged us to be right there talking and petting our baby to make it easier for her. Ive never seen my baby be as calm as she could be throughout all of it while Dr.Jordan examined her. She was like a completely different kitty here.Once they found the problem they had to keep our baby a few days which was very hard for us, Lindsey comforted and assured us the entire time that we could call at anytime to check on her, and trust us we did. Everytime we called Dr.Jordan or Lindsey would pick up or call us back very quickly and give us updates and tell us they would give our baby love from us and that she missed us, something small to some but meant the world to us. Dr.Jordan was very straightforward with us, never beating around the bush or not telling us something important just because it may be hard to hear, all of which was lacking from her previous vet. They went through everything with us, medication, xrays, etc. and we were never charged for her having to stay for the extra few days they kept her to make sure she was alright, including any additional xrays or medication needed, just the basics discussed from the first exam. After missing our baby, it was discussed she may have to stay longer, we asked if it was possible to visit her and they were more than happy to allow it, Dr.Jordan even suggesting it be a great idea. The day of the visit arrives and suprise for us, we got to take our baby home instead! She was doing well and got cleared to go home!Throughout this entire experience they provided nothing but the best for Francis and were there for us for any concerns or questions we had at anytime. After all is said and done Melrose La Brea will be our go to for any medical needs our baby. Thank you for taking great care of Francis.

I took my stray cat (now home cat) to get treated for tapeworms and vaccines. My cat usually gets scared of people but Dr Jordan and the assistant did an excellent job. Thank you Dr. Jordan and staff for making us feel comfortable. (:

I did not have a good experience at this place!! My dog had a rash from a food allergy so this doctor recommend a 1200 treatment .As a dog owner, i know to feed my dog only raw meat , this doctor tried to get me to get my dog off her natural diet of raw meat and buy their dog food that has gluton , corn and other chemicals . Please dont trust a vet that doesnt care about your dogs health. What a waste of 85$ for the visit .

My dog is a very loud, scared rescue chihuahua but the vet was still kind and never rolled his eyes at her, unlike other places I’ve been too before where they get annoyed at her for being a chihuahua.

You have always treated my pets with 5 star care and afforded me easy payment installments which I have truly appreciated.

I sincerly dont know what could have possibly happened to have those other reviewers post the things they did. Dr. Jordon is amazing. I have 2 cats, one almost 20 and the other 14 and I know that the reason they are so healthy is because of his care. When I first came to the office there were 2 older ladies in the lobby that said to me whatever is wrong with your kitty Dr. Jordan can fix it! and I though how cute, he has groupies. It turns out that one of those ladies had to be in a convalescent home for 2 months and she kenneled her dog with Melrose La Brea during that time. . Dr. Jordan personally brought her dog to see her at the home once a week until she got better! She told me he saved her and her dog!As for me personally, I have recieved excellent, loving care from everyone there but, especially Dr. Jordan. There have even been times were I was struggling financially and the doctor found every way possible that he could help me. I never have been to any other vet that cared more about the actual animals and not just the bottom line.He is not one of these polished hollywood vets. Hes very old school and I think some folks react to that. His office and style are not flashy but, he brought my cats back from the brink more than once and has kept them healthy and I will never see another vet. I guess now I am a groupie too! I mean this sincerely. If you want an old fashioned, neighborhood vet who loves animals this is your guy.

Open on weekends, excellent care and very reasonable prices.
