Everyone is very nice and professional. I spent a lot of time reviewing and researching who to see in the Front Range area for my tooth implant. After a ton of research and recommendations I’m glad I chose Periodontal Associates. I am actually deathly afraid of dentists. I told Dr. Thousand this and he went above and beyond in making me feel comfortable. They explained the procedure to me before they did anything. The dentist even called me the next day to check on me to make sure everything was okay. After the screw was placed in I assumed I would be very sore.. I wasn’t sore at all. In fact I felt. zero pain afterward. I dont even write reviews really… this place is worth it though!

Let me start by saying I am a nervous dental patient and so I was quite apprehensive about having significant dental surgery. I did the consultation with Dr Thousand and he explained everything to me. I still felt nervous. The day of the surgery arrived and I apprehensively showed up for my appointment. The surgery went fine, I was sedated the entire time, but I woke up with no pain, just a bit groggy. As Dr. Thousand had promised there would be some soreness later on, and there was, but the pain killers they prescribed did the trick and the recovery was mostly pain free. The team at Periodontal Associates consistently checked in on me as I recovered at home and also the scheduled check ups in the office went off on time, every time. I always knew my progress and the genuine care was sincerely felt. I have no hesitation in recommending Dr. Thousand and his wonderful team (from front Office to back office) to anyone.

I had a failed implant and went to Dr. Thousand. I was apprehensive but he was very caring and smart. He is progressive and explains what your care will be. I was a hard case but he did a superb job. Gum grafting is not a pleasant experience and isnt something that I wanted to go through, but Dr. Dan Thousand and his staff were great. The way that Dr. Dan Thousand spoke to me really resonated with me and thanks to Dr. Dan Thousand I have now quit smoking cigarettes for 46 days now, which is a huge accomplishment. Dr. Dan Thousand and I celebrated my 46 days today on my final follow up appointment today. I was very pleased with the results of the surgery. The day of the surgery was very difficult, the day after my surgery I received a very pleasant follow up call that really comforted me asking how I was doing and if there was anything Dr. Dan Thousands office could do for me. This really put a smile on my face and I didnt feel like I was in this alone. Dr. Dan Thousand and his office came as a referral from my dentist to me, and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is in need of gum grafting or periodontal work. Wow, what a wonderful staff supporting great Dr Thousand. I was somewhat unsure about having my gum graft procedure during “ safer at home “ period but went ahead and had it done. The staff called me number of times to discuss the office safety and cleaning protocol which eased my concerns. Sure enough, the procedure went well and the follow up visits were great. In fact, during my first couple weeks of recovery, I had a couple questions , so having called the office twice I was able to talk to not only the Doctor’s assistant but Dr Thousand himself, what a great service .YES, I would highly recommend Dr Thousand and his staff.Thank you Guys!!!!!Richard Wisniewski

Excellent service and treatment. Dr. Thousand explained everything before doing anything. Answered all my questions. Did not have to wait a long time in the waiting room. COVID procedures taken make you feel safe to be looked at. Extra precautions are taken. Reception, hygienist were all friendly. All expenses were explained any treatment began as well.

I was told by my regular dentist to see a periodontist and was immediately scared of what was to come. Through a personal referral I made an appointment and was seen immediately by Dr. Thousand. He was knowledgeable, professional and treated me as he would a family member. My procedure was handled the exact way he explained and he did what he felt would work without removing my tooth and putting in an implant. I needed an implant on one of my rear molars, and Dr. Thousand and his team did the implant work at the Aurora office. I had to do the procedure with minimal sedation due to the fact that I had to drive myself back to work after the procedure. Despite this, there was minimal pain and discomfort, and everyone did an incredible job. Hes very good about telling you what hes doing and is very detail-oriented. He is never dismissive and always takes time to answer questions.After everything healed up I went to my regular dentist to have the crown installed. After the crown placement I had a terrible headache and toothache for a week before my regular dentist would see me again to adjust the crown. However, even after she made some adjustments I was still in pain the next day.I didn’t know what else to do so I reached back out to Dr. Thousand for help even though he wasn’t responsible for the crown. Knowing that I was in acute pain they were able to get me in the same day at the Littleton office. Turns out there were some major defects on the crown that my dentist had overlooked that contributed to the acute pain, and would have likely resulted in infection down the road. Dr. Thousand spent almost an hour working with me and modifying the crown for temporary use so that I could have it placed back over the implant while a new crown is made.He didn’t need to do this since this wasn’t a mistake attributable to his office, but he and his team went above and beyond, and didn’t even charge me for the work. I had been in so much pain I could barely focus, and so this help meant so much to me because I could now function again. This was at the end of their day so I’m sure it meant a later day for everyone, but I can’t thank you all enough for giving me that relief. We’ll certainly be coming here for future dental issues, and referring Dr. Thousand and his team to friends.

My wife and I have been to a few specialists through the years but Dr. Thousand has been our most pleasant experience. We started out with the consultation visit. I usually need to ask some questions near the end of the visit but Dr. Thousand seemed to cover those during the course of the consultation without me having to ask. He was very thorough. My wife went in for a sinus lift and was very happy with how gentle he was. The procedure and recovery went so smoothly. My wife typically has a hard time with this type of thing but not this time. Without a doubt I would recommend Dr. Thousand. Last but not least the staffing is great. My wife and I have been coming here for over a year now and whether Im in the office or calling in they are always pleasant, accommadating and very knowledegable. Communications are good whether youre there in person, on the phone or email. The staff is a good match for Dr. Thousand.

Had a smooth, succsessful graft surgery in Sept. 2019. I had a great consultation that explained things well and the procedure went quickly. It was a bit uncomfortable afterwards but trauma was minimun and it healed quickly. I was able to work the next day!
