I unfortunately did not have the best experience. Although the office was clean and the staff was nice, the work I had done on my teeth was a nightmare. My husband and I just moved to the area, so I was looking for a new dentist to get established with. I was ready for the regular exam check and a possible cleaning but ended up staying there for over 3 hours. I got my exam with Dr. Tully. He stated I should look into Invisalign due to crowding (I have never been told this by another dentist), also suggested getting my teeth whitened and that I needed to look into getting a mouth guard while I sleep (Also never been told this before). He also recommended I have two fillings redone. This isnt my first rodeo with fillings so I expected an easy fix and I would be on my way. EVERYTHING went wrong. They didnt have the right tools, the water device was dropped on the ground at one point and they ended up needing 2 other people to help him fix one filling. These two fillings took more than an hour to complete. I left there feeling like I had razor blades in my mouth. In the following days, I began to feel excruciating pain in the tooth he had done one of the fillings on. I called to have them recheck it because I knew something was wrong. It took them 3 days to get me back in (3 days I sat in pain). He ended up redoing the filling for a second time and claimed he got close to the nerve so I might be in more pain. Its been two weeks and I am still in pain. I ended up having to call another dentist, who said I may need a possible root canal now due to my filling not being done properly.I will not be going back, nor recommending anyone to go back either.

First time at the office for a extraction by Dr. Moorhouse. I was a little worried about this place after reading the negative reviews, but every person that i interacted with at the office went out of there way to make it a positive experience. The front office was quick to greet me and check me in and very sweet and personable. The x-ray lady also very quick and very professional and nice. The dental assistant to set me up for the extraction very nice, informative and professional. Then the whole extraction with Dr. was super quick and easy, also very nice and professional Dr. No complaints by me and I would definitely go back for any other issues.

I’ve been a patient with this dental group for several years now and the quality of care is consistently excellent. Everyone is super nice, the care is affordable, and the quality of the dental services is the best I’ve had. Highly recommend.

Ugh, I feel terrible. I referred someone close to me here as this has been my dentist for a few years and I’ve had no complaints- until now. However, after a routine root canal and crown, my referral now can’t open his mouth even 2 fingers wide. It’s painful to eat, smile, laugh and after being prescribed a pain pill and a muscle relaxant the situation has not improved. It’s been 5 days since taking the prescriptions and 9 day since the procedure. The dentist is well aware of the issue, there was no follow up and today 9/7 when trying to get an appointment there is no one who can see him today (emergency services are a joke here), no one of authority in the office to try to help the situation or better the opportunity for relief and no one is able to get a hold of the dentist. And if an afternoon appointment is needed for next Monday then he’ll be waiting around until the doctor is available to squeeze him in, so after $1000’s paid for lock jaw, the result is to be out even more money because these guys just don’t care. At all. What is the point of emergency services if the dentist isn’t willing to come in for an emergency that he is well aware of to begin with considering he is the cause of the problem. They don’t take emergencies seriously, they aren’t concerned if anything went wrong to try to correct the problem so if you go here I hope you haven’t had issues with their routine treatments-like me because if you do you’re up a creek. He paid the dentist for a routine crown and left with lock jaw. And parkway wasn’t even concerned enough to try to get him in the office to see what is going wrong with their treatment. My family goes to Dr Jamie Curtis and I have to say, when I my sister was in pain Dr Curtis was off but her office went out of there way to resolve the problem, called Dr Curtis on her cell phone who even provided my sister with her cell phone number out of concern for her patient.I wish parkway dental was even slightly concerned about their patient to provide a fraction of that level of service. I will be changing over for sure.

I really enjoyed my dental visit. I am a really happy that I chose Parway Dental. I really like the personality of Ruby. She was amazing. I love the way that she explained everything that was going on step by step. She was fun to talk to. This made me calm down. I was so nervous to go to the dentis because I have not had dental work in so long. I always care for others before me. I would definitely go back with the rest of my family.

Disorganized office with little or no communication among the staff. Rude front-end help. I was waiting for 45 minutes with my 80-yr-old friend. I asked if there could have been a posting regarding the delay. I live so close we could have come back. She told me We can t afford anything like that. in a snotty tone. I suggested a piece of paper or a chalkboard wouldnt cost much. I told her that perhaps she was in the wrong line of work if she couldnt be be more gracious to people. She was horrible and I told her bosses so. So disrespectful of others time. Another time I was called in to have a bridge placed. I was in the room nearly an hour, so long that I actually fell asleep. I had to call the front desk to remind them that I was there. No one told my dentist that I was there. As this dentist was doing the drilling where she wold be placing that bridge, another dentist was watching and actually said, to paraphrase, that it was awfully close to the nerve. My dentist thought it was fine. When it came time to place it, it took three people and a lot of hard work to get it in. Within a year, the tooth that she drilled failed and I had to get the bridge removed. $5,000 spent and lost. Now lets talk about the deliberate misdiagnosis of pending gum disease, necessitating antibiotic packs on my gums. According to this place, my margins were very deep and I needed these packs (at $50 each one). Because you trust the so-called professionals, you go with it. I left this practice not long after and talked with another dentist, who declared that my margins were fine( as I suspected.) I spoke with more than a few others I met about this dental office and the common theme was them diagnosing problems that didnt exist in order to charge for unneeded treatments. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

I used to come to this office about 7 years ago for routine work. I came back in after awhile of not going there and everything has changed. I came in for a routine cleaning and check up and waited more than 45 minutes in the waiting room after my appointment time before I got called back. As I’m getting my xrays done the technician was struggling to get good X-rays. I was in that room for about another 30 minutes. She also stated “wow I must be retarded” for not being able to get good images. Very unprofessional. As soon as I get into the actual room for my cleaning the hygienist comes in to tell me that I need to get periodontal laser surgery. I am 24 years old my gums are not receding that fast. They stated that it was just going to be a “deep clean” for my teeth and that it was basically no big deal. I did some of my own research and found out that is not the case. I left and did not come back. I also got two other opinions from two separate offices. They told me there is no way I needed that procedure done and that I just needed a basic cleaning. It is scary to me that these people have no morals and will just do a surgery to people who do not need it. I would recommend not going here.

I came to Parkways Dental for a crown on my front tooth following a root canal and this office is absolutely Incredible! Dr. Ardy and his team of assistants are amazing. They listen to all of my concerns around being a professional speaker because I talk for a living. My smile and speech are very very important to me. Not only did they explain everything in detail about the proceedure, they genuinly eased my nerves around the crown process. Everything was incredibly professional from the temporary crown with Alyssa who did a phenomenal job making my temporary LOOK and feel great until I had my final crown delivery. Amanda and Ruby were so gental and efficient with Xrays and the work that followed after in the crown delivery. I will never go to another dental office because this staff has a passion for dentistry and it shows up in their customer service, gentle touch and attention to cosmetic detail. If I could give 6 stars I would give 7. I absolutely reccomend Dr.Ardy and his staff at Parkway Dental Group, I wont go to anyone else!!

My family and I have been patients at Parkway Dental Group for about three years. I have always been reasonably happy with them. Until today. My three children have insurance under my ex-husband. My husband and I have our own insurance. Every single time we have an appointment for the kids I get a call the day before telling me that my children arent covered by my insurance. I explain that they are covered under their dads insurance, and they fix it. The issue is that the office continues to think my kids and I have the same insurance and dont seem to have a way to differentiate one family having two different insurances. This has been mildly annoying, but always fixed quickly with a competent and polite staff. They have acknowledged what the issue is and have always been quick to find the problem and correct it when we speak. My son showed up early to his 10:00 appointment. I received no call the day before the appointment, so I warned him that there may be an issue and explained how to handle it. I got a call from him just after 10 when he tells me that they have done exactly what I told him would happen (because it ALWAYS happens) and that he needed more details for his dads insurance. I give him the information, but Tyese Evans, the office manager for the dental group (who I have seen make mistakes in the past that her staff has to fix for her) tells him that he cant be seen this morning because its getting too late now. (It is now 10:11 am, and the only reason its even that late is because she had him step aside so she could help other people, and because they didnt call the day before to sort this out) He tells her no, that his only availability is this morning. She says the insurance needs to be fixed. They go back and forth. Then I ask to speak with her. I try to explain the situation, and every time I try to explain, she cuts me off and tells me Im wrong. Its hard to imagine I dont know what Im talking about when I told my son before he left exactly what he might run into when he got there, and then it actually happened. Clearly I knew from experience what to expect. I let her know that it was unacceptable to not see my son when he arrived early, they didnt contact us the day before to let us know about the issue with the insurance so it could be cleared up ahead of time, and she wasnt even capable of handling the insurance inquiry. (I have worked with two other staff in the office who seem to find insurance coverage within minutes, but Tyese didnt seem to know how to do that, which is unfortunate given her position as an office manager) She agreed to have him seen. We hung up the phone and my son said she went into the office of the dentist and was gone for a while. She came back out with him and the dentist said he would like me to call him.I have always loved this dentist. I am a very nervous patient and he has been so accommodating and gentle with my phobias. I was happy to talk to him. But when I explained my frustration, he only wanted to discuss getting my son seen and fixing the insurance. I stated that I felt that his customer service issues were something that I would like to see resolved and he would not agree that this was an issue to discuss. He said he would have a staff member contact me to finish the insurance issue, and I requested it not be Tyese as she seems incompetent at best, unlike his other two staff members. We have a family of five that visits this office. We will no longer be returning. I have no issues with the quality of the dental work, the hygienists are wonderful and two other support staff are a pleasure to work with. By Tyese Evans is incompetent and rude and she is the reason that we will not be returning and that I highly recommend you not visit this office. If you read through other reviews you will notice that everyone appears to have the same issues with her. The entire office is lovely, with the exception of the office manager. If she ever leaves, we would reconsider this decision.
