Dr. Vargas is fantastic! She always takes the time to listen to your issues to resolve them and find the right products for you. I have a challenging prescription and eye shape but Dr. Vargas has never given up trying to find the perfect solutions for me.

Just got my eyes checked here. It was my first visit to the office. It was very cute! I love the vibe in the office. They are spacing out appointments so I was the only patient in the building. I loved the staff and Dr. Vargas was really sweet and informative and took a lot of time to answer my questions. The exam was quick and painless. She’s the best eye doctor I’ve found in LA. When I was looking for someone new in these weird times I was reassured by the fact that their website was very up to date with covid safety policies clearly stated. None of the others in network did that. You can also schedule online, which is super convenient. I’ll definitely keep coming back! Thank you!

I brought my daughter for an eye exam today. I was very pleased with the precautions they’re taking to keep social distancing and safety. Only my daughter and I were there during our appointment which was nice to get one-on-one service. Both Evelyn and Dr.Vargas were very friendly and professional. After the exam they helped my daughter try on different glasses and choose the best frame for her. Great service overall. We were done with the exam and with choosing the glasses in about 30 min. If you’re looking for a friendly, professional and affordable place, then I definitely recommend Ooh La La Optometry.

So grateful for Dr. Vargas! The most thoroughly explained, considerate eye exam I’ve ever had. My Rx has changed A LOT since I last had a check-up (admittedly, years ago...) and she was thoughtful enough to make tweaks to my new Rx so my brain didn’t “freak out” too much with the change. Her cleanliness and safety protocols for COVID protection were reassuring, and she and her staff Evelyn were the kindest ladies. Will definitely return in the future!

Dr. Vargas was wonderful. Thorough, incredibly knowledgeable, conscientious and patient with my stream of questions. She caught something I wasnt aware of and was able to recommend a quick and inexpensive remedy which I have already put to use. I feel better already. I will return to her for my annual check-ups without hesitation. I highly recommend her!

My experience with Dr. Vargas was very pleasant. She took her time to ensure my prescription was accurate. Her office also took Covid precautions very seriously by limiting the amount of staff present and visitors entering, as well as sanitizing everything that I touched before and after my visit. Dr. Vargas and her staff were very easy to work and accommodating with even in times of the pandemic. Dr. Vargas took her time during my eye exam and answered any questions I had. They helped me send my frames out for new lenses, and although it was a little expensive, they were so nice that I ended up being grateful that they helped me out.

Dr.Vargas provided a great experience, in the midst of COVID. Everything felt totally clean and safe, but also love how she managed to keep the warmth and friendliness thats often lost when everyone is wearing masks.

It was a wonderful experience as usual. I usually see Dr. Vargas in Sherman Oaks, but was unable to get an appointment at that office before leaving town. I gladly made the trip to Silver Lake for the genuine care and service that I have only experienced with Dr. Vargas.
