Second time coming in. Same asian receptionist with terrible attitude and energy. Not the first face you want to see coming in to an emergency room, not the first time having a terrible experience. The worst hospitality in the waiting room. I respect the diversity but get someone thats more welcoming and knows about the hospitality business. She is not fit for that at all

I really wish I could put 0 stars … I went there last night because of stomach pain I was throwing up everywhere … after waiting nearly 3 hours I went to see if I can get some water because I was so dehydrated from throwing up I was about to pass out my brain was falling asleep so I asked them for a cup of water they said no I said okay well how much more is the wait ? The male replied and said 3 hours mind you they never told me it was going to be this long and it was only 3 people in the waiting room plus it was a lady that checked in after me and got called in before me , this ER is trash and should be shut down all they cared about was changing the channels on the tv they don’t care about uou I don’t even understand how this is even Kaiser the Kaiser I know would never this experience was very traumatizing I had to walk out and deal with the pain until I was able to go somewhere else in the morning I wouldn’t wish the pain I felt on anybody but them

Literally the worse hospital ever. This place could honestly care less, we took my dad here at 12 pm, they had us wait until 4 am while we literally just sat there with blood all over the waiting room chairs. As they finally called us in they made us wait another 15 min for the doctor. Then they finally took the x rays, told my dad he will probably need surgery and said we will probably call you to schedule an appointment sometime this week and let him go. I don’t know what the point of going to the emergency room. 240$ just to wait 4 hours for them to tell us you might need surgery and let us go.

If you don’t have a “Kaiser Card” they’ll let you die in the ER the patient ambassador was too busy having a chat with her coworker I wanted to ask her where to start the line and the Emergency Checking Department lady was really rude and cut me off a couples of times while I was trying to explain and give details about my excruciating pain plus she was talking to her coworker at the same time and later on she shared with another patient why I was she’s not suppose to share my information or why I’m there later on when they took my vitals my temperature read 101 and Dr. Sanchez said I didn’t have a fever 101 is clearly a fever what kind of hospital is this they need to be more professional and hire Doctors and RN’s that know what they’re doing you’re dealing with peoples lives here how would you like it if your loved one or yourself would be treated like this

Came to get help for my sick 3 year old. We check in and are told to wait. 2 hours later I go up to ask about his progression in the line. They said oh someone pulled him out of the que. seriously. He wasn’t even in their system as waiting to be seen. We sat there for nothing. This was 3 in the morning. By time we would have waited , again , it would be morning and the appointment line would be open. It’s just very incompetent on their part. And my son had to wait for proper care because of it.

Hate this hospital they deserve 0 stars for the staffs nasty attitudes. You better off dying then coming here and waiting 10 hours to die on there floor. Or go to the KP off La Cienega, been there 4 time, in and out less then 4 hours.

Youre in the best hands with the people who work here day and night. Amazing dedication to do what the doctors and nurses do here everyday.

After Bariatric surgery I was in the hospital for 6 days and found my treatment quite satisfactory by the staff although the surgron had the worst bedside manner Id ever experienced - a concern shared by many of my other physicians. The true test came when I developed unrelated complications and was an inpatient for 32 days, unable to have anything by mouth with a nasogastric tube to pump my stomach contents every night. I literally - once again with the exception of the surgeon - experienced the best care anywhere, and I almost live in hospitals. The nurses, attending physician, residents and ancillary staff were fantastic and, considering the debilitating nature of my illness, made me as comfortable as possible. I was sick for a very long time after my discharge due to a spiral of related but eventually sicknesses but nonetheless the staff at Kaiser Permanente Harbor City were the best at this stage of my infirmity.

This what you need to know-Urgent care is where you go for most cases. The ER is for dire need. The ER is not to be used as an urgent care unit. Things that can be handled at an urgent care just delay everything and overburden the hospital. If you’ve cut off an arm or leg or are having cardiac issues, stroke, etc that is when you go to the ER. Severe colds, flu, back pain, etc. call the nurse line, or go to urgent care. Please be mindful of this

Have been waiting at the ER for more than 3 hours now and no sign of being seen by the doctor. Talking to folks around here and some have been waiting for more than 5 hours. Worst part is they have no idea how many people are ahead of you and approximately how long it would take. They have just one answer : its exceptionally busy tonight.

On Friday I broke 4 bones in my foot. I went into the Kaiser ER as it was closest, I had never been to Kaiser before. They said they were super slow for a Friday, yet they had no rooms available. First thing to note from this review: if you have a serious injury and are expecting to be immediately given a bed, dont. They have an extreme shortage of physical rooms for emergency patients. After some X-Rays, the doctor told me I had 4 broken bones. He proceeded to prescribe me Norcos for the pain. Unfortunately, the doc put 2019 as the year on the prescription, so when I went to CVS the next day I couldnt get my meds. These two reasons alone are reason enough for a 1 star review. To top it all off, I called back 5 days after the incident. They told me they were unable to give me a doctors note excusing me from studying and school for the time the norcos were prescribed for. Norcos make it impossible to drive or study, yet the ones who prescribed the med were unable to write me a doctors note? They asked a doctor who hadnt seen me or had no idea of my condition if they would be able to write me a note and she told them no. This isnt even legal. 0 stars, avoid this emergency room at all costs. Ill be spreading ill word of kaiser and their emergency services (or lack thereof) and their ILLEGAL practices to everyone I can.

Worst nightmare, all my pregnancy jumping from nurse to nurse instead doctor, they diagnose me as diabetic without probe, i was in alot of distress, nurse told me they will test my baby 10 times in her feet to see if she was diabetic, she was normal in all the 3 tests I allow them to perform. All nurses answer to me was you are an old lady because you are over 35 you are diabetic high risk, your child have the syndrome, my baby born so healthy and normal no syndrome at all. It was a total distress I was not able to sleep, problem cant move to other medical program because of my insurance, and there are so many more things that happen. Not recommend that place to have babies at all.

Be prepare to wait 7 hours for some help even if your screaming and crying mostly seniors filling up rooms so it’s like nothing moving nothing against the senior I feel they should have way more rooms then they do only have 40 rooms available. On top of that with seniors there just sitting outside in waiting room For hours no help
