After over a decade of losing my hearing, I read an article in the Lewiston Tribune that featured Dr. Simon. I had tried to have my hearing improved by going to hearing aid salespeople, with no success as my hearing slowly grew worse. The article awakened me to how my life had changed and I withdrew into a solitary state since I could no longer hear much of what people said to me, especially when there was background noise. On Thursday, Dr. Simon gave me an audiological examination. She pointed out to me the major problems in my hearing and measures which hopefully will improve my hearing. She explained the differences in hearing aids and how one will deal with low sounds better than the others while other aids will deal with other levels of sound. I never considered how complex fitting a hearing aid to ones hearing could be, but Dr. Simon was the person to have the audio training and research necessary to recommend an aid that hopefully will help me to once again blend into a social setting in which I can share my thoughts since I heard what the conversation was about. I am anxious to receive my new hearing aids that have been professionally selected and fit for my hearing loss. Dr. Simon has given me hope to return to a conversational level and to ease the frustration that I have caused to my wife and others who I could not hear because of my audio loss. And maybe I should have a t-shirt made bearing this notice: Beware, I have hearing aids that work. I will hold you responsible for every word you say. Hooray: the sun will shine once again.

I received a more comprehensive hearing test than Ive ever had. Dr. Simon explained my issues in terms I could understand, and helped me choose the best hearing aids for my lifestyle. All in all I couldnt be happier with my experience. Friendly service, comfortable atmosphere, no hassles.

Dr. Ann took the time to listen to my concerns and issues. Upon testing my hearing & only diagnosed such slight hearing loss, she was able to give me a couple of handouts that had tips for better hearing for me & also one for family members as to how they could make it easier for me to hear them or the TV. Thankful I didnt need aids at this time. Very pleasant staff.

The patient was Vivian Griggs and when I called to get her an appointment after her primary Dr gave a referral per Dr. Simons request we were told that they wont help due a missed appointment. We didnt have a previous appointment because they needed the referral. So after jumping through hoops and being told they wont take us we decided to choose another provider. The gentleman on the phone was not willing to listen or help rectify the confusion.

Simon audiology did a fabulous job with my little guy who has tons of sensory issues! Anne made everything a fun game for him and was super patient. She was able to accomplish complete and accurate testing, and he actually left saying he was coming back! They all treated us like friends, yet also very professionally. Simon Audiology is the Best!!! My first experience with them was with my father. They were kind and caring and provided my Dad with the most comprehensive hearing exam he had ever had - and he had had many before. My father lives six hours away from me and prior to going to Simon Audiology, it was nearly impossible to visit with him on the phone because he could not hear. Simon Audiology was able to set him up with hearing aides that work directly with his cell phone. It is wonderful to be able to talk to my Dad again even when we are far apart.
