Being employed here since 2015 I have to admit the healthcare is superb, E.R. waiting times are short-n-sweet (5-10 mins max!), clean rooms, fantastic Social Services Department, the security is excellent & the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), “Reflections, Suite 107, in the Olympia Medical Building located directly across the street from the Medical Center has one of the best reputations in Southern California!

If I can give 0 stars I would, this hospital is the worst. My grandpa was taken here because of covid and everyday we would called to check up on him and they would always tell us he was stable. Never once did they mention he had pneumonia, sepsis. What kind of people are you treating patients this way he died and I feel like you guys did nothing to help him. I’m sorry but you could of told us the truth so we could of prepared ourself for this terrible news. It hurts to lose people but worst to say you were saying he was okay when he was not!!!

Dr Shadi and case manager Deborah (Debra) are Terrible and incompetent. My son has difficulty remembering due to a diabetic coma and he uses a wheel chair. The doctor never called to update me on my sons condition and test results. I left several messages over the 2 weeks he was in the hospital. The case manager sent him home by transportation without notifying me left him outside with a hospital gown on, no mask and blood sugar of 40 to fend for himself. Im glad they are closing and I hope when UCLA take over neither one of them have jobs there.

Worst experience ever. Denied me twice for a cyst removal. Gave me antibiotics that didnt get rid of it then prescribed the same meds again. Lied and said they dont have surgeons when the website gives you a list of surgeries they do and lost of surgeons/doctors. They start is more worried about it cafe than helping patients that they took an oath to care for. They need to shut this place down.

Total scam hospital, in cahoots with the Sheriffs department, the Sheriffs force you to go there against your will and send you a bill for services not requested or needed straight from a bill collector. This is a scam and doctors are not worthy of the title. they are uncaring, cold, unprofessional and rude. If you are perfectly healthy with no complaints or need for a doctor visit, expect at least a $500 bill forced on you. Should be shut down. I am speaking with a lawyer. Will update later about the outcome.

Disgusted by the management of this place. My wife went into the ER, because of covid I had to wait In the car. When I went to pick her up There were no signs showing that there were tire spikes on the ground, and I popped my car tires. Upon checking for signs, I find that the only sign is blocked by the tree and parked car.The parking attendant told me that someone drives over those spikes every day by accident since there is no visible sign. The tow truck driver said I was his 6th pickup of the week from that location. I contacted the hospital telling them this is a serious issue they need to address, they didn’t give me any time of day, they could care less.My sick wife had to get into an Uber for 30 minutes at the height of covid, and I had to get in a tow truck to the tire center. The fact that the hospital wouldn’t want to do anything to address and issues like that is disgusting . I’m out $300 and someone still drives over the tire spikes every day. Awful...

My grandmother attends here for chemo treatment, suite 505. Honestly her doctor is really great which is why we keep coming, but because he is so popular, I think too many paitents get scheduled in one day. We go twice a week and each time, the the waiting room is overflowing with people, it becomes impossible to stay 6 feet away from others, even in the hallway, I end up waiting outside, but its not an in and out process were there for a good 5 hours while my grandma does treatment. Masks are required, but the front office staff doesnt enforce it and ive seen several people come in without them . Its get concerning when you have 6 or more paitents in one chemo room getting treatment. I feel like they need better covid protocols,. I worry about the health and safety of not only my grandma, but all the other cancer patients that come here and thier caregivers.. I am also uncertain about the cleaniness in between patient visit. I dont know if they even have time to slow down and clean when so many paitents need to be seen. I would suggest that the Medical center enforce stricter rules. I am just calling it how i see it. I think this place really needs to take their health and safety standards to a higher level. Its worrisome. I understand paitents need chemo, my grandma needs it too, but taking all the covid rules into consideration should be number 1. Maybe even just having less paitents come in a day and spreading out appointment times can be helpful. i dont know but a few things should really be changed.

Had a horrible experience... went for chest pain, possible broken rib and got a chair in the hall and a motrin! Waited forever for an xray and got fed up with being ignored so I decided to leave. Got dizzy in the parking lot and my boyfriend begged me to go back in. When I agreed they told me i had to fill out all the paperwork again and start over! I passed out in the waiting room and security guards threatened us with calling the police! What kind of hospital hires goons like that?!

I came to the medical center with pelvic pain early this year. I am almost 62 years and never was hospitalized not been to the ED. I was in so much pain I decided to go to the ED. After multiple hours of waiting I was given a cat scan with contrast. Within an hour the female doctor came back and said that the scan was negative. I was puzzled as I had to be helped out of bed and to the bathroom by my fiancé. The female doctor said that I was fine to go home as she did not find anything. I called my OBGyn next day and she ordered an ultrasound and saw the problem. I just completed a MRI and awaiting the results. I feel that this facility do not care about your health, just about money. I will never return to this facility and I urge people to do your due diligence before taking your love one to this facility. My doctor was incompetent and could have ordered additional tests but gave up after the first test and left me on pain. I have a PPO so I was not there begging for free health care. Being a RN with a Masters Degree, I understand what quality of care looks like and this wasn’t. I contested my bill and they stated that they provided the right level of care, well they can say what they want, I will write every state, county including JCAHO to report this incompetence.

Excellent ER experience. No wait, clean bed, private space, quick triage, wonderful nurses, speedy and thorough medical care. I went in with a badly broken toe, and left one hour later with pain meds and copies of my xray, having had my toe xrayd, injected, set and wrapped. A wonderful and gentle aid fitted me with a boot and crutches and gave me a lesson in using them. This ER is truly a best-kept secret of LA. I would come back here any time for injuries and other small emergencies. Thanks, Olympia!

I hit my toe, and came to Olympia to check if it could be a fracture. They measured my blood pressure, took an x-ray of my toe (it was no fracture) and gave me a special shoe to wear. The bill was $2000. Insurance paid the most, but my part was $500. I think its a robbery - such price for the service I received. Unbelievable! Do not go there!

The WORST ever !!!!Dont go over there. Especially not with international insurance. They telling you that its a 50$ copayment but they gonna charge you 10 times 50$. I was there twice. And I keep getting more and more Bills from them. Not enough they also sending Bills that you already paid to collection company. Promise you that you will prefer to pay extra 50$ instead of fighting the collection company genius crew. Please dont go.

They are horrible here and one of the nurses kept giving me attitude when i asked her for an extra ice pack for him. They were all laughing and having private conversations. Currently there right now. Why I’m even here is because the ambulance took me here instead of cedars (which btw is amazing and has fabulous care)The Er here was a circus they had homless lined up everywhere drug addicts screaming in the agony of withdrawal security up the wazoo, and they made my guest wait 30 minutes to get a badge to come up to my room. the actual hospital staff ain’t bad but the hospital itself and security are a real pain in the butt also as I’m typing this the power is out in the hospital they don’t even know when it’s going to be working again. The cafeteria is like something you’d see in prison and the hospital itself is extremely rough with a lot of really shady looking characters out inside and inside save your time just go to cedars ive been here 3 days and i want to throw myself out the window this hospital is horrible

They didn’t do me right at all, I came in with pain and left the same way. They didn’t give me any meds. The doctor had no answers. He gave me a X-ray and sent me on my way. I went to cedars which was great; they found out that I was having kidney failure at cedars🙏🏾. BOTTOM LINE:Olympia was horrible.

They were rude. They threatened me cause I have recorded nurses and other staff members that refused to give me my records and they continued to harass me about me being homeless. I got so threatened I broke down mentally and physically. My discharged was so messed up it took many hours when they promised I would leave or I would be escorted by LAPD. Debra ( the cas manger head supervisor ) she threatened me with the police and said she could put me on the street. I have never been threatened like that before.I am a cancer patient and has four years left. I am very sick and have open wounds. I jave proof of all I have stated.

The worst experience my mom was in ER and the very bad nurse put the catheter to my mom and I had to remove it, she never came back later on the 2nd floor the nurses did not appear to ring the bell for help and well after 15 min are burdened with work this new administration is to blame they give many patients to one that joins the lazy nurses because not all of them are like this here I have only seen one doing a good job and I appreciate it but this is my last time I use the services of this hospital
