This review is specific to the Ideal Protein Weight Loss Program. The individual one-on-one coaching provided by Allison is invaluable!! The food program has worked well for me and I love the rapid weight loss it provides. Ive never lost weight this quickly, but the coaching is the difference for me. Allison provides encouragement, plus helpful eating and mindset tips to stay on track. I look forward to meeting with her every week and always leave with a smile! Finally a program that understands how important mental support is to weight loss. I highly recommend Ideal Protein and Allison specifically for anyone ready to commit to losing weight.

I started on the program in December 2015 and weighed 225 pounds. When I started the program, not only did I have some weight to lose, I also suffered from brain fog, headaches, and lethargy. Within just a few weeks of starting Ideal Protein, the symptoms I was experiencing cleared up, and I got down to my goal weight of 160 in just 7 months, and have kept it off for 6 years now. The Health Coaching staff are motivated and dedicated to supporting you with where you are in your wellness journey and providing education to make this program work for you. When you are on Ideal Protein, you dedicate yourself and learn healthier ways to eat and live. Never give up, no matter how hard it seems. Thanks again to the Health Coaching staff at Rocky Mountain Family Practice. Jen and Allison will go out of their way to make your weight loss successful and continue to work with you to maintain your weight! The food is also very delicious. I would recommend this diet to anyone. Try it, Health Coaching and Ideal Protein will change your life for the better!

Alison Dozar is a health coach at Rocky Mountain Family Practice and I could not be more impressed with her. I was drawn to this practice because of their belief in overall wellness, whereby they offer complimentary health coaching to their clients. This is a progressive and fantastic idea. Coming to see Alison has helped me to drastically change my diet and lose weight in the process. Her wise counsel is always appreciated and spot on.

Im so grateful to Diane Smith NP and Allison Dozar, the health coach here for helping me to get healthy this past year! Rather than just prescribing lifelong cholesterol drugs, they have worked with me and coached me to lose more than 30 lbs and now I dont need the meds! They have kept me on track and I feel better in my late 40s than I did in my 30s. Its amazing! Thank you to Allison for your encouragement and insight, you have changed my life! I really appreciate that this office offers health coaching for their patients!!

I came to RMFP looking to improve my health and nutrition. It wasnt until I worked with Alison (through RMFP health coaching program), did I realize how misinformed I had been about nutrition and diet. Shes helped me to realize the importance of establishing a true balance in my daily life. Her wisdom and insightfulness have truly impacted the way I care for myself. Of course, the proof is in the pudding, right? I have lost over 40lbs. and I am keeping it off, but more importantly feeling great physically and mentally.

I have only been on this journey for a little over a month and I am already seeing extreme progress. I didnt think I would enjoy IP as much as I do and I am very thankful that Allison is along for the ride on this journey as well. She has helped me understand the weight loss/fat burning process and has helped motivate me to stay the course! She has been very helpful and is always available to answer ANY question I have no matter how small. I am looking forward to continuing this journey and seeing who I am on the otherside. Thank you ALLISON you are a rockstar!

This is a great medical team and coaches here!! I already gave a great review to Dr. Mast and Im still very happy with him and his team. Im here today to let you know how great bith Jennifer and Allison have been coaching me thru the Ideal Protein Weight Loss program. I started this in February 2020 after I lost ten pounds on my own over 6 months.I started with Jennifer and Allison at 225 pounds and lost around 55 pounds in 5 1/2 months thru there guidance and caring. They took me through all three levels of the program and answered any questions I ever had. Both ladies are very professional and caring of their clients and do all they can to guide us thru the whole system. The system is very well managed and I was one of their quickest weight loss clients to this point. I am very happy and suggest this to anyone who wants to lose weight and kearn how to eat better to keep that smaller body. Today I am still right at my established goal many months after I completed the full program.

The doctors here could be great, I wouldn’t know! I tried becoming a patient of this doctors office, but sadly when I informed the girl working the front desk / phone that I had Gerd - a stomach disease, the woman working told me that they weren’t allowed to have anyone in the office that was contagious and I’d have to come back next week. She clearly said contagious, so I clarified with her that I’m not sick, I just have Gerd a stomach disease which is not contagious. Seriously? If they were going to go through and have the front desk worker turn away potential patients due to illness, she may want to learn some medical terms so she doesn’t turn away someone with a LEGIT DISEASE!

If it was possible to give this place negative stars, I would. My partner went to them for a screening, was told to expect a call after the weekend on Mon or Tues with the results, or at least a conversation. It’s been 2 weeks.Called AGAIN for an answer, was told that his doctor and the only other person who could tell him his results already left for the day. Called twice before this as well, with no response. Called back again, a bit more insistent this time, and they suddenly had one of the docs who wasn’t 5 minutes before. Was only just now told just now of an online portal he could have had access to WEEKS ago.I deal with my own chronic illness. I’ve been in and out of ER’s, Doctors Offices, and clinics since I was 10.I have NEVER heard nor dealt with a more underwhelming and unprofessional medical practice than this place. Dr. mast cannot be bothered to keep his professional word and call back, leaving patients to just sit and worry over what could or could not be wrong with them. Results can take a minute, that is not the issue. The issue is upholding you professional word and calling when you say you will. It is not the patients job to hunt down their own results.DO NOT VISIT THIS CLINIC.Not if you want to know what’s actually wrong with you in a timely manner.

If I could give this practice 0 stars I absolutely would. The practice manager harrasses and bullies their patients regarding open balances. I was a patient at this practice for years, the last time I was seen I was no longer a minor. At the time of service I provided with all updated contact information for my bills, I received no correspondence or communication. They harrased my mother and bullied her into paying my open balance as well as violated HIPPA by giving my mother information from the visit. After this situation I finally received a bill from them (after my mother already paid) and I made an additional payment in order for my mother to be refunded. The office manager sent my mother her refund by mail and put a note on it stating I was banned from being seen at the practice. The way I have been treated by this practice is unacceptable and disgusting.

I did not work with this practice in the actual setting, rather my mother was seen by Dr. Masts PA Amanda while in skilled care at Accel. Our reasons for admitting my mother from home were due to a sharp decline which I suspected was either due to a UTI or small stroke or both. I am a healthcare provider myself in geriatric care so I had a strong basis for my concerns. I alerted the facility on admission of my suspicions based on my moms symptoms and sudden change, and specifically requested she be assessed for these on her admission review when seen by the MD or PA. On her telephonic care conference 2 days later, neither had been assessed with the PA stating she didnt have the symptoms to justify it and hadnt shown any change from her baseline (She had never met my mother prior to admission). Im not sure what was assessed, but the feeling my family got on the care conference was that there seemed to be no attempt to seek out answers for what was a sudden change from being thriving at home to suddenly needing 24/7 care in less than a weeks time. There was no attempt at communication with our family from the PA or MD upon her admission to gather any information that may have helped, and my mother was deemed stable. Two days later, my mother passed away. Did she have a problem that could have been treated if it was assessed, and could this have been a preventable death? Perhaps - we will never know. But my familys concerns about my mother seemed completely disregarded by this PA (and only even considered when pressed at the care conference), and as a result my mother was likely not cared for as well as she could have been in her final days. (All this while alone in a new place unable to accept visitors due to current restrictions).-I wanted to make sure I was through initially grieving before writing this in order to be objective, but two months later my thoughts on the whole experience with this PA have not changed.(As a side note, the staff at the rehab center itself was responsive to our needs and my mothers, and used our experience to improve their admission communication process during this challenging time. I am thankful for that. But neither the MD nor the PA ever reached out to communicate with us once the care conference was over, and it was noticed).-I hope this can be taken constructively and used for improved practices in the future so that another family does not have to go through a similar experience.

Front desk people are polite and helpful, and the nurses are attentive and pay attention to details, About the doctors, I can only speak about Dr. Hughes, but he is superb. He is highly knowledgeable, caring, and I never feel rushed during an appointment. Overall, this is an outstanding clinic.

Update 4/29/14: The last few times that Ive called, the receptionist has been courteous and helpful. This is a great change and I dont dread calling the office to make appointments anymore._____________________________________________________________________________________07/2013 - I would agree that the receptionists can be terse at times, but Rocky Mountain Family Practice is a good general practice. I would recommend them for general needs, injuries, physicals, colds/flu, but nothing specialized. If you have something that needs specialist attention, you can easily get a referral.

Extremely rude to overweight patients, which is disheartening when they claim to have a weight based approach to health. If you dont like to support MLMs, that is exactly what they are pushing, by the way. Added to this is the fact that the front desk is exceedingly rude and will yank you around. I was booking an appointment for two days out, was put on hold mid sentence, and when they came back I was told that it will be several weeks now. Last straw, so frustrating.

RMFP is the best place to go. Donna the receptionist is stellar. I love that she remembers me every year and takes the time to spend a few minutes to catch up. I always opt for the first appointment of the morning so I can talk a little extra with her. Maria the nurse for Dr. Christiansen is so welcoming and is very patient at listening to you to ensure you get the most out of your appointment. She also spends time getting to know what’s going on in my personal life. Last but not least is my favorite doctor of all time, Dr. Christiansen, she is the best doctor I have ever had. She knows if I complain about something then it’s not taken lightly due to being my doctor for 12 years, she knows I don’t complain very often and looks into it immediately or gives me a referral if Ned to be. She also, ensures I’m taken care of promptly. She always requests my results sent back to her so she can update her files as well. This is huge, because then she’s up to date on my medical history. I recommend her no matter what. I live in Denver and still drive to Longmont to see her. Even when I lived in Colorado Springs I drove to Longmont to see her. I won’t change doctors for as long as I live in Colorado.

I was with Rocky Mountain Family Practice for about 12 years. In that time, I received excellent medical care. I was always seen punctually, treated with respect, and everyone was nice to me. I was especially cared for by my Doctor, James Fretwell, who is one of the owners of the practice. Dr. Fretwell has been the best doctor Ive ever had in my whole life, and I regard him as a friend. He went above and beyond the call of a family doctor, and was always there when I needed him for medical services including ones related to school and my life. Looking back, Dr. Fretwell is the most reliable person Ive ever met. I highly recommend this practice and Dr. Fretwell to anyone whos looking for excellent medical care.

The receptionists are extremely unprofessional. When I sat in the waiting room I could here them gossiping about another employee which was rather awkward. All of the staff in the front are so rude. Every time I walk in I stand at the desk to check in while they type away at the computer and do not acknowledge my presence. It is very awkward. When they do acknowledge you they do not make eye contact and continue doing whatever task they were doing before. They act as if a patient is an inconvenience to them. When leaving they do not say good bye or acknowlege you. The doctors I have seen there are fine, but they may want to look at the face of their office. It makes the whole practice look ridiculous.

They are Very inconsiderate and Rude to Patients, and with the cost of insurance these days, having to constantly sit in the waiting room for most of your appt. time every appt. While every minute ticks by at $30 dollars plus, and then to sit again in the exam room for 10 minutes more for a 5 minute consul is bunch of crap.I am the customer! not RMFP they work for me not the other way around, but to be treated like I am at the DMW is inexcusable and to act like its a privilege to hand them money.During the Sept. flood they were evacuated but didnt even have the decency to notify patients that their appt. had been cancelled or an alternative time or place for a appt., not only resulting in increased pain and suffering of a young girl, but also having to pay an exorbitant cost in having to go to the E.R. ,so much for taking care of patients first, I am glad that my families health and well being is in the hands of office personal maybe it will be cheaper to book appts. at Office Depot. The kicker is while I have been a patient for over 6 years and have put up with this crap, I get stuck in traffic and am late to my appt. by less than 15 minutes and am told I need to reschedule as my appt. is already half over and they are busy with another patient which is BS in the first place as every time I have come here I have to wait 10-20 minutes before even seeing the doctor so if my appt. is for 8:30-9 AM then why is the doctor busy during that time? Isnt that my time I have purchased? So to wrap this rant up I will no longer be a patient, nor will my daughter, friends, parents , and anyone else that I convince to seek their healthcare needs elsewhere!!R.F.M.P. GET OFF YOUR HIGH HORSE AND REALIZE YOU WORK FOR THE PATIENTS AND SCREWING WITH THEIR HEALTHCARE IS BS!!!!!!!!!
