I was told they would need my credit card on file so that if I canceled my appointment with within 24 hours I would be charged. That was fine. Then I was told they would be placing a deposit on my card without my cat ever having been seen. I found that completely suspect and desperate. I will take my cat elsewhere where they are not so desperate they are attempting to charge you before youve even stepped foot in their environment.

Dr. White helped my bird a while ago, was so gentle with her, and the (safe) laser treatments (and little bird!) worked like a charm. She is one of most knowledgeable vets, esp. about birdsX, which is very hard to find. Compassionate Dr., office, staff, and very reasonable pricing.

Great professional care, honest, straightforward and reasonable! We had to take our 17 year old Bichon in for a rapid down turn in her health condition. They did a thorough exam and didnt try to gouge us with extraordinary add-ons. They did the excellent exam and gave us the best remedy to help cure the dogs ailments. They called daily to check on our dogs status. After several days, her condition worsened so we took her in to get the best assessment. Dr White was phenomenal and compassionate in all respects. She was very thorough and provided us with all of the options. Taking everything into consideration, we decided it was time and put our dog to sleep. During this sad time, all of the staff couldnt have been more understanding, compassionate and sincere.Hancock Park Veterinary Clinic is definitely a first class operation!

Dr White is the main vet there and I would recommend making an apt directly with her. There are no hidden costs and very fair for the price. She cares, very empathetic. The receptionist was understanding when I had to reschedule last minute (1 day before) for health reasons. Your pet is worth every penny!

Wed been taking our dog here since she was a pup (3 years now). I loved it -- clean facilities, friendly staff. And since we live in the hood, I was always quick to recommend it.But theyve become just too damn popular. When my dog cut her paw in the park, I called to get her an appointment. This was a Thursday -- and the soonest they had was Tuesday. But! The receptionist told me if I wanted to pay 2x the vet visit fee (or $125.00), I could get her in that day.So much for loyalty. Ive found a new vet.

I can always depend on the staff to be compassionate, concerned and just always add an extra dash of Love, The Doctors are so concerned about not overcharging you and will definitely share if a test isnt needed. I recently went through a traumatic experience thinking that I would lose my beloved Pet to diabetes and HGE.Today, my Pet is back home and happy! Thanks to Hancock Veterinary Clinic! The moment you walk in the door ,you just feel you are in the right place! Love to each and everyone on The Hancock Team. Dr White had a vision and it definitely came true!

Very clean. Very professional. February is dental hygiene month; discount on teeth cleaning. They offer alternative medicine referrals or visiting technicians - acupuncture, no anesthesia dental cleaning etc. Clearly they love animals.Small parking lot. They will refer to City of Angels for specialties such as oncology or cardiology.

Horrible customer service. They completely disregard emergency situations that result in a cancellation that falls within their 24hr cancellation policy. I wouldnt take your business here, it seems theyre more interested in charging your credit card then treating your pet.

All they care about is money. My dog got stung and went into anaphylactic shock and needed emergency treatment immediately. My account is in the minus until tomorrow and they are refusing to treat my dog even though it means she can die because I can’t pay until the next day. Please don’t take your animal here under any circumstance. They cited not treating my dog as I’m screaming at them asking them if they are going to let her die and they say “we have to keep the lights on”. How this has become the state of any kind of health care for humans or animals is disgusting. These people should be ashamed of themselves. I hope they go out of business

Let me start by saying that I had been going to this vet with 3 different animals for more than 15 years -- ever since they were at their old location. I have spent upwards of 40k there over this time, and had referred many of my friends.I tried today to get my dog an appointment for the nonanesthetic teeth cleaning on Nov 28th.I moved to Vegas recently, where they do not do the nonanesthetic teeth cleaning. I was scheduled to go back to LA for business on the 28th, and they happened to have the teeth clinic that day. It would have been perfect. My dog is 16 and really needs the teeth treatment.Apparently, they were full. I explained my unique circumstances and begged them to squeeze me in. To no avail.I work in a customer service industry and let me tell you, if I had a great long-time client who needed a special accommodation, I would go out of my way to do it. But not these people.I will not be going back there or referring any more of my friends.

I’ve been a client in this place for few years now and they have in care 4 of my dogs.Last night I had to take my female GSD to the ER where she had an emergency surgery to remove a rock from her stomach this is only a overnight ER so we picked her up this morning at 6 am after spending $6000 they told us to go to our vet to get the dog one more bag of IV fluids they left the I’v in her leg and my wife went to the Hancock vet with the dog. When she arrived they put her in the room and told her that she needed a vet visit for $65 after that they gave her an estimate for $1000 to start to give the dog some fluids, my wife was in shock when they told her that ,this is outrageous no compassion or sympathy only trying to take advantage of people and money even after we spend so much the night before $6000 for surgery they didn’t care at all and didn’t help us or my dog and keep in mind we have been clients in this place with 4 dogs .We and up going to another vet Green cat and dogs where they changed $150 for taking care of my dog that they never seen before .Very disappointed don’t take your dog at this clinic they don’t care at all.

I came in with my pug about a month ago to diagnose why my dog went blind after a relatively small bump to the eye. I figured because I knew the owner and was referred by her they would at least try to help me. Thats not what happened. They mis-diagnosed my dog and prescribed 4 medicines ($200 worth) that she did not need. The next day she saw a different doctor/specialist who said we needed to get our money back because none of what they said was evident. Not only did Hancock park say no, but they also admitted they lied about the in-house optimologist seeing my dog (they said they had a 2nd opinion, which is why i paid $200 for the medicine) and they did not. I to this day am battling via email to get my money back considering my dog was wrongfully diagnosed or AT LEAST a free follow up visit to make up for it. 0 out of 5 stars if I could.

This place is the worst. We took my friends dog there because he was panting heavily and had a tender belly. After almost $1000 they told us his potassium level was so high he might die, and that we needed to take him to a different hospital because they were closing at 6. We took him to VCA on sepulveda, which is amazing! They told us his potassium was fine, that Hancock vets must have mis-read their machine or their machines are not calibrated correctly. This place is a scam- and this is the short version of the story. Dont waste your time here
