Very cool doctor from emergency room and team of nurses.

The amount of care and compassion shown by Nurse Maria and Dr. Akmaji when I made a late night visit to the emergency room led me straight to here. Maria and Dr. Almaji along with the hospital staff were so kind and friendly, and the waiting time wasn’t bad at all. Thanks so much to the Kaiser family for having such honorable & professional people in their group.

When my daughter needed a lung surgery that she had very little chance of survival, Dr Abanani did the surgery and fitting her in between already scheduled surgery. Here she is a year later alive and living to the fullest.

Nurse Esther R is a really Good nurse. She is nice and kind and her voice is very good. Doctor Bartlett Teresa Lin was kinda mean and she kinda yelled like she didn’t care about my health

I don’t know how anyone could give this place a bad review!! They are beyond excellent as far as patient care, cleanliness, diagnosis & timely service. Sandra was my nurse & she was not only a lovely individual but she went out of her way to ensure I was comfortable and understood all the Dr.’s instructions. Dr. Swain didn’t rush through his visit with me even though I was there for a minor injury and not for a single second did I feel judged or looked down on for anything. I promise if you go here you will receive exceptional service & a thorough exam. I wish all hospitals were like this. Thank you to the entire staff!!!

I was honestly surprised at the quality of care I received here. I fully expected to wait for hours because it was a Saturday night on a holiday weekend. The staff was very professional - even when dealing with some difficult patients multiple times that night. They had a very wide range of knowledge as well and knew exactly how to triage and treat my off-the-wall health issues. I would definitely recommend this ER. I think I was here for a max of 1.5 hours and they got me into a room very quickly.

It used to have the best service and waiting time was awesome.. now is getting horrible waiting time 3 to 4 hours just to room you I would give it no stars if I could.... Im so sorry for homeless people but they are invading the waiting room and no one does anything about it I mean i know they are people too but its ridiculous their using the waiting room as a shelter. I think Im done with kaiser worse than county hospital

If you have to go to the ER I highly recommend Kaiser. I spent almost one week here in the ER room due to an infection I was fighting . From the moment I checked in till the end the staff was amazing.Doctors , Nurses, medical Associates are friendly and had great bed side manners . The wait time was not long at all, the hospital is clean and there is parking. I want to say a special thank you toDr. Muneer Hameer: You are an amazing doctor.I thank you for helping me. I am glad that during such a difficult time you were there to help me .

I honestly have never had a bad experience coming to kaisers ER they have always been attentive with me and I’ve never had to wait more than 1 hour to be seen.

Sent upstairs downstairs and back twice, only to get a strep test. There is no communication or followthrough from doctor to nurse to lab. Lack thereof has caused me to spend all day running around this hospital instead of taking the day off work to just rest in bed which probably would have been more beneficial to my health.

Ive had asthma all my life and they told me I had symtons therefore i had to wait 2 hrs. Sunset location is best. Anytime you have difficulty breathing the wait is never more than 20 min.disparaging

Dr. Kung and all of the nurses in the emergency were so great, they got me help as quickly as they could and were so kind and put me at ease for a minor surgery that I needed. First time having to go to the hospital alone and they helped calm my nerves. Thank you!

ER was quick, efficient, friendly, clean and professional. When in about 3am and was out no later than 4am. 24hr pharmacy filled prescription within 15 mins and was home no later 5.

I dont know about this place anymore, they used to give you good service, now it takes weeks to see the doctors, urgent care is open at 9am and the pharmacy customer service is pretty bad. I came with my prescription, waited around 30 minutes , I go asked why is it raking too long. Im told the guy who took my info stated I was picking up my medicine the next day!! Unfreaking believable! How can you go to the doctor and pick up your medicine the next day? Then you complain and there is no manager so no one is hold accountable!

This place is horrible!!! Bad service and no one to help you! I would never recommend anyone coming here! Do not come here!

Dr. Plumley and his team in Urgent Care were wonderful. I had almost no wait whatsoever to be seen, and when I was seen, he and his team of nurses did a great job. They explained everything thoroughly, took their time, and made sure all my questions were answered. As a patient new to Kaiser, I have had nothing but great experiences so far for everything from check-in to discharge. Thanks, Dr. Plumley, and the Urgent Care team at West LA Kaiser.

I take back my positive review.This hospital & it’s Emergency Room SUCKS!We started noticing that my grandmother’s health was declining so we took her to the doctor & they said it was nothing. We took her to the ER 4 times in a row because there was something VERY wrong with her & they wouldn’t admit her because they didn’t feel something was wrong because they didn’t want to do the tests. We had to take her across the border to get a 2nd opinion & it turns out she has stage 4 cancer & her kidneys are failing!! Then when we took her to another Kaiser & they took into consideration what happened at West LA, they admitted her & now she’s getting the care she needs. If the stupid doctors at West LA would have done their job right instead of pushing her away, she could have longer to live!!!

My son has received the most amazing care at this hospital. I’m so thankful for the doctors and nurses who helped him during what was most definitely the most frightening time in our lives.

Took my daughter to the E.R due to fever and vomit. Have to admit we waited little time, staff and doctor were nice. Only downfall were the nurses. It took 4 nurses and 3 pokes in my daughters arm for blood withdrawal.

Bad bad bad experience. Had my mom with a high fever and pain and they have her waiting for almost 4 hours I ask several times why they haven’t call her and the front desk clerks would just said there are no beds available but if people of other race will walk in they will take them in immediately I had to leave with my mom and took her to another hospital which only had her waiting 30 minutes!!!

Always a short a wait time and received nothing but the best care and service

Dont waste your time plz dont

I didnt know what causes my issue and I had pains so I came to this location.Doctor Bharel came so fast in the room to see me and found I had mucus behind my ear drums and really whats going on.Was really caring and most importantly everything happened fast no waiting for hours.Very pleased with the service ,thank you!

If you need antibiotics, do yourself a big favor and stay home. Long wait with three people in waiting room. This is like medical kindergarten.
