Everyone as Epic Dentistry was warm and welcoming for my first visit. The staff took extra care and attention to detail from going through my dental history to asking questions to get to know me. The dental hygienist, Jordan, made sure I was comfortable and took time to let me know step by step what we would be doing. She was very knowledge and answered any and all questions. The dentist, Dr. Caulfield was friendly and thoroughly examined my teeth. The entire experience made going to a new office enjoyable. I highly recommend them!

I’m a new patient and let me say that I have never felt more comfortable at at dentist office than I did here. Jordan was super awesome with my cleaning and exam. She was super friendly and caring. Dr. Caulfield is very personable and friendly. He really took the time to hear my concerns about my TMJ and sleeping problems. The ladies and the front desk were also very friendly and helpful. My insurance was showing I didn’t have any coverage and they called the company while I was getting my exam and cleaning and got it all sorted out.

Dr. Jon Caulfield is an incredible Dentist and he is the first doctor to actually find and start addressing an issue Ive been having for years and years with an infection. His practice has the most up-to-date equipment and he is an expert in his field. He listens and he cares and is incredibly invested in finding a solution to the root cause of what is causing any issues you are having with your teeth and sinuses. He also teaches and is well connected with other doctors outside the field of Dentistry who can also help with any problems you are having that are contributing to your dental problems. I highly recommend him and Im incredibly grateful to have found him!!

Been with Dr. Caufield for at least two decades and he and his staff are excellent care providers. I am 72 years old and my teeth and gums are in excellent condition thanks to the maintenance and care program provided by Epic. Just be careful if he starts singing.

Great office. Ive been going to Epic Dentistry since I moved to the area in 2015. Finding a new Dentist is one of the most painful parts of relocating, and I struck Gold on the first try. They always take great care to make sure you are comfortable, and aware of the procedures you are getting. Definitely recommended!

I have to give a huge shoutout to this whole dental office. This is how a great office should be run. As a former dental assistant years ago, this was by far one of the best experiences I’ve had in the dental chair to date. Right from the very first phone call to meeting Dr Jon and his assistants to making my payment, everyone was very welcoming and made me feel at ease. Also, I’m picky about receiving anesthetic and Dr. Jon’s technique is painless!! Not to mention I was very impressed with all of their technology- utilizing state of the art tools is a game changer in the dental world and it showed in my appointment. I arrived in pain and left a short time after with a brand new crown and no pain. I even went back to work the same day!I’m so grateful I found this gem in Littleton. I would happily refer all my friends and family here.

As per usual, Dr. Caulfiled is a very experienced and talented expert in his field (specializing in TMD-breathing disorder issues), and he took the time to answer my 20 questions from my thoroughly researched information regarding my treatment. He even took the time out to discuss the additional TMD-OSA books that I researched in order to provide input -- as to whether or not they were warranted to purchase and read in addition to everything else I could get my hands on in the last 20 years. Given my already large plethera of TMD-OSA-holistic books Ive read, he cut to the chase. Simply put, I am always looking for more in-depth information in his field of expertice considering I personally am under-going DNA/mRNA treatment. Note: I travel 3 hours one way from Wyoming to work with Dr. Caulfield because he is the expert I require.

I was drawn to this office because of all of the wonderful reviews- and they are warranted!As someone who has been suffering with TMJ disorders for a long time, I found Epic Dentistry to help get me on the path to healing. I decided to do the longer exam to get a full diagnosis of my TMJ problems. Between the state of the art imaging and the physical exam, Dr. Caufield was able to quickly diagnose me and found a path for treatment that has me feeling hopeful for a full recovery after a decade of issues.However, in the process, Dr. Caufield was very thorough and noticed that something was wrong with my thyroid during the head and neck exam. He told me I should be seen by a doctor to make sure everything was okay with my thyroid.It turns out I likely have a cancerous nodule on my thyroid. It is super small and was barely able to be detected by my doctors. The endocrinologist said to pass along his compliments to whoever had first discovered it and he was astounded to know it was found by my dentist!I will be switching over to Epic Dentistry for all of my dental needs. They are totally amazing. I ended up choosing Epic over another well-reputed place because Jenn - their patient liaison- was so kind and has taken so much time to explain this entire process to me- even before I had set foot in the office.Between Jenn and Dr. Caufield, I have had a wonderful experience and feel that I am in good hands. I would highly recommend them to be your general dentist or your TMJ disorder specialist dentist because they are wonderful!

I went for an initial cleaning/exam/consultation. Dr. Caulfield discussed my history and concerns, did a thorough exam, and hashed out some possible ways to approach treatment. He was extremely warm, helpful, and clear. His down-to-Earth approach immediately put me at ease and I never felt rushed about my many questions. I appreciate that he was interested in addressing root causes before rushing into expensive restoration work.Jordan, the hygienist, did a wonderful job with my cleaning--gentle, but very effective. My teeth were noticeably whiter with no residual soreness after. Even the x-rays and pictures were speedy and less awkward/uncomfortable than my previous experiences elsewhere.I have a long road ahead of me when it comes to dental treatment. Dr. Jon Caulfield has been seeing me and my family for almost a decade and does great work. He uses the latest dental technology which offers fast, pain-free dental work. Its important to keep you mouth and teeth and good condition as it effects whole body health.Recent, Jon did an occlusal adjustment using a really cool computer program that charts out how my bite was and showed him where to fix it. In only 2 sessions he has completely fixed my bite to near perfect and the benefits are amazing. I havent had any headaches which previously, were most likely caused by having an off bite. By making the smallest of adjustments, my teeth all now hit in sync when I chew. He explained to me that when we bite, subconsciously our brain knows when our teeth touch and if our bite is off, our jaws with forcefully try to correct which could cause grinding, excessive tooth wear, and headaches.Hes the best and would highly recommend for the entire family!

I really didn’t think it was possible to have a good experience at a dentist office...so I (like many others) kept putting it off. I walked in with my guard up and was met with such warmth and professionalism that I knew I was in the right place. Plus, my daughter has had amazing work done here and I knew that the office has the most cutting edge technology around. This put my mind at ease somewhat. That’s when I learned that the people using the cutting edge technology were just as impressive. If needed, they had things at-the-ready to make sure I was comfortable the entire visit. Never again will I go without a dental routine in place. I have already scheduled my next 2 appointments. Dr. Jon Caulfield and his entire staff at Epic Dentistry in Littleton have set the bar high.

So I just left this office. Amazing!!!! Everybody is concerned with making you feel good. I went to another dentist that told me all my teeth needed crowns and it would be about $15000 in treatment. This dentist really asked me what I wanted and what I was comfortable with. He saved two of my teeth that were supposedly dead. I highly recommend. I am going back tomorrow and he will be the dentist I use for my treatment plan.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Caulfield for the last 11 years. Thanks to his specialization in Biomimetic Dentistry, he saved me from crowns and root canals. His staff is wonderful, too. Even though I moved out of state, I still schedule appointments with EPIC every time I’m back in town.

Run! Jon Caulfield is a rip off and his front-desk person Joyce is a shill for him. I got taken for an outrageous, unscrupulous and unethical amount of $10,395. Being desperate for relief from ringing in my head post neck trauma, he craftily assured me it was TMJ and that he could fix it. He told me he had to charge me extra due to the complexity of my case and that I had to pay him upfront before any treatment. Jon did no diagnostics, no treatment plan, no follow up, and no post diagnostics. In fact, he did nothing but spend hours trying to adjust a poorly-made acrylic splint from an inferior lab resulting in excessive revisions. My primary dentist charges $700 for a splint. He then did TENS treatment on my neck and jaw for hours while he worked on someone else and the next day when I awakened I felt like my throat was closing up due to the relaxation of the muscles. I called and told Joyce and all they did was refer me back to other doctors because they said it was my neck (so, I paid him extra due to the complexity of my case and he cant do anything to help me; but keeps ALL my money and tells me to get help elsewhere and now all my budget has been spent). I called many times in pain and they did nothing and again referred me to a neck doctor. Jons behavior is unconscionable pretending he cares but that is just a facade. My attorney on my neck injury case called Jon several times but Jon did not return the calls and was not willing to help us. I gave Jon numerous opportunities and waited months trying to work with him. Jon ignored me and abandoned me. I asked for at least a partial refund but Jon again did not even return my call. Jon did not remotely help me and caused me anguish and financial pain in an extremely difficult situation. Jon is incapable of caring and his dental practice is questionable. All he cares about is money. Run!

The team at Epic Dentistry does a great job. They genuinely care about me and my family. I appreciate the fact that they dont use metal for fillings and that Dr. Caulfield uses a laser for cavities. It means not shots, unless the cavity is large!

I have been a patient here a long time. I have always had excellent care with Dr. Caulfield and his staff. In the summer of 2014 I decided to have some major work done. I have always had small teeth. I had what you might call a grin but not much of a real smile. We decided to put crowns on every one of my upper teeth. This was not simply cosmetic as my teeth were wore down quite a bit, however what I ended up with was nothing less than fantastic.I feel confident to smile now. I have had to figure out what to say when I received a compliment on what a great smile I have, something I never had to deal with before. What a great feeling. Came here based off Google reviews. It had been a long time since I had seen a dentist and past experiences left me more than distressed. Dr. Caulfield was open and inviting and made me feel comfortable. After my exam and cleaning, Dr. Caulfield informed me that I needed to have some cavities filled before they got worse. Then he told me that no shots would be necessary and the laser / water jet machine he used was painless, I thought he was crazy.I came in the next week for my appointment, still worried and not convinced that I would not need any type of numbing or shots (I was having 6 cavities filled). NOTHING, no pain at all. I honestly could not believe it. It was so nice to leave the dentist without any pain, no numb mouth, and then go eat lunch immediately after. Will be back, and highly recommend. Thanks!

Best dentist and staff Ive ever had! I had a lot of dental work that I needed done but had put off for financial reasons but due to some prior bad dental work I had to find a dentist to correct it right away. I am so thankful I chose Dr. Caulfield, he has done a great job on everything Ive had done so far. I know that dental work cant be guaranteed but no matter what happens I know that Ive found a dentist who is doing the absolute best that any dentist can do and thats a great feeling. Plus Joyce, the office manager, is wonderful about working with your insurance and being accurate on what to expect financially. Great service all the way around.

After not having been to a dentist in 5-6 years, I am in awe of the treatment I obtained under Dr. Jon. I went in with a severe gum infection on my upper jaw, knowing my tooth will probably need to be pulled. After consulting with him and examining the x-ray taken of my tooth, he went in for the extraction. There was minimal to no pain, and I was out within an hour and a half. The Dental Assistant also seemed to be very knowledgable and professional regarding dental and oral hygiene. I am tying this review a day later and the amount of pressure let off of my gums in that time has resulted in, again, no pain. Thank you Dr. Jon for the great experience!

Dr. Caulfield is such a pioneer in his field! He is extremely knowledgeable about airways and biomimetic dentistry in addition to general dentistry. He is patient and kind and is helping to undue the damage done to me by braces and tooth extractions in my younger years. The extractions and the braces narrowed my jaw, airway, caused constant ear pressure, teeth grinding/clenching, sensitive teeth, TMJ, etc. Using the MRNA (top & bottom of DNA appliance), things are really improving!UPDATE since using the MRNA for a year or so - its really helped relax my jaw, it doesnt allow my teeth to clench or grind, my sleep is getting better and Im waking more refreshed, my TMJ doesnt click anymore, my migraines are virtually non-existent, my teeth are barely sensitive anymore, and theres a lot of space. Youd think it would hurt to expand your upper and lower jaw, but it really was easy and painless because it happened slowly but consistently. Yes, it took some getting used to having two devices in my mouth LOL, but once I did, I cant imagine life without the changes. I cant wait until I no longer need a nighttime appliance or maybe just once a week!Ive spent a fortune in the past on my mouth between root canals from grinding/clenching, cavities from crowded teeth, migraines, TMJ pain, building up my teeth, so many splints I cant list them all (many hard ones I actually bit through), TENS unit, front tooth appliance, etc. But, none of them were addressing the airway issue that was so vital to my health and none addressed the structural issue of the teeth that had been pulled so they were simply bandaids.So grateful to him and his staff for caring so much, keeping apprised of new technologies/options, and for educating people on new options and tooth conserving dentistry.

I can’t recommend Dr. John Caulfield and the wonderful team at Epic Dentistry in Littleton enough. I come all the way from Boulder for my dental care, and it’s worth the trip. Dr. Caulfield was originally recommended to me by my old dentist in Los Angeles, Dr. Ana Brightleaf of Cosmetic and Holistic Dentistry in Santa Monica (itself an outstanding practice for anyone who’s moving out there), who I had been with for several years. Dr. Brightleaf had placed an emphasis on preserving as much of my natural tooth anatomy as possible before doing any fillings or other work, advising me on natural methods of stopping and reversing tooth decay where possible. Dr. Caulfield takes the same approach, and that is what resonates with me.When I did need a small filling, however, Dr. Caulfield did an amazing job. His modern laser method eliminated the need for drilling entirely, and therefore also the added ordeal of dental anesthetics. I felt no discomfort at all, just a slight coldness from the laser. The whole procedure was over in about 15 minutes, and best of all, Dr. Caulfield did it for me right after a routine cleaning, to save me an extra trip from boulder. That’s a combination of cutting-edge expertise and professionalism, patient care and enthusiasm for my dental health that I can really feel good about recommending.The rest of his staff is great, too. His office staff is always helpful, knowledgeable and cheerful on the phone, and my hygienist, who was trained in the Army, is very thorough at cleaning my teeth with no discomfort (I sometimes have sensitive teeth), and is also very pleasant and relaxing to talk to. On my first visit, she even gave me a ride back to the bus stop as it was the end of the day and she didn’t want me to miss my bus.Epic Dentistry is located in the Ken Caryl area of southwest Denver, and is within easy walking distance of the Ken Caryl park and ride, where bus routes 77 and 85 connect to the Mineral Light Rail station. They are definitely worth the visit, even if you don’t live close by. I know I’ll be glad I made the trip, and be able to keep my teeth in better shape for years to come. Dr. Caulfield is wonderful! He changed my life in 2 short years. When I first arrived I had 24/7 headaches and jaw pain from tmjd. I had broken teeth and was existing on a diet of apple sauce and mashed potatoes. Dr. Caulfield treated me with a specialized orthotic that was based on measurements from the k7 machine. He did several crowns, a few implants and composites to restore both the function and aesthetics of my bite. I can now eat steak and sandwiches again! I have zero pain and my life is back. Dr. Caulfield cares about his patients and is a perfectionist. He will not stop until he has done everything possible for you. I have suffered trauma at a dentists office before and suffer from anxiety in the chair. He has always been supportive and understanding. I drive over an hour (each way) to see him and wouldnt consider seeing another dentist for even a cleaning. Joyce is also amazing! She is great at making you feel welcome as soon as you enter the office, she is great at following up on questions and is one of the nicest people I have ever met.

Dr. Caufield is by far the best dentist ever to have worked on me. He very accurately evaluated and is currently treating a severe occlusion/TMJ issue that has been missed or misunderstood by all previous dentists. He partnered with Dr. Randy James, a neck alignment specialist (of the atlas disc), to have my neck adjusted to the optimal position while bringing my teeth and jaw into their optimal position. I have seen outstanding improvement in my posture, which includes many years of being hunched over, and my whole spine has realigned as a result of his care. My clenching has disappeared, and I am finding a tremendous reduction of jaw tension and painful sensitivity with my ears/hearing that resulted from the strain.I found him through the work of Dr. Clayton Chan, who promotes GNM dentistry to correct severe occlusion and TMJ issues. Dr. Caufield is trained in this model and is a leader in the field. Before meeting him, I had tried to get my issue addressed with innumerable specialists and found that I had wasted thousands of dollars in multiple treatments they inaccurately thought would address the source of the pain. Those treatments included a failed (regular) NM orthotic therapy, a drawer full of painful splints (10+), and two courses of braces that only worsened the issue and brought my neck out of its alignment.I give Dr. Caufield the highest recommendation, and remind others of the advantages of finding one doctor who can take patients from start to finish- GNM orthotic therapy, braces, and tooth reconstruction- without the need to refer out. He has the latest technology and an outstanding office. He is kind, generous, and extremely detail oriented! I truly would not go anywhere else!

Dr Caulfield has the latest technology education and equipment (Lasers, X-Ray, and a Cerac machine to make his own crowns. You can get a complete crown in 2 to 3 hours - no need to come back. He has continued his education to offer solutions beyond normal Dentistry including TMJ solutions. In-plants and mouthguards are some other technologies he offers. He is great with Kids..

From the moment Dr Caulfield picked up the phone (yes, he answered the office phone) I knew I had found the right dentist. For me my dental care is about trust and you gain trust with honesty. Regrettably Ive had a lot of work done with numerous dentists. We moved last year and I put off finding a new dentist because in my experience its hard to find one you can trust. With Dr. Caulfield and his team, my family and I have had great experiences, which is no small task in the world of dentistry. Joyce in the front office was Amazing in helping answer my questions, working with me to find the best times for me and my family, and just being able to put my mind at ease even before my appointment. For over 20 years, I have been suffering from extreme headaches, jaw and neck pain, bone popping in my jaw, lock jaw, tinnitus and insomnia, all caused by TMJ. I have seen countless dentists in an effort to try and fix or reduce the severity of my condition. I was given several bite splints to wear while sleeping and narcotics to reduce the discomfort. The bite splints did not help and narcotics do not fix a problem, they only mask it. Being a holistic person, I was not interested in taking the narcotics to begin with. I upped my ante and visited with three specialists across two states and all three of them recommended a very barbaric surgery that had roughly a 6-month recovery time and a 50% chance of success. If I was lucky enough to be in the successful 50% bracket, they informed me that I faced a 50% chance of my condition returning in only a few years. How is that appealing to anyone? Not to mention the risk of additional issues stemming from the surgery. At that point. I felt hopeless and gave up. I heard about Dr. Caulfield and thought, Theres no way; Ive been through all the specialists for the last 20+ years and nothing can be done to improve my quality of life. I made an appointment to see what he was all about and was very apprehensive at first, yet intrigued. I was hearing things I never heard before. No surgery. No pain. No recovery time to deal with. No risk of additional issues forming. Usually the word no is a bad thing, but hearing that I was not going to face all the issues presented to me in the past was very exciting. My husband and I sat with Dr. Caulfield for several hours, going over my entire history and future. We decided to go with his plan and started my treatment. I was fitted for an orthotic that I wear during my awake hours and within 3 days, I felt a difference. 3 days! Unreal. My jaw stopped popping, my headaches went away. My neck pain disappeared. I started going to Epic Dentistry in 2007, mainly because of their convenient office location in Littleton-Ken Caryl. From my first visit the entire staff was super helpful and friendly, and you will see the same staff today as 8 years ago! But the biggest reason I have stayed is that I always knew I was getting the best in dentistry. Prior to seeing Dr. Caulfield, I had spent a small fortune on my 4 front teeth after losing them in an accident. I had very little natural bone to work with, and was finding that the crowns would last a couple years at best before needing to be replaced. As a biomimetic dentist, Dr. Caulfield was able to preserve as much of the natural tooth as possible and the crowns he put in have lasted almost 8 years now. When one of the crowns came loose last month, Dr. Caulfield was able to replace just the one and match it perfectly to my other front tooth (the older crown). The best part is that with newer technologies he molded the crown right there in his office and I had a brand new tooth and perfect smile in 1 day!Unlike other experiences I have had with dentists, Dr. Caulfield does a great job at helping patients understand various treatment options so that you can make an educated decision about your dental care. If you are looking for a professional, detailed dentist who is on top of the latest/best practices in dentistry (TMJ, biomimetic, invisalign, ortho, dentures, etc.) I could not recommend a better dentist!
