I had a great experience and Dr Nguyen Tran was very compassionate and thorough. She listen to all my concerns and answered all my question. Im very pleased with my visit and the plan/treatment put together to address my long term allergies.

I have suffered from horrible allergies since I was a kid. I have tried just about everything with no relief! I went in to this office and was blown away with just how amazing and caring they are. I would recommend them to everyone! I felt like they truest cared and listed to me the entire time. They sat down and acted like I was the only patient there and all their attention was on me. The front desk staff was so sweet and helpful also and make check in and checking out so easy! I am so glad I have found relief with my allergies and it’s all thanks to them!

I have been an Allergy And Asthma Care patient for many years. Everything about the practice is professional, the office staff, the nurses, the physician assistants, and the doctors. Most important, they are all very caring and are prompt to respond to a request. I always feel I get the best and most thorough treatment when I am either in the office or having a video visit with a PA or doctor. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of their specialtyin the treatment and maintenance of allergies and asthma.

Dr. Levine and his staff were so welcoming, thorough, understanding, and kind. As a nurse, the customer service was beyond measure in helping me figure my symptoms.

We have been seen at this practice for over 25 years. They have the best organized office ever. They have a system that when you call, they are very efficient. They call back in usually less than half hour, ask questions, confer with the doc, then (very soon) call you back with a solution for the issue. If you need to be seen they fit you in. If the doctors can’t fit you in they have awesome nurse practitioners that I trust as much as the docs. Dr. Levine and Dr. Bernabe are the docs we have seen and they are both amazing good doctors. I’m an RN so I know what excellence is in a medical practice. They are definitely that! I have not seen a practice that is as well run as Allergy & Asthma Care. They are simply the best!

Ive been coming here for over 40 years, with my experience today , being an old man I got to kid around with 3 wonderful young people that were completely professional .My Doctor was great, she saved me 100.00 on a script, and being an old man, thats a good thing. The kicker, was check out, what an incredibly sour individual, completely ruined the whole visit. she was so sour I had to ask her if she was having a bad day, what a far cry from the way things were ran the last 40 years. I would of given a 5 star but the checkout destroyed my thoughts there.

I could not have asked for a better scheduling experience. I needed to be seen as soon as possible as a new patient and Alissa (office staff) was very efficient, organized and went above and beyond to schedule a tele-visit on a Saturday with Dr. Tran. Dr Tran exceeded my expectations and was very thorough and patient with me. For those reasons...I’m grateful and will be a returning patient!

I’ve been dealing with a skin condition, that eventually became a systemic condition, for 2 years. I saw 2 dermatologists ago the Kansas Skin and Cancer Center who diagnosed with several miscellaneous conditions, such as perioral dermatitis, rosacea, hormonal acne and then cystic acne, over the course of 6 months, while dismissing my concerns of a more serious condition and refusing to run cultures or additional testing.I reached out to my PCP who treated me the best she could before realizing I needed to see a specialist, so she referred me to a dermatologist who specializes in autoimmune disorders. This dermatologist told me I was having a drug interaction and advised me to ween off of my prescription medications. I followed up with her 4 weeks later with no improvement, at which point she decided I was having delusions...My PCP finally referred me to Dr. Levine at Allergy and Asthma, where he confirmed I was dealing with a serious skin infection and possible systemic infection. I left the appointment with 6 prescription medications for several health concerns and an order to get blood work to test for inflammation and infection in my blood.I almost cried during my appointment, and I definitely did when I got home, because Dr. Levine was the only specialist who treated me with the respect and concern I’ve been begging for from specialists for years now. I saw him yesterday so I don’t have any results yet, but I see and feel a radical improvement with only 1 dose of his prescribed medications underway now. If any other doctor had taken me as seriously as he has, I’d have had a much better quality of life for the past few years and would have likely avoided serious scarring left from whatever it is I’m dealing with.I’m so grateful for Dr. Levine because I know he’s going to help me restore my health.

Dr. Sara Powell is amazing! She listens to your concerns and issues, never rushes you, and then creates a plan to address the problem. She goes to the trouble to write everything down (legibly I might add) so that when you leave the office you remember everything that was discussed and what the treatment plan is. I feel so blessed to have Dr. Powell as my physician. In addition, the whole office staff is super friendly as well.

My allergies have been far worse in the heartland than anywhere else Ive ever lived. Considering that, Allergy and Asthma Care PA has done real well by me. Its a pretty large office with several doctors, and a very friendly staff. Ive been able to get appointments without a lot of trouble, their billing/insurance handling has been near seem less, and they generally get me in and out in minimum time.They have handled COVID-19 operations well, aside from the nationwide confusion during the early months in 2020. Overall, I think Im getting in and out faster now than pre-COVID.Dr. Levine is my allergy PCM, and has been candid and informative all through my treatments, which will probably go on as long as I live in Kansas. Im glad to have this team supporting me!

I came to Dr Bernabe defeated! I had been to so many doctors who told me my skin condition was “inconclusive” and I would be on prednisone for life. Dr Bernabe listened to me and worked with me. She correctly diagnosed my condition prescribed medicine that has truly changed my life! I would highly recommend Dr Bernabe.

This was my first appointment at this office and my first appointment with an allergist/asthma doctor. Dr. Powell was exceptional!!! Though I was there for 3 hours it was due to the testing she had me do. She explained to me what the test was going to be before I had it done. When she walked out of the room, it wasnt long before someone came in to do a test, and when the test was complete it wasnt long before she was back in the room explaining the results! I know she had other patients, but she NEVER had me wait long before I was being taken care of. She had great bedside manner and I feel like I finally have some answers and a direction to take. BEST MEDICAL EXPERIENCE! Dr. Cori Passer is the doctor I visit. Everyone from Dr. Passer to the staff is extremely knowledgeable, caring, very responsive, helpful, friendly, and professional. I wish that all medical doctor offices would operate as professionally, friendly, and efficiently as this office does. I feel like Dr. Passer cares about my entire health (and not just allergies) and always inquires about all of my health as a whole during visits. She lets me know that her and her office is always available and encourages me to call even with a cold. The entire experience from the initial call, to the waiting room, immunotherapy shots, exams to check-out is amazing. My biggest complaint is that I cant go to this office for ALL of my doctor needs. All other doctor offices just pale in comparison.Out of total coincidence, 3 of my co-workers also go to this allergist and we all have nothing but rave reviews! My quality of life greatly improved once I started seeing Dr. Passer in 2007!

I’ve been itching and my Dermatologist referred me to Allergy and Asthma care. First off, I have never been an advocate of allergy docs as I just question some of the science. I was incorrect. The level of care provided was unprecedented in my experience, from the initial nurse, to the PA, to the Doctor herself. Listened, took notes, did not hurry, did not jump to conclusions. Wise up, people, this team of very good doctors does indeed expect to be paid for their service. Don’t go here if you expect to get stuff for free, or to pay for it six months later.

We started allergy shots with my daughter in 2016 and the nurses there are very aware and contentious in monitoring patients. Sabrina, one of the nurses, noticed that my daughter had a cough that ultimately made us realize that she had diminished breathing function. My daughters cough was so chronic, sporadic, and under my radar that I wouldnt have addressed it further on my own since it seemed insignificant (but wasnt). I really appreciate the attention to detail here.

Dr. Tran has changed my sons life! Without her he would still be suffering. The whole office staff always goes above and beyond!

The doctors here really know their stuff and truly care about making their patients (literally) breath easy again. Definitely give this place a try if you have terrible allergiesor asthma you cant seem to get a solution for.

I seen Dr. Tran and she diagnosed a immune problem that had caused me 10+ years of pain and repeated illnesses. I had been to multiple doctors trying to figure out what was wrong. No one even thought to look at immune even though Id been on antibiotics and steroids for multiple years. I went to see her to help with asthma and allergies. I told her about repeated sinus infections and all the constant body pain I was having. She LISTENED to me and began trying to find the answer right away. Within a month I had a diagnosis! If I had gone one more year or so without treatments I could have died from an infection as small as a cold! Shed kind, intelligent, thorough, will consult with other doctors, explains everything, and stays on top of your care. She wont forget about you. She is an EXCELLENT doctor! I worked in a hospital for years in the nursing field so you can trust me on that!

Great care the best allergy and asthma care in the greater Kansas City area!

The most professional, the most caring, and most organized practice there ever was. Everyone should take lessons from them. If you are Ill or have questions and call, you do not talk to a machine but a real person. Usually within minutes, but always less than an hour the nurse will call. If she needs to speak with the doctor, again the wait time for a return call is brief. Their PAs and NPs are excellent as well. For urgent situations, they are a God send! My family has received excellent care from them for over 20 years.

This place is AWFUL. I dont even know where to begin. They have this ridiculous policy where you must pay in full or else they charge your credit card, which you are required to have on file by the way. I was harassed multiple times when I asked about making payments (they still allowed me to make a few payments but eventually they just charged the whole bill without subtracting the payments I already had made.) Then my credit card was charged for the wrong amount. Their billing staff is unprofessional and rude. I did not find their allergy specialist helpful at all. I would absolutely find else where to take your services.

All the doctors, Nurse Practioners, Physician Assistants and Nurses are EXCELLENT. They listen, and are very attentive. The negative would be one front office member, receptionist that tends to be rude and not always professional when speaking to patients in person or on the phone. The rest of the front office is EXCELLENT.

I have had an amazing experience here. Everyone in the office is extremely nice and helpful with whatever questions I have. It only took me about a week or two to get in as a new patient. They have very schedule friend allergy injection hours. Their physicians and nurses seem to really care about you as individual. My doctor James Nieburger, has been nothing but helpful battling my extremely bad spring allergies with me. He is also really knowledgeable about medications, and which medications will be cheaper over the counter vs getting it as a prescription. He is an amazing patient advocate and I recommend him to anyone! Once, I had a bad reaction to one of my shots, and had to call the On-call doc (Terry Levine) after hours. Dr. Levine was very helpful with what to do. He also called a few back hours afterwards (On his own time off ) to check up on me! The next day, one of the nurses made sure to call me right away in the morning to make sure everything went okay over night. This staff is very genuine and I highly recommend them. I travel 25 minutes 1-3 times a week to Allergy and Asthma Care PA to get immunization shots, and I wouldnt go anywhere else!

Run like a maximum profit generating business. Impersonal care, did multiple charges that I wasn’t happy with them charging me. The doctors will freely push you into completely unnecessary follow up visits just so they can get more revenue. Just absurd. Just go somewhere else, trust me, there are sooo many better places out there. After being a patient here for 20+ years I can safely say I wish I had left much sooner. Waaaaaay happier with my new allergist! :)

Called for an appointment waited for a return call when i received one i got a message left on my phone.I called back receptionist said they where still reviewing my application. I was wanting an appointment for allergy shots not a job and if anyone should be intervewing someone it should be me on whether or not I want them as my doctor. Im paying them for a service not the other way around. If i could give a minus star I would. Thats the problem with some Dr the MD goes to their head.

Dr. Tran sees both of my children and is very thorough. Always writes up an action plan to follow and looks for savings cards for you and will hand them to you with your prescription, if there are any. She is patient, kind and well versed in medicine.
