The staff are so friendly and they make me feel at ease during my appointment. It’s nice to go into a workplace and feel like the employees actually like being there and working together. It really makes a difference as a patient. My appointment was also very quick and I was never waiting for a long period of time!

Best eye doctor ever!! I was very pleased with my experience. From the front desk staff to the clinical staff that helped with all of the preliminary work, all were very attentive and knowledgeable. Dr. Ohde was efficient and precise during the eye exam. I really felt comfortable to take my time as he fine tuned my vision through the lenses. The best part is I found a cute pair of frames in under 10 minutes with the help of Sierra!

This office is the best optometrist office Ive ever been to, and Ive needed glasses since the 7th grade. What made everything so good was the friendliness and professionalism of every individual I dealt with. The exam itself was done with careful attention, but it was also quick and to the point. Immediately afterward, I was fitted for a new pair of glasses, which was done with great care to make sure the fit was going to be just right. When I returned a few days later after the lenses had been fitted to the new frames, again I was happy to see the careful adjustments they made to make sure everything was as it should be.Update: I love my glasses 🕶️. This is without doubt the best pair Ive ever had. Thanks!

(child) I would agree with the other reviews as to the staff, very helpful, super great team. My concern is with the diagnosis with my 6 year old child. 2yrs ago I set up appointment for her specifically for being cross eyed when looking up. I told this Eye specialist that I was seeing something askew with her eyeballs when they are looking up. Now at 8 years of age my daughter is able to articulate that what she is seeing when looking up is double vision and blurry. As far as quality this guy being a quality optometrist, I would say that facts say otherwise when it comes to children and ability to actually diagnosis problems. I have no other experience with this optometrist, he has seen my daughter a total of 4 times over 4 years and still is unable to admit he is flat out wrong. Beware!

They are absolutely great with kids. My 3 year old was showing signs of vision issues and I have a special needs child who is in glasses. They work with him and his disabilities and help the 3 year old. They are extremely prompt and are so wonderful to work with. Highly recommend them for anyone.

Just recently moved to the Midwest. First time ever going to vision professionals of Leawood and it will not be the last. I had such an incredible experience with everyone. The staff that works there are all beautiful people. Very clean and welcoming establishment that makes you want to tell others about. Tyler is a great person to talk with. Everyone else is extremely polite and sweet. They put up with my shenanigans and for that, I thank them all. The only complaints I have is that I couldn’t buy everyone there Starbucks due to the Starbucks next door was closed. Thanks again vision professionals of Leawood!

If you’ve ever had the discomfort of a scratched cornea you know how badly you want to see somebody who can give you a diagnosis and some means of soothing the pain. Dr. Ohde saw my young daughters and myself today. His staff was very nice and the office environment was happy. Dr. Ohde was very thorough and patient while he conducted all three of our appointments back to back. They have great frame options but I never felt pressured to buy from him, although, I will be. Ive been seeing Dr. Odhe for years - he is a fantastic doctor who makes a point of keeping up with all the latest tech that is relevant to eye care. I discovered him when I first moved to the area and I now drive a long way just to see him for my appointments. That great of a doctor is worth the drive! Dr. Ohde and his staff are very professional and very nice. Our family has used him several years and recommends him anytime we hear someone is in need of an eye doctor. My daughter is using the orthoK and loves not having to wear contacts or glasses during the day. It has helped her vision to slow down on changing and she can see during the day without corrective lenses. I just wish I was a candidate. I was reluctant because of the cost but it has been well worth it.
